Our experience here is frustrating because even though we're at the very end of the covid-19 pandemic the gym still has very strict mask rules. Even for the young basketball players.

Amazing gym that I highly recommend for experienced lifters to go and get there hands on some nice old school steel weights that honestly feel better. If you at a point we’re you feel stuck I believe this gym can help get you to your next level because there is plenty of weights and plenty of space.

Diamond Athletic Club is what athletic clubs should aspire to be. I've been a member at big "Chain" clubs and smaller clubs and Diamond is precisely what I've needed. It's a clean and welcoming environment with everything you need to be healthy. It's not expensive, the owners are present and friendly, there is no 'pressure' in becoming a member. You sign on for what you sign on for, no gimmicks, if you have questions you can be confident in those who you ask since this is their livelihood, not just a job. They have everything you need, cardio, weights, open space to get in - stay in - improve your fitness. Also Ken makes a mean shake. Last but not least. Honest to God. The weights are always racked, and almost everyone racks their weights. Seriously. In the right place.

I contacted Allison to help me with my nutrition goals and she has been great! I have been getting the results I have been wanting by following her plan. She is great with individualizing/tailoring plans for your needs and is always able to answer whatever questions I have in depth. She is very knowledgeable is what she does and you can tell she has a passion for it. I have also used Case Specific Nutrition’s whey protein for a few years and really like it! I highly recommend Case Specific Nutrition to anyone looking for nutrition or fitness help or goals!

Where do I start? I made my first appoint, ent with Madison because I’m a post-menopausal woman trying to be a competitive rower but I was chronically tired/exhausted and gaining weight. I knew this was not sustainable but I had no idea what to do or where to turn. I was frustrated and felt miserable. I thought I knew about nutrition and how to fuel my athletic endeavors. I thought I understood the changing needs of menopause. In my first meeting with Madison, I learned so much. She said things in a way that just clicked….’don’t leave a meal hungry’ was the first thing that resonated with me. In the 3 months we’ve been working together, I’m sleeping (it’s been decades!) and I’m eating good food (she sends me delicious recipes), my rowing is feeling fantastic (just won a gold medal for the first time) and I’ve lost weight! The best thing is, I know this is not a short term ‘fix’. It’s not a fad. These are life skills and I have not felt this good, energetic, happy on a long while! I am grateful to be working with Madison and look forward to my next appointment!

I have had an excellent experience working with Alison to aid in my diet and nutrition goals both when I was highly active with my cardio and weight training as well as when I needed to adjust my dietary needs after having hip surgery. She is very knowledgeable and truly makes a realistic plan specific to your needs, likes and lifestyle. I highly recommend Alison and Case Specific to anyone who is looking for guidance in healthy nutrition- whether it be for weight loss or exercise and training.

Was there today for the first time today and had a great experience. The facility is very new and very clean, and they have a ton of great equipment. You could go for a very long time and not run out of things to do or ways to modify your workout. Jeremiah is a great trainer with a ton of experience, and unless you happen to be a professional athlete with an entire staff off performance coaches at your disposal, I can't imagine that he couldn't help you improve your fitness. While I haven't personally used the nutrition services, they have had Jeremiah looking unbelievable for several bodybuilding and physique shows. You can't go wrong with this place.

We visited the upper st Clair community center today for a birthday party. We were so excited to go , the pool area is amazing ! It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. They also had a large playground that is perfect for kiddos . They had a large gym as well . The pool area was amazing , they have one inside and one outside. They both have fun slides. They also had a hot tub and a lazy river which was tons of fun .

The good: the indoor pool facility is very nice. The place is clean, the front desk staff members were courteous. The bad which is why I won't return: I stepped out of the pool very briefly to quickly snap a photo of my granddaughters, the 9 yr old was next to the 6 yr old, and an older male lifeguard shouted at me. My granddaughters were terrified of him. He was petty and miserable. The lifeguards are plentiful and very strict. I can understand that but they shout at you and delightfully call out the smallest infraction.

The staff and coaches here are always wonderful, but Sarah is amazing. She truly goes above and beyond. I’ve been a member on and off for a few years now, and every time I have to leave (only ever because my busy schedule sometimes doesn’t work for the class times they offer), or decide to come back-she makes the process so easy. The great workout and progress I see in such a short amount of time, and Sarah’s kindness always keeps me coming back. Definitely recommend.

I started at OTF in February of 2023 and it was the best decision I’ve made in terms of my health and fitness. Workouts are easy to understand, especially with the help of the absolutely amazing coaches!! The coaches also always encourage it’s members to make the workout their own by providing options to make the workout less or more intense. Coaches also always provide accommodations if members have small injuries or pains to make the workout comfortable for you! The support and constant supervision from the coaches makes me feel safe when I’m on the tread, rower, or on the weight floor. Not only does OTF south hills have the best coaches, but also the best staff! The employees behind the desk are always super friendly and always willing to help! Could not recommend them more !!!!!

Very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend. Injured during class, lack of concern or understanding in terms of the membership. My PCP advised me not to continue the program due to severity of the injury and nature of the workouts with lack of rest opportunities. Requested to cancel prior to my billing date and was told they would “run it by the manager” and I never heard back. I ended up being charged over $100 for classes that I won’t be able to use. Called back to review, later offered to freeze my membership which was not offered during my initial call. I initially enjoyed the classes but being new and learning the exercises is very difficult when there is one instructor for 20 people. Instructors do not seem aware of who is new, once you are signed on there is lack of support which is dangerous given the involvement of weight lifting. When you call in, the person answering the phone isn’t one that can assist you, they have lack of confidence and understanding of how to accommodate the members. Will warn people in the community about the financial risk due to the lack of concern from the company.

Probably the best decision I have made in 2024 was joining OTF South Hills. Shoutout to the amazing coaches, Dave, Hannah, Kevin, Jarred, Sarah, wonderful staff, Yaya and Sean. Every single session is different from the other and challenges me to push my limits, and I completely feel the improvement in my physical strength. Workout plans are really intensive but I haven’t had a single injury during or after a workout. Would definitely continue to be a premier OTF member for a long time! Thank you 🙏

This place was enjoyable the first few weeks I joined, but it has steadily gone downhill since the temperature outside went down. There is a trainer named Matt Hunter who is a well known bully to the patrons at the gym. I saw him yell at a man who was working out. I don't think the man heard him at first, because he had headphones in. I've never seen an employee of a company chastise someone who wasn't harming anything or anyone. Luckily a friend warned me to stay away from Matt Hunter when he is in the upstairs gym. Unfortunately, there are a few regulars who do not clean machines, or show basic respect like holding the door for elders. It doesn't feel like a community environment here. Nor do I think this place is as inclusive as they say. JCC, please do better and hire level headed trainers who don't raise their voice like a petulant child when things aren't going their way.

I experienced racism at this gym and was told that non-Jewish people are welcome, but I felt that wasn't the case based on my treatment. The staff, from management to security, were unhelpful, and Kelly Hont (a manager) even tried to admonish me for raising concerns about safety and inclusiveness. The only friendly and courteous staff were the janitors and front desk team. Additionally, the gym swipe cards often malfunction, and I had to rely on janitors to assist with opening secure doors. Gym rules are not enforced—if you're bumped into or bullied, management won't intervene. The lack of respect for diverse members, especially those who are different, made my experience uncomfortable and unsafe.

I cannot say enough good things about this location. I am not a member, but I needed to get a swim assessment done through a licensed lifeguard. It was the only club/center in Allegheny county that even picked up the phone in regards to giving swim tests. Sarah in the aquatics department was absolutely lovely, and so was security at the front desk. My test took no more than 10-minutes and cost $10. If I lived nearby I would 100% join this JCC. The facilities are clean and modern. Plus everyone who came into the building had a smile on their face.

We recently had a pool party at the South Hills JCC for our child’s 9th birthday and I was so impressed with the staff! They took care of everything, from personalized decorations to music to entertaining the kids in the pool. They truly went above and beyond to make the day special.

This is a very clean, pleasant facility. However, they don’t have a range of equipment that includes an upper body wheel or any recumbent workout machines. These would be excellent additions considering the senior citizens and recovering PT people that use the facility. Also, the only walking area is in the gym and that means that when groups are using the gym, you may be ducking from balls etc..

The OT experience is uplifting and motivating. It's less intimate than a 1-on-1 session but the coach is always there for support and motivation if you need it. The heart rate monitor and splat points ignite a sense of competition within yourself to always push yourself to get more splats than the last session. I would recommend this gym to anyone interested in bettering themselves in a friendly environment.

Great gym, great coaches. Been going for years, consistently solid, well thought out workouts, they keep it pretty fresh. The interval training feels impactful. Appreciate the focus on heart rate as objective, personal measure to keep me motivated and working hard. Used to have issues with some of their policies, but they seem to have tuned them up a bit over the years to be a little more customer friendly. Only remaining complaints are a standard-issue strip mall HVAC capacity that isn't nearly up to purging the 10s of thousands of Calories per hour a steady stream of workouts leave behind, even with the supplemental dehumidifiers they sprinkle around. Which makes it all the more tragic when broken ceiling fans aren't fixed quickly. Also, dumbell selection is limited & skewed to lighter weights (70lbs are their heaviest & there's only 1 pair of each weight over 35, probably fine if these weren't "classes" where everyone is more or less doing the same thing at the same time). Occasionally not able to use my preferred weights. I heard they were considering buying more lighter weights, so definitely more female-oriented eq, which is fair, given class demographics. Whining aside, I almost always feel like I got a good workout, and I'd probably still be the same level of sweaty mess if I worked out in a walk-in freezer.

OT is a challenging but doable full body workout. It can be tailored for your fitness level or restrictions. I love that the customized heart monitor lets you know when to push yourself more or pull back a little. The coaches keep you motivated and energized throughout the class. My energy level and overall health have improved immensely since joining. Highly recommend!

At Orangetheory fitness -Robinson, I have easily transitioned into a fun, supportive group. I was hesitant but determined to make this work for me. The Coaches are knowledgeable and very willing to help you find what works for your personal needs. The staff is friendly and always welcoming; even going as far as opening the door as you enter. (Seriously, this small gesture made a huge impact :) ) A bonus to my membership is the scheduled group outings for brunch, Happy Hour etc.Entering my 5th month as a member, I look forward to continuing with my personal goals and progress and making even more friends who are making their own healthy "Orange" journey!Kudos to the entire Orange staff at Robinson~Thank you all! ~Dana

The front desk employees are very helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. The coaches are attentive, encouraging and energetic. The facility is clean and the equipment is well maintained. Most of all I like that your heart rate is monitored and your results are available on the app. Being overweight and out of shape it gives me great peace of mind knowing I’m working in a healthy targeted heart range. That is why I chose to join Orangetheory as opposed to the other gyms I was trying out.

I have been a member at Burn Boot Camp- Robinson since 2021. This gym is so welcoming and you will receive the best training on the floating floor. Each trainer is wonderful and super helpful & supportive. You will be encouraged and motivated not only by the trainers but by other Burn members. I love that I can focus on myself and my health for 45 minutes each time I come. Burn always has fun ways to keep you motivated on your fitness journey. So if you are on the fence about joining a gym don't wait. Just come as you are and you will not be disappointed. I am stronger in my 40s and have the energy I need to keep up with 2 active teens. I hope this will encourage someone to come give Burn a shot. You are stronger than you know!

I used my universal membership while in Pittsburgh and let me say if you live in the area and are looking for a gym to call home you have to check them out!! I am from Georgia and had stayed in town the night before while passing through and decided to see if there was a Burn Boot camp in the area and I found this also location only five minutes from my hotel! I was nervous walking in not only because I was in a new location, but also because I had never used my universal membership. The Burn ambassador that greeted me as I walked was very helpful. She made me feel welcomed throughout the whole process and she introduced me to Rachel the trainer. Rachel was very welcoming and friendly as well chatting with me before camp and cheering me on during camp!! So if you’re in the Pittsburgh area look them up and join! Then if you find yourself in Warner Robins, Georgia after joining use your universal membership and come workout with me!!

If I could give this gym 10 stars, I would! I showed up for my first camp, last April, after struggling to stay consistent, at home. My little ones did not give me the time to work out, and I didn’t push myself. From day one, I felt like part of the Burn community. The trainers are incredible and the members are amazing. They have child watch during a few morning and evening camps, which my kids love! If you haven’t tried this gym, you should! This picture is from the 4th of July!

I was looking for a full body workout that is a combination of weights and cardio. This place is it. Tons of energy. Everyone is super positive. There is a ton of variations. They always explain the workouts in detail before hand. They give modifications if you so desire them. The main thing I like about it …it’s all business for 45 min. There is a lot of work packed into that time. Afterwords everyone stretches and has a nice chat. This is a great place to start your journey.

I love Burn Boot Camp!! Such a caring and welcoming community, and the trainers actually care about you as a person, not just as a customer. I have never once felt judged or intimidated; all workouts are doable for all skill levels, and the members celebrate your successes almost harder than you do! Finding Burn was one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself!

I’ve been a member at Pure Barre North Fayette for a year and having nothing but positive things to say. This is a really great community and all of the instructors work hard to contribute to making class a safe & welcoming workout. The studio does actually enforce the late policy (unlike other studios I’ve tried) and this greatly helps to reduce my distractions. I live within 1,000 feet of a different PB studio & intentionally commute 15-20 minutes each way to this PBNF studio. It is worth it.

I have been a member here for just over a year now and I am so grateful! This team of women are so welcoming and empowering in what they do. My friend Lauren and I signed up together and since we started working out here we both have grown so much in confidence and strength. The environment that these women create for members is so fun and inspiring! The instructors are especially merciful to Lauren and I when we are being silly and getting into shenanigans before and during class. ;)

I have been taking classes at Pure Barre North Fayette for the past year and I can't say enough positive things. The classes are incredible, challenging me both physically and mentally while helping me build strength and flexibility. I love that while the instructors do push you (in the best way), modifications are readily provided if someone needs it for whatever reason. What truly sets this studio apart is the warm and inclusive community, especially thanks to the fantastic instructors. I have loved getting to know them-- it makes working out even more fun and comfortable. I recommend barre to everyone I meet!

I’ve seen them work with members (including myself) individually to perfect form or to help modify when needed. I love the crew I get to see when I work out, makes it even more fun to laugh and have fun while getting an amazing workout in! Pure Barre North Fayette is a special place and so happy to be part of this community!

I have been a Pure Barre member at this studio for over two years and am so glad I found Pure Barre. They have different class formats which make it great to switch up my workout during the week. All of the instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable and teach different classes so I never feel like I am doing the same class twice which I love. The classes are challenging, fun and welcoming and have really made me stronger. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to jumpstart a fitness routine and see real results!
