Had my son’s 5th bday party at FitCityKids yesterday and it was FANTASTIC! My kids, his friends and the parents all had a great time. The facility is clean, spacious, new equipment snd well lit. We had 2 private rooms! And since I opted for the inflatable obstacle course to be added, we actually got one more private play space! I also really love the layout, it’s a really big open space and you can walk down the main aisle and easily see your kid/kids. There is parking! So have no fear moms n dads! The staff is amazing! Teresa, MOD, greeted me, took me on a tour, introduced me to 3 Team Members that were dedicated to help me host and still ENJOY my party! Christa, Emily snd Adriana helped me unload, set up, serve, clean-up, pack up and load up the car again! They made sure we had a great time and that I didn’t have to “work” my kids party! ALL of my mom/dad friends were impressed with the team and the facility snd have added it to their fun place to be list. I am SO grateful to everyone and so happy with Fit City Kids!! Thank you!!

Run, don’t walk to have your next kids birthday party here! The team at Fit City Kids is on it, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I’m talking set up, cake cutting, the whole nine! I expected to come in and do it all myself like a community center room and I was so impressed with the care and the hospitality that was shown. You can bring in entertainment like we did with Dinosaurs Wild, as well as your own food and drink. Kids had a blast and parents got to take tired happy kids home for a nap… hopefully!

My son has been part of the Learn and Play Pre-K program for a year and a half now and he loves it. It’s a great half-day program that gives him a good balance of play and learning. My priorities for a pre-k program was half-day, small class size, good balance of play and learning, experienced teachers, and fun environment. Fit City kids checked all the boxes! The teachers are loving and understanding and I really feel secure when dropping him off and putting his care in their hands. The kids are also very sweet and get along.

We hosted my son’s Spider-Man-themed 4th birthday party at Fit City Kids, and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! The staff was absolutely fantastic, taking care of most of the setup in the party room with my decorations, food, drinks, and cupcakes. My guests kept commenting on how spotless the play space was, with staff actively sanitizing as the kids played. Cleanup was just as seamless. The staff handled almost everything, giving parents a chance to relax and mingle. Both the kids and parents had an amazing time. Fit City Kids is truly a hidden gem, and I highly recommend it for birthday parties!

We hosted my son and daughter's birthday party at Fit City Kids. The staff was so unbelievably accommodating and helpful. From when we first booked the party to the very end. The staff helped us with set up, they helped serve food, and cut cake and so much more! As parents, we could actually relax and enjoy the party! The staff and facility made for a very enjoyable for both children and parents!

The most boring fitness classes. I enjoy the water aerobics, but nothing ever changes- it’s always samey-samey. The dance fitness classes are boring and repetitive- I didn’t know dancing could be so boring. I wish there was a gym in this area with excellent water fitness and dance fitness.

I'm in treatment for medical reasons. I get acupuncture once a week. I have a trainer, and I use the gym facilities as well. I am so appreciative for my acupuncturist, Oleg. He really knows what he is doing, and he listens to me and tries to address each of my needs/symptoms. The gym has a great vibe. The equipment works. It is always clean & the staff are very friendly. I love my trainer, Karen. She's got a great knack for knowing what I need for that day's workout. She always encourages and helps me to move & strengthen my body. I'm in better health because of the opportunity to go to Galter. I just can't say enough good things about Galter.

My experience is there are phones everywhere and staff doesn't really care. Want to change in the locker room? Recording devices. Want to use a piece of equipment? Somebody has been sitting on it for 5 or 10 minutes staring at their phone The worst is they allow people to record themselves. The gym says they allow people to record their "form". As far as I'm concerned, that is code for Tik Tok. I told them I don't want to be in a video, they said don't walk in front of the camera. They are not inclusive. They make an effort to celebrate gay pride month but nothing else.

Good collection of equipments. Uses same brand as LA fitness for equipment. Cleanliness is above average. With the initiation charges and stuff, it comes out to 45$ per month. For that price, I would seek little more than this.

This is my go-to gym when I'm in Chicago. The staff is always friendly and the showers are always in working order, unlike at XSport. Although there isn't a pool or whirlpool, it's still a great location.

I would like to honor the manager, Larry at this gym, Larry has a great presence as the front leader of this gymnasium. The hospitality he exudes when you check in is exceptional. But what I want really highlight, is how Larry has put together a cleaning staff that is actually top professional exceptional. I’ve managed luxury hotels for over 30 years. I’ve managed the people who clean these hotels in the bathroom facilities. Larry has two guys here that can work in any major five star hotel in the whole country. They relentlessly clean the bathroom nonstop. They clean the stalls they clean the machines. But they don’t clean for just a few hours they clean nonstop. I’m very impressed by this. They are steps above the other gyms in the area. Keep it up , I want to say peace and love

Place works but that's all, it has the stuff you need and nothing else. Would recommend going to different location that has more. Update: I got my friend to do a 3 day trial, but we had some trouble getting it working. We talked to the manager, and he said he wanted an ID from my friend. My friend not having one because he still in school was like welp shit I don't got one. He was then vary rude and said yeah no you can not work out here without one. BTW I don't have an ID and have been working out there for well over 4 months as a member. Then me and my friend and I went back to the lobby where we tried to figure the problem with his email. We found the email with the QR code for the trial, scanned it, and were happy to then be let theough. 15 mins into the workout with my friend, the manger comes up vary rudely and tells us to get out. Both of us. He says we didn't come through him, so we can not work out. He was not nice or polite. He was not understanding and did not want to be... I just wanted to work out with my friend. Legit, if we never went to the manager, we would have never been stopped or had a problem. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth to be disregarded. Sorry for long read, but yeah.

Poor customer service. the company ruined my son's event and had absolutely no remorse and made no effort to correct the issue. My phone calls were ignored and I was hung up on by the event coordinator. They refused to give me information for a person above the manager. Today was supposed to be special but for the people that work at the facility it was nothing to them. I would advise anyone looking to have an event to go elsewhere. Go somewhere that has compassion and respects the community it serves.

Management dropped the ball somewhere. Waste of time leaving a message. They never return call. FYI, return phone call standard should be within 24 hours. Also, no one ever answers the phone. One can only assume that they are not aware the website does not provide answers for all questions. For a new facility, how did customer service get this bad so quickly? Please do better for the community. We deserve excellent customer service.

This location was my primary location while working in the area. Parking can be challenging first thing in the morning. I appreciate that they have a Total Body Enhancement. The locker room is huge and well-laid out. The free weights area is really cramped which leads to limited availability. I really enjoyed the music played here. The staff could be a bit more friendly.

The staff is always hospitable and the gym is always clean. The only thing I want more of is the Physical Therapy bike and the pectoral swing arm machine (You can take the bars and you can sit backwards and swing your arms.) Other than that, I love this gym.

I attended a Jujitsu tournament at this facility. It's nice and clean with easy parking. The only thing that was a bit confusing was the set up. Walking Straight into the place takes you to a weird setup of a large staircase that spirals up to several floors. It's easy to get lost in the setup.

2 big rooms on 2nd floor closed. They could absolutely add extra equipment so that it's not so packed with people in the gym waiting for machines. Way overbooked. Machines broken. Teenagers running around not working out. Big get-together area not a gym. No managers getting involved to address problems. I go here because I walk a 1/2 a block from my house. That's the only benefit and of course working out. Half the staff don't even greet you. Its like they hate being there. Beautiful building with enough space to make it perfect. An absolute money maker however , they have no pride in the place in how it's ran

As a business traveler I work out at many commercial gyms. I really liked my experience at this gym overall. The staff was nice and the equipment was clean. The one major frustration in this experience was the dumbbells and free weights. They travel all over the gym but not many people seem to put them back. If they to return the weights it’s to the wrong spot. On the huge wall of dumbbells with nearly two full sets of ranging from 5 to 100, less than 10 percent of the weight were in their designated spot. I’ve never been to a gym that was even 20 percent this disorganized. It made it super hard to workout effectively or find anything at all. As I travel it try to leave places I visit better than I found it. So in the spirit of that, I spent my rest periods reorganizing the entire wall of dumbbells. It probably added an extra 20 minutes to my workout. It would be my recommendation that your shutdown staff give the weights a once over every night before close and put everything back where it’s supposed to go. I think your customer satisfaction will go up significantly and you’ll be able to get your customers in and out faster. All the Best

I really want to like this gym but the dumbbells are scattered throughout the whole place. It is super frustrating especially when you are limited on time. As someone who has been to more than a handful of gym, I’ve never seen the dumbbell rack be so unorganized. It would be nice if the salesmen would help rectify this issue. I typically see them scrolling on their phone or socializing with members.
