I recently had the pleasure of watching my daughter participate in aerial gymnastics, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment she stepped onto the mat, her enthusiasm and passion for the sport were evident. The combination of strength, flexibility, and creativity showcased in her routines was truly impressive. I was amazed at how effortlessly she moved through the air, performing flips and spins with grace. The supportive atmosphere of the class allowed her to push her limits and grow in confidence with each session. Not only has aerial gymnastics helped her improve her physical abilities, but it has also fostered a sense of discipline and determination. I can see how much she enjoys the challenge and the camaraderie with her fellow gymnasts. Overall, I highly recommend aerial gymnastics for children. It is a fantastic way to stay active, build strength, and have fun!

This is a great family run business. The owners both run and participate in the training. Additionally they have well trained professional circus instructors to supplement the classes. I have a 7yo in the Areal class and a 4yo that comes to the drop-in circus-tumbling class and they both look forward to it each week.

Best Location ( easy to get to), the Best Set Up (never feels crowded), great equipment (more then what i need) , the place stays very clean and that's most important to me. Pump has the best personal training that I have experienced anywhere in my 35 years of gyms and trainers all over the globe. They even have a boxing ring. Clearly the best thing to happen to this community and definitely a dream come true for me.

Great gym for a variety of sports- basketball, boxing, football, weightlifting & yoga! Trainer John is especially gifted with working with children & youth. He cares so much about the community and seeing youth develop their talents to their fullest potential. My son started with John in the 7th grade and his senior year was awarded a full D1 Football scholarship.

7/7/24 - I travel for work and I use Gympass when I travel to find a gym nearby. This one didn’t have good reviews but it was close to my hotel so I went to check it out anyway. I’m glad I did and here is my review. Erik was at the front desk and when I told him it was my first time there, he asked if I wanted a tour. The tour went good, they have the equipment I enjoy using so I stayed. When I first arrived the gym smelled nice, but I did notice the weights were out of the racks as mentioned in other reviews, there was white powder on the floor in different areas. The cleaning solution is located at the entrance with towels and I noticed patrons keeping there bottles and towels with them as they used different equipment, which seems like they should use a clean towel for each machine. The gym should provide paper towels vs regular towels because that is not very hygenic. I did notice Erik around the gym picking up weights and cleaning up as I was working out. He did a great job as everything was in its place when I left. People that are complaining about the weights not being reracked, I think this has more to do with the customers than the staff as we are all grown and should clean up behind ourselves, but the staff should enforce this rule when they notice patrons doing so. Without consequences the same thing happens all the time. Overall, I enjoyed the gym and will use it while I’m here in this area. Photos posted below. 4 stars is because the white powder should have been cleaned off the floor by night shift. I arrived at 8am and Erik had to do all the cleaning.

Showed up to use a free trial at 7:45pm on 9/25/24. Couldn’t use the free trial because “it takes days to show in the system” after signing up. Okay, understandable. Can I buy a day pass then? No “because I’m shutting the computer down soon so I can’t sell you a day pass right now… come back tomorrow”. I’m good.

I go to the gym almost every day and whenever I see Erik he’s always so nice and open to answer any questions I have, he’s always on the move and making sure the gym is clean as I have not once been disappointed with the cleanliness of this establishment and can see why. Overall above and beyond care from the Erik.

Gym has been on a sharp decline since its rebrand. Equipment is constantly breaking and takes weeks to get repaired. Staff stays at the front desk on their phones or the computer instead of walking around cleaning, organizing and providing towels. Even their trainers don’t teach their clients to re-rack their weights. Only reason I haven’t left is because it’s 24 hrs and the family plan/ member add-on deals keep my monthly cost low.

I found this place on tik tok, I was looking for somewhere sacred and safe where I can be spiritual, get supplies, heal and more. Let me tell you I don't regret it one bit. Feb 2nd changed my life and perspective, Kaiya is a wonderful chaman she not only made me feel special but gave me words of life and confirmation while I'm going through a struggle. The Owner taught me how to properly dress a candle at the candle station which I appreciated and will use in my own practice. I also got to join the community pot luck which I really enjoyed while discussing the book recommended (the healing wisdom of africa). I plan to definitely be apart of this community I loved every minute and I also have somewhere I can purchase my tarot cards in person 💖 Overall I'm happy this is a black owned business I will spend my money carelessly in here everytime no DOUBT ABOUT IT !!

This place is NASTY and unsanitary. PF why are we paying an annual fee if y'all don't even clean this place??!!! At this point the department of health needs to be involved with how disgusting this place looks. This is only a few pictures but I can upload a picture of something new a day to prove my point of how gross this place looks. Floors filthy, I'm walking through the gym and my shoes are literally sticking to the floor.... WOW, Your customers deserve better. I'm probably canceling my membership for this reason.

The gym on 47th is a very nasty place I walked in and walked right back out. I didn't even feel comfortable putting my gym bag and it's plastic inside the locker. There's dirt buildup on the locker opening where you will put your lock at the bathrooms. Had tissue paper all over the toilet. The machines look like they have never been moved and having a tremendous amount of dust on them when I walked over to say you know. Just try to give it a chance. The machines looks filthy the walls. Disgusting. Even before you walk into the actual planet fitness part, there are leaves and spider webs and all kind of debris as you coming to the entrance. But I said maybe this part of the facility is not planet fitness is concerned but when I got into planet fitness it was pretty much the same. I don't know who the actual owner is of this particular site, but I've read the reviews. There are responses from whomever is in charge of responding to the reviews and some say please direct your comment to a different site, but at this point out of receiving all of these bad reviews, that should be enough for someone to come in and do some kind of major overhaul in this facility. I am absolutely sure being a businesswoman myself that you are losing a tremendous amount of business because you are in a prime location and I'm sure you are very convenient for a lot of us, but due to the physical appearance of this place, I will never come back to this location. I hope that all the criticisms are heard and taken care of. I pray that this place does better

My husband rejoined planet fitness for convenience. He brings me as his guest to workout in the mornings. We like the gym culture in the morning at planet fitness but the shower experience in the women’s locker room is awful. The water is not always hot. There is only one out of 3 working showers and the one shower that works, the light is out so it’s dark. There are no shower caddy’s to put your items. This issue has been ongoing for months! I wish they cared enough to fix these issues.

This is by far the dirtiest plant fitness I have ever been to. They did get rid of the urine smell they had last year but the equipment and floors are often filthy. Wall paper is falling off the walls, paint chipping all on the floor, broken equipment. All three stairmasters have been needing repair for at least a month. This place needs some help. Maybe better management. This location is going down hill fast!

Coming here always sets my week off perfectly. A friend of mine who lives locally told me about the gym and the trainers because she had such a wonderful experience. I chose to try out this gym for personal training even though it was about 20 min away from my job and my work. I am so glad that I did. Annie, the owner, offers amazing workouts that push your body in a healthy and safe way. She has always been mindful of my injuries and customized the sessions to make sure that you are still getting in a good workout. They stole the krabby Patty secret formula from me. (Picture in different location) got a grace pass from them. Front desk needs a raise. Super clean, but most people that go here are literally psychopaths (doctors/surgeons, Lawyers, business owners). It's basically like an adult college campus. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend if you have the money.

I don't think I can say anything bad about "LifeTime". It was clean, friendly staff and great amenities. They have a snack room and outdoor rooftop sitting. For those with kids, you have no excuse. They have a kids area(babysitting). Afterwork working out, you can visit the spa: hot tub, sauna, steam room, and the cold(ice) pool. You can even have a shower and blow dry your hair. Then, your back on the road

This newly added location in Chicago, belonging to the Lifetime brand, is truly exceptional. The gym floor's vast expanse is impressive and magnificent, featuring all the standard Lifetime sections and more. Additionally, there's an indoor and outdoor pool available for an extra fee, and the club remains open 24 hours in Gold Coast Chicago. The views from both the gym floor and the pool are splendid. Conveniently, there's a Whole Foods store on the ground floor, making it a comprehensive facility. However, there are some drawbacks. During weekend mornings, the gym floor can get incredibly crowded, often dominated by college groups or unknown gatherings, which can be bothersome for those trying to use the machines and bars. While they offer amenities like a cold plunge, sauna, and steam room, there's a need for better signage to educate members about proper behavior, such as not leaving towels everywhere. Furthermore, it's important for members to rinse or shower before using the hot tub or cold plunge, as wearing underwear or sweat-soaked sport shorts can introduce unwanted elements into the water. This practice can compromise the water quality, potentially remaining unchanged for an extended period of time.

Hands down my all time favorite lifetime fitness location (and I’ve been to MANY), and not just for Chicago. I went to this place over 15 years ago when it used to be Ballys. Now Gym is renovated, including lockers. Floor is left the same and bathroom are still the same. I signed up because I thought everything was new and clean. Bathrooms are not, tiles were painted over through out the bathroom, weak water in the shower. I expected to see everything new after all the work honestly. Hopefully it will be soon. Great gym set up though. Good equipment

This is my local gym, and I love working out here. The staff is great, and equipments are brand new! However, there are a couple of downsides. First, there are no dry paper towels available for members. While I understand the disinfectant wipes are provided for cleaning equipment, dry paper towels should also be available in the restroom and shower areas. It’s frustrating not having basic essentials like these. Additionally, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all, and despite complaints, no one seems to be addressing the issue. Fixing these small but significant problems would greatly enhance the experience!

Overall this is a really good intermediate gym if you aren’t looking for anything specialty. What I like is everything always works, it’s clean, well staffed, and has just about everything possible to get a decent workout in a short time. It’s a little crowded and sardined canned which is expected in Chicago and it’s January at a gym. Still the best value for any gym around. One only significant downside is there isn’t much of a “community” feel there but it’s a sign of the times not representative of the gym. Good people just not the camaraderie of a smaller private gym.

Definitely not as good as ZIP fitness though for as little as $10 a month with what do you expect. They simply do not have as much free weights as Zip Fitness once had which has me looking at other options for a gym membership. The parking lot is huge and you can always find parking. Hours have improved from Zip Fitness. A good gym for someone who is a beginner to an intermediate.

The facilities by far are the nicest of any bathhouse I’ve been to. 3 levels, 3 different darkrooms, a huge steam room and the most wonderful hot tub filled with nooks and hideaways. We visited over 2 days on Friday and Saturday night. Friday night the line was down the sidewalk, Sat maybe half the length but much slower. I do wish there was a more discreet entrance. Instead we had to stand on the sidewalk and listen to the occasional snide comment from passersby. Highly recommend getting a larger room if it’s available. The bed in a standard is too cramped, especially if you’re with a partner. Not the cleaning crew’s fault as I saw them constantly working, but some of the guys here need to learn better hygiene. The bathroom stalls and toilets were usually covered in unsanitary water, and my time in the hot tub was ruined on the second night when someone crapped in it. Housekeeping was on top of it when I informed them. Get it together guys! My biggest recommendation would be to give some special entrance for VIP members. It’s got to be awkward shoving your way past all the guys in the standard line and having to explain why you are cutting. I look forward to becoming a member when I move to Chicago soon!

Went for a quick night here for the first time was rejected at the door because of my bag. What made it bad was I had just spent over 5 hours on a train to go to steamworks for the first time. Had to leave and wait outside of union station for 4 to get back on the train to head home. The question is this place even worth making the trip again? So $180.00, 14 hours of my life wasted. I also see that they have nothing to say about negative reviews. Maybe they can say something, like sorry about your experience, anything would be good, but I am sure they are a bunch of witches that work there.

Been here a couple times and never had a problem. Im not sure what people expect when drug users make things tough for businesses like these. Leave your shit at home or your hotel, come in, pay, be patient and say hi - works every time. Staff have always been decent and check in relatively quick. I cant imagine all the shit they have to put up with from entitled, drunk/high men in the middle of the night. Ive never had a problem and always got off at least twice. The vending machines need to take cards because getting poppers inside is unreliable. Otherwise, glad these relics of the past are still around to enjoy.

For what it is, this place is amazing. It is a gay bathhouse, so this review assumes you have been to more than one of these types of facilities and understand what is required for these to exist in the modern era... The facility is huge; the wet area is expansive, including the craziest steam room and hot tub you will ever see, as well as a giant open shower with great views; there are also "group showers" on each floor and a dry sauna up near the gym. Much of the facility is various sized "private" rooms, but you can plan to just get a locker and still have a great time. Either way you get a key to lock your stuff up while you cruise around in a towel (or whatever you want), and you can leave valuables in a lockbox when you check in. You can swap your towel for another near the front desk at any time. There are many common areas you can hang out in, and the entire facility is clothing optional (except the gym, shoes and bottoms required). The only serious rule seems to be don't be an asshole/don't press anyone; there's lots of "implied consent" in situations like this, but you can plan to see some fun shows and do some fun stuff no matter who you are or what you look like. We went on a Tuesday and a Thursday around a holiday, and the crowd was great both nights. It gets bigger the later it gets, more so on weekends, and from what we have heard it is insane during events, so plan accordingly. The building is unassuming and our check-in took like two minutes, but I imagine it is a process on a busy night. Went with my partner and we had a glorious time. There is a certain tinge of disappointment when you realize a lot of the crowd is sort of endlessly moving in circles waiting for their prince charming (who shares their seven obscure kinks), but if you let go of pretenses about who you "should" be interacting with in a place like this, you end up having a great time. Lots of folks are exhibitionists here, and many folks are willing to participate in anything with no exceptions. That being said, if you come here with your mind set on some specific thing, you're probably going to have a crappy time. THEY HAVE VERY CLEAR POLICIES ABOUT WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT BRING ON THEIR SITE. Stop with your messy moaning that they didn't let you bring your chest of drawers, or asked you to reveal what was hiding under your six coats as you check in, they're doing it for everyone's safety. When we visited, we literally brought flipflops, our ID, our phone, and cash. There are free condoms everywhere, and vending machines with (overpriced) stuff you might need. Their costs are also clearly posted, and their capacity is limited... If you're going to be put out by spending $40-50 on an "adult night out" this place isn't for you. If you're going to have qualms about grown men acting like heathens in a place like this, again, not for you. If you're going to complain about an underpaid staff, trying their best with a bunch of adult man pigs going at it - at a place like this - then again, not for you. The staff were great and they had guys on every floor hustling to keep things clean. That being said, the facility is NOT accessible in any modern way, and it's often quite gross in some areas and "unsafe" in many parts (poor lighting, random floor elevation changes, unmopped greasy puddles, sloppy bottoms shitting in the hot tub, etc.) Like all fun things in life, you have to be careful and watch your own ass. The other guests are absolutely the worst part, but that's also why you are there.

I came here a few times and always had to deal with some kind of inconvenience. There’s rarely more than one person checking people in, so you’re standing in line forever when there’s only two or three people checking in. I sometimes come hoping to use the gym, but half the time, it’s closed for some random reason. Third floor has some cool spots, but it’s also closed half the time. Even after calling and asking them about accessibility, they assure me those areas would be open, only to find out they’re not once I’m inside. One more issue; this isn’t necessarily their fault, but they need to be on top of things like cleanliness. The steam room always stinks and I’m always watching my step when I get into the showers because, guess what, you might step on something. I will now only come here occasionally when I used to go in every other weekend.
