Just stumbled upon this and loved it! Great place to stretch between flights. Nice and quiet with great solitude. Loved it! Thank you to the airport for providing this.

Surprised to see this and after hearing my flight would be delayed 3 hours I sought out an activity and went here. A family with children were in the room when I arrived probably hoping to have the space for the little ones to play. They quickly left though I didn't say anything. There were no wipes for the mats. Thankfully I had one from my prior flight. While doing some yoga stretching and breathing an attendant came in to refill the wipes. Strange coincidence. The flat panel tv was off so there were no images or soothing sounds other than the sound of AC running. Several people popped their heads in but no one else came in. A good 25 minutes well spent. Search for a YouTube video for whatever yoga routine you need.

Had a long layover and was absolutely delighted to find this room. The soft music and fresh air brought in canceled out the outside noise. I would make a long layover on purpose to have time to use this room again!

A busy airport, hectic travel day, a little too much time between flights... Guess we could have a beer. Or walk into the yoga room at Midway. It's just what you want: quiet, mats, tranquil music. The rules are posted on the wall, cell phones are silenced and the shoe rack has charging stations for your phone. There is a large security panic button on the wall. Though I've used the room several times and it's always been up and up and well worth it. I wish all airports had a little yoga room. Enjoy!

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed to walk past this yoga room in Midway Airport near Terminal B and the USO room. I went in and found four people using the room to relax and work out the kinks that travel often causes. The room, while small, is thoughtfully arranged and appointed. A bench just inside the door gives an easy way to remove your shoes. Across the room, a cubby system holds your shoes and small items near a basket with several yoga mats neatly rolled, and a notice on the wall outlines some ground rules for the room. A floor to ceiling mirror along one of the long walls is exactly what I expect to see in a yoga room. Finally, the frosted glass in the door and window provide natural lighting as well as privacy for those in the yoga room. The designers of this room have excelled in helping travelers find a bit of peace in a usually hectic place.

I went to the LA fitness on Foster Ave for the 1st time. It was pretty nice!! It is a newer gym! The equipment was in good condition. I like how the people at the front desk greet you hi and bye! The gym was clean also! You can tell the people cleaning the gym take pride in their work and have attention to detail. Making sure the place stays looking great! LA Fitness took over XSport. I saw some regulars from the Elston XSport over here now. Overall a great experience! Will return! I do wish the showers were a touch bigger or had movable shower heads.

So many broken machines, the place is incredibly overcrowded at all times, and the staff is useless unless they’re trying to sell you something. On top of all that, it’s expensive. If you’re reading this and thinking about opening a gym near this one—do it. Seriously. People will flock to your gym because everyone is beyond fed up with this place. To top it off, their responses to reviews are a joke. All they ever say is, “Thank you so much for the review!” without actually addressing any of the issues people are raising. It’s just another greedy gym that managed to go downhill in less than two years. What a disappointment. Shame on them.

At peak hours, the place looks like a rave concert, way too crowded for my taste. I guess that's what happens when you eliminate your competition in the area. Based on that, only i might have to start looking for alternatives. Overall, the gym is nice - very clean, people are friendly, equipment is good and maintained, and sometimes they'll even give free smoothies trying to make you forget that the place is way too crowded 😄. My recommendation is to increase the schedule so you'll be able to accommodate some of the new customers and find a way to calculate the foot traffic for each machine. This way, you'll know what gym equipment needs to be added if needed or replaced if it's not used. Some of the machines, even at peak hours, are not used at all ; they just take space for nothing. Hope everyone will have a great year!

Working with Sofia, personal trainer, at LA was fun and empowering! I started working with her in June of 2024 - almost 2 years since I had my kid. I hadn’t worked out in years and was nervous about starting again. She got to know me, my goals, and my general worries about my health. She helped me feel comfortable while still pushing me to increase my strength. Sofia is a gem! Could not recommend her enough, especially for people looking to get back to working out after having a kid.

This gym used to be amazing. We joined over a year ago and had great workouts until the recent Xsport merger. Likely will cancel membership. I wouldn’t recommend this gym anymore. Now this gym is essentially unusable. It is incredibly crowded at all times. They have eliminated the nearby competition so there’s really not any other options in this area.

Came here with my Dance company to work on some acrobatic tricks. The space was so nice and clean. One thing that set this space apart was how clean it was and it actually had a very pleasant smell as well (if you know you know). We’ve been to lots of different gyms and practice spaces before but this was definitely one of the most welcoming experiences we’ve ever had! It was very easy to get signed in, the other coaches that were there explained where was, and let us know to reach out to them if we needed anything at all. Highly recommend!

This is some of the best circus training you can get in Chicago. The coaches are wonderful, knowledgeable and create a tight, supportive and kind community with which to learn and grow. As someone who has worked in circus for over 20 years and seen a lot of circus centers, I can't recommend CCDC enough!

I have gone in as a guest on a few occasions. My experience was very positive. They have a variety of equipment, good music, clean environment. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Dennis, the manager, does a great job and Nick ,staff member, was very accommodating. There's a good supply of cleaning equipment to use on the equipment before and after you work out. Some equipment may need replacement soon but that is to be expected when there is so much usage. If feel like that should be addressed by corporate and not fall on the staff. Overall, a great environment to work out in.

SH!TTY gym! Unclean, equipment is not taken care off, kids who don’t pay the membership come in and out and it’s unfair to those who DO pay. This place is always PACKED. This gym should not be 24hrs if anyone can just come in and out. Bathrooms are disgusting. Yoga mats are disgusting. Padding and handle grips on machines are nearly nonexistent. How is this place still open?!

They charge you 15.00$ if you let someone else in which is understandable. They send you the video also to prove you let them in. They charged me 15.00$ for letting someone in, but the video shows otherwise. I came in, door closed and 10-20 seconds later someone else came in. I did not let them in, but they still charged me 15.00$?. This gym used to be a good place to work out, but lately it has gone downhill. I have seen multiple people let others in and treat the gym like they own it. There’s homeless people coming and going as they please. I’d recommend either going to 71st CFX, cancel membership or work out at home.

I am astonished that a gym such as this is still in business. During my time at this gym I have experienced many danger hazards and unhygienic standards. To start I believe that a gym should maintain the cleanliness of their establishments to the best of their abilities. When you enter the gym restrooms be prepared to walk into one of the most foul smelling and dirtiest restrooms. To top it off the gym has managed to not maintain a certain standard for this situation. Next is the gym equipment. For the most part the equipment is not entirely clean but you can manage a good workout. The down side is weights are limited in my opinion. And the bars and bench pads are damaged. Many machines lack the material on the handles. Plus side they have kettlbells and turf. Be warry of walking barefoot in the restrooms have heard the most outrageous stories.

With in the last 3 years, this gym has really declined. It’s always dirty, the bathrooms smell horrible and are never clean, the turf patch is moldy, there’s trash everywhere, and there is a lot of defective equipment that doesn’t get cycled out, like bent barbells. On top of that, there’s always high school kids smoking and vaping in the bathrooms, and sometimes they’re wrestling in the middle of the gym. The workers seem to not care because I never see them at least address the smoking or the wrestling. As if the underage smoking in a public gym wasn’t bad enough, Sometimes, if you go early enough in the morning, there’s a homeless person in the gym. It’s just an overall horrible gym at this point. I wish I was making up this stuff.
