Weights are never put back where they belong. Also, can the company do something about the rust on this outdoor sunroof? It is disgusting to be in this place! The first thing I noticed in the sauna today was a pamper left on the bench. Management told me they'd take care of the issue. I returned after an hour to find it still there.

My experience at this location is wonderful. They have good customer service, Is very clean, bathrooms etc. The only thing that I am in disappointment is that they don’t have enough machines for hip abduction.(They have only one for each different part of your leg). A lot of people waiting for these machines.🧐2 days ago I waited for30 mnts….🙁not good. Other than that is good. But disappointed about these machines not having enough.

They were supposed to be open at 5 AM on New Year’s Eve Day. I got there at 6:45am and the doors were locked, with a few individuals parked having also expecting it to be open. At least have signage with current hours of operation so people arent waiting an hour ALSO, they have equipment thats hardly used. They should focus on investing in more of what people want and less in filling the space with random equipment. This is LA Fitness… need to step it up. 📈

The gym has been better than ever! The cleaning crew cleans nonstop and what a big difference. I'm impressed with how hard they work! I'm happy with they great job they do, and the gym never looked better!

They have bed bugs, found this little guy in one of the lockers (well fed). I told the receptionists at the front desk who told their manager, they seemed concerned but who knows if they’ll fix it. Reading a review from a year ago that also mentioned them having bed bugs, I won’t be back.

I have access to multiple gyms thru my health insurance so I’ve been to most, if not all, the chain gyms in the Midway area. I can tell you Blink Midway is by far the cleanest, most organized gym of all. They have the newest equipment and machines of all. They are smaller but have everything you possibly need to get in or stay in shape and improve your health. Did I mention how clean this place is? The staff is always cleaning! Other gyms in the area I’m hesitant to touch the old, dirty equipment even after wiping it down. Thanks to the crew that keeps this place clean and organized!

This location use to be great but nowadays theres always something broken , or the water filter doesn’t get changed when the water machine is clearly red. 3 Stair masters have been down for I don't know how long and no one fixes them when there is only a max of 5 of them . I hate coming here now and prefer to go to the north riverside location farther away than this one.

There are 10 piecs of equipment that are in need of repair. (Machines and cables) The water filter hasn't been replaced in 2 months. Membership is $7 dollars more than when it opened yet the gym quality has gone down. Service has been meh at best. This place feels like it's rapidly deteriorating.

Been coming here consistently for almost three months and I love this gym! It is always clean and the people at the front are friendly. My only reason for one less star is for how small it is. Even when not packed, you have to wait up to 30-40 minutes for a machine because most times, there is only one machine of that sort. Wish they could expand it a bit more and add a second floor.

One of my fav gyms to go to. Very clean, very friendly staff. The new manager has fun and energetic personality that's very welcoming. Destiny and Jesus are very welcoming in the mornings and I see them always moving around cleaning.

I was visiting Chicago for the week and needed a gym. Joe was incredible! You can clearly see his passion for the community he has built and he is very hospitable. Joe was kind enough to show me around- I even had a few people come up to me and welcome me after. The community at this gym is nothing short of phenomenal and the equipment is impeccable. I have zero hesitation recommending this gym and will continue to come here anytime I find myself in the area. My only request is you get a Duffalo bar!! Maybe next time :)

When you first join Joe the owner takes the time to personally walk you through the facility and show you all the equipment and amenities. One key factor I love is that there is 24hr access for members with a fob and it has been nice being able to use the gym extremely early and avoid the crowd. I have to mention unfortunately I will not be in Chicago for a year due to the military, but Joe and the rest of iron mine staff were very helpful and worked with me. Not any gym takes the time for their members, over all I will miss this gym but I am definitely coming back once I’m back from military business.

I can't recommend this gym enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by both the staff and the members. The community here is absolutely incredible, everyone is supportive, friendly, and always encouraging you to do your best. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, this is the place for you. The gym is top-notch, clean, and well-maintained. If you're looking for a gym that feels like a second home with an amazing group of people, this is the place to be!

I don’t think words could even begin to explain how kind the community of iron mine gym has been. I have been a member for about 2 months and I am constantly in awe that such an amazing and uplifting community of gym members exist. Joe has done an amazing job of not only curating a great selection of equipment but has truly made his gym a place members can feel comfortable and welcome in. Coming in each day has been a highlight of moving to the area.

As a primary cardio addict, I decided to join Iron Mine with the hopes of finally stepping out of my comfort zone. Strength training was mostly a foreign concept to me. I’d been a member at other various gyms, without ever branching out in my routine. There is definitely something to be said about the energy and overall community of Iron Mine that makes you want to become the better version of yourself. For the first time, I felt motivated by those around me to tap into my own strength and see what could possibly come of it. As a female, you will NOT feel intimidated here. You will, in fact, feel welcome and eager to see yourself grow. 24/7 access and no hidden fees or hurdles is really rare! Take the leap, you wont regret it.

I just called here and the front desk was so rude. How may I help you? She said I said is this the Stony Island avenue YMCA? How can I help you? She said again and I said I just asked you. Is this the Stony Island avenue address? And again she said how can I help you in a Stern voice just as rude as all outdoors. I would suggest they replace her immediately if not sooner

They do not answer their phones at all. They cancelled classes to further notice and dont return call when left messages trying to find out when they will resume. One staff member/aqua aerobic instructor is very unpleasant! I was gonna bring a crew from job to take the class but we will definitely try another location for the class next session.

My third grade class attended the Red Clay Dance Company's matinee performance for Black History Month. The pacing of the performance was wonderful and kept our students involved and engaged throughout. They came back to the class excited to learn more! The movements learned continued on the bus and into the classroom. They truly inspired our students. Highly recommend.

Red Clay Dance Studios - first off the space is gorgeous. It has been built with the intention to have full access by the community and the studios are top tier. The sound system is amazing and the spaces are great for rehearsals, self-taping and workshops. I am super grateful to be a part of the In the Making program at Red Clay. The studio time I use is essential on my artistic path.

Red Clay Dance Company is a vibrant space where artivism truly thrives! The clean, well-lit studios provide an inspiring environment for movement and creativity. The staff is warm and supportive, fostering a sense of community from the moment you walk in. Their performances are powerful, blending artistry and activism to tell impactful stories. The classes are equally exceptional—Afro Cardio Drumming is an electrifying workout, and the Kizomba dance class offers a fun, engaging way to explore new movement styles. Red Clay is more than a dance company; it’s a hub for creativity, community, and meaningful change. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience at Vaunt Gym! Michael went above and beyond by making me a protein shake after my workout, and it was exactly what I needed. The shake was perfectly blended, delicious, and packed with just the right amount of nutrients to fuel my recovery. Michael’s customer service was top-notch, and he really made me feel taken care of. Highly recommend Vaunt for both the great workouts and the fantastic post-gym care! Five stars all the way!

In 2018 my plane flight got canceled for 3 days. I was 19 at the time and loved fitness(still do💪🏼). I walked to this gym from the airport and explained my situation. I didn’t have any money, or any place to stay, or get warm(this was the middle of January) and the front desk guy hooked me with a free couple day passes so I could stay out of the elements during their open-hours. This gym will always have a special place in my memories and one day I can’t wait to go back! The vibe and environment were dope. The equipment was top notch and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Went on New Year’s Eve to check out this place since every other gym was closed, called prior to going to see if they offered day passes which they did. Once I arrived I thought this gym is very clean, when I told the staff I was there for a day pass made me sign and pay never gave me anymore information. Locker rooms are on a floor below and was totally lost felt very left out and unwelcome I found out after asking a stranger since the staff was to busy talking to someone and he led me to the right place. Overall very clean place and decent amenities but very unwelcoming staff and community. wouldn’t recommend to new gym goers.

I was staying in the area for a weekend and was able to get in 2 great workouts at Vaunt. Saturday I participated in Barbell Basics and felt amazing to do some Olympic moves again. Lauren is a phenomenal coach. Sunday I did a full body because I wanted to use the machines. The equipment is top line. This is one of the best equipped and motivational gyms I’ve been at. Seriously thank you for a memorable visit. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

No Kids allowed. This is crazy, especially for single parents or parents in general. Horrible horrible. A decision like this affects an entire family and I can say it personally affected the dynamics in mine. I have the option of looking for alternatives but my issue here is that I shouldn't have to. How do you encourage people to come to the gym if they need to also pay for baby sitters?

Me and my friend just decided to check out the Planet Fitness. Upon exntrance Tania was very helpful after helping me set up my guest pass my friend and i walked around the gym and we decided to go to a different location , due to construction being done and the machines we needed were being used. As we were leaving we saw tania and her coworker looking at us and pointed at my friend and I, we had assumed we left something because we saw them pointing and staring we didnt think much of it but as we got into the car they were just staring out the window at us. we looked around and noticed nobody else was around us , so we went back because we didn’t know what was going on. We went inside and respectfully asked, “if there was an issue”, the coworker girl started to say “ I don’t know is there, you’re not the only person in the world” with the nastest attitude while holding her fist in her hands. if or there was an issue, the staff should’ve addressed us instead of staring at us while we got into our car. and if there wasn’t an issue, why did she give hostile answer as if she wanted to provoke something? Nonetheless, Tanya was very lovely thank you for all your help. Your coworker should learn some customer seevice tips from you.
