We had a magical experience last night at the Nutracker. The show was spectacular, but we knew that beforehand. It’s Ballet Austin after all! The thing is that we made a mistake and bought our tickets from a third party. We were told the emailed tickets would arrive the day before, but we never got them. We went to the ticket office, and were told we had to contact the seller. It wasn’t until then that we realized that we hadn’t purchased directly. To make a long story short, the tickets that we purchased had been canceled by Ballet Austin long ago because the seller violated their no-resell policy. Of course, we were never told, and were facing the possibility of missing the performance. But the staff at the ticket office were incredibly gracious. They explained what happened, asked us to report this to our credit card company, provided written evidence, and gave us two excellent complimentary tickets. It is refreshing to deal with organizations that empower their employees to the point of making decisions like this. We are incredibly grateful for the way they handled it. That’s how you build a loyal customer base. Thank you Ballet Austin for a wonderful experience.

Unless you have small children, do not go to a 2:00 p.m. performance of the Nutcracker. Ushers did a terrible job of policing drunk patrons and screaming children. Dancing was pretty good. Music was great.

Giving up on purchasing tickets for The Nutcracker. Plenty of available seats near the front but it wouldn't let us leave a single seat in that row. Then we selected seats farther away and every time we were in checkout our selection disappeared from my cart. Called and they were unable to help insisting that tickets must be purchased online. Very disappointing. I hope they keep their word and don't expose my account information as many organizations do these days.

We usually go to the JCC center. Came here today for a make up class. And the low rating is ONLY for their parking situation. There's almost no free parking on site (may be about 10). It took me 20 minutes to find parking at the Google parking garage next lane, which is equally horrible. You have to be careful driving up and down the parking garage as the space is extremely tight and some people drive like they're on the Ferrari track. I'm never coming back to this location on a weekday

Im so happy i found this place! Who knew at the age of 50 I'd be on pointe!! I have followed the progression from absolute beginners workshop to drop in classes and now pointe. There is no other place i could ever have done this with. A shout out to Miss Lucy! She is an incredible instructor and human. She always makes you feel at home and is always encouraging!

Coming from the Gold’s gyms in Houston to this one was definitely a night and day difference. The machines are definitely pretty old, dirty (couldn’t clean them because most of the cleaning stations were empty) and a good amount of them were out of order. But they do have a good selection of equipment which I appreciate. If they got the upgrade like all of the locations in Houston this gym would be AMAZING!

Located in downtown Austin, this is one of the best spots to workout at. Clean facility with a top notch General Manager and a great professional staff, that is warm and welcoming to the gym members. I would know as I am a former staff member of this Gold’s Gym (2022 & 2023 to early 2024), and could see the complete difference (that was so needed) in which the new team has brought to Gold’s Gym. The previous GM and staff, had no standards set, some front desk personnel would let certain members workout in the gym after operation hours, some trainers didn’t fulfill the workout plans that they promised their clients, some employees just showed up to get paid, screwed up the parking situation for both members and the Gold’s organization, and did little to nothing but complain, bicker and gossip about who was sleeping with who. The current GM (William aka Mike) and staff are leagues above what I saw back in 2022. The atmosphere and energy of Gold’s on 6th is inspirational and beautiful to see. The GM has banned disrespectful and ignorant former members that had no business being at the gym in the first place, as well as fired or let go of former staff members who were more of a liability than they were an asset to Gold’s Gym. As certain trash staff members left, a lot of the trashy clients followed right along with them (not surprising), and thank goodness. Whether you’re an Austinite, or a visitor looking for a great spot to do your workout at, this is the place. Gold's Gym 6th Street....Five stars! And highly recommended.

Great gym to work out if you are traveling. Bought a week pass and was very satisfied. Great modern equipment and clean gym. Very spacious with good lighting. Didn't feel to crowd either in the morning or late evening . Front desk very friendly and helpful.

We do like this golds gym, it does get busy but there are plenty of slow times during the day, so that's when we go. Front desk peeps are awesome!

The gym itself isn’t bad but managements a joke. I called earlier to see the gym for the first time and I think I spoke to the manager who was pretty helpful. He told me to come in, get my parking validated and take a tour. But when I got in, the staff did not want to help me at all. They initially refused to validate my parking despite me saying the manager, who I name dropped, explicitly told me they would. After 3 different ways of saying the same thing they finally did. I did a quick tour and asked the guy about any extra amenities they offered. Dude was absolutely clueless and could tell he didn’t give two shits about my interest. Will not be coming back

lifetime is a good club, it’s always been clean and the staff has always been great to work with. I’ve been coming here for two years and love this location. It’s down the street from where I live and easy to get to. During peak hours it is busier than it should be but I just go outside of those hours anyway. To the people complaining about the water jug get over it, there are water fountains and any normal serious gym goer is going to have a water bottle or not care about a jug. It’s crazy what people complain about. During peak hours it is very busy and the gym is too small for the crowd, outside of peak hours the gym is always fine. To the guy complaining about 4 am and super late hours. It doesn’t make sense because even at 5am or 10pm there are like 10-15 people in the gym. They’re always very good about saying if something is gonna be closed. Like the shower thing, I’m pretty sure we were notified a month out about that and they were apologetic about it. The gym has always been clean, I’ve never thought the locker rooms were disgusting. People comparing to planet fitness are crazy. This place and the people that go here probably wouldn’t step in planet fitness. It is expensive compared to the larger clubs, but it does come with its perks. You can practically go to any club in the country and definitely the others in austin. If you’re complaining about the dues, then this probably isn’t the club for you anyway, go to planet fitness or golds where you belong, the Lifetime and us members don’t want to deal with you either. Im excited for the south Lamar location, but hope they keep this spot open as well.

You should just close this location and stop embarrassing yourself. If you call yourself elite gym with high standards then provide highest standard facilities. I pay high premium exactly for great amenities otherwise regular gym will do just fine and comparing to this location they are beating you by far.. I hope management reads this but membership becomes completely overpriced when considering what you get in return. P.s. they don’t even have shower room.

No spin classes here, locker room badly needs an upgrade and cleaning, weight floor and location are good though. I had intended to keep lifetime as I live between nyc/austin but this option isnt great. I’ll cancel as soon as I leave this neighborhood and just do equinox again, its basically the same price but nicer and more classes.

My things go missing at this gym and management doesn’t care to check the cameras and get back to me to see what happened. Water cooler always empty. Soap in restroom is extremely diluted, like they’re trying to save on spending money on actual soap. $250+ for Planet fitness standards.

I used to be a member here at lifetime and I did have a lovely experience. I now do various workouts around town or on my own. My favorite part of lifetime was finishing my workout and getting my almond butter shake from Javony (thank you Javony, you’re the best) I will workout on my own or go to Barry’s or wherever actually then walk to lifetime just for my almond butter shake because nothing else around town compares. So delish and I also just love seeing Javooooony!

The HIIT classes with Ashlee on Tuesday and Thursday are the best!!!! I really love to swim laps in the indoor pool they have and also take advantage of the steam room! Overall, I’ve had nothing but good experience here at the YMCA. 😊

Wow! Check out this YMCA NOW! The best equipment and deal in gym-rich (and pricey) Austin. They completed a huge upgrade from top to bottom: State of the art equipment and flooring. Love the staff. Check out the photos. I’ll update as it goes.

Seems like a good deal if you're young enough for the young deal, and overpriced otherwise, but it's close to me. Staff has been nice. The breakdown of equipment is non-optimal. The ratio of stairclimbers to rowing machines to treadmills is off. Missing some kinda obvious pieces of equipment for a gym this size like a bicep or tricep machine. On the plus side, they have a steam room that gets decently hot, a sauna (wasn't that hot the one time I tried it and thus went to steam room), a jacuzzi and pool, etc. It's nice if you live nearby or also a good deal if you can get the young people pricing.

Good Morning Everyone! I hope y'all are chilling out & enjoying your weekend. All I will say is this....Townlake YMCA. I belong to 24 Hour Fitness....have been a member for a few...yes, um, a couple of decades!!! 👈🏾😳😳🫢🫢😯😯😲 From Sunny California, To Las Vegas, Here in TEXAS.. & "ONLY BY GODS GRACE," Oregon in the near future. However... One thing I have dreamed of, hoped & prayed I'm living. All the trauma im living with & Walking My Way: Day by Day....Through It; The Trauma.....to Be living 3 minutes from the LADYBIRD Lake Trail; is one of the most Truly Beautiful Experiences. I walk every single day, & the problem is I Am So Very Deeply Overwhelmed By The Anghts Of Hate & Racism....I am wqlking further each day but, the Arthritis In My Feet Is getting worse...from the extra walking. It's A Double Edged Sword. 🤺 Walk to heal, more undeserved intended tort & emotion distress....more walking. Help!! (???)💔 Happy & Grateful but, the 55 & up complex I live in....Is An Unbelievable Nightmare. I'm doing all I can to Force Change but; its taking its toll.

This recreational place, which contains gyms and swimming pools for all ages, is a clean and safe place for the family, hot and clean water, and a safe closed place for the safety of children. It has a jacuzzi, swimming pools and gymnasiums for slimming and building muscle. They have programs for all ages at competitive prices supported for families with limited income. I recommend it to all families and individuals who want cleanliness and reasonable price

I don’t review things often but after being a member here for two years, I wanted to say a huge thank you to my favorite gym. I have previously been a member at a lot of gyms around town having moved around Austin a good bit. By far Castle Hill is my favorite. Why? Simple reason- I feel like I fit in and I’m comfortable here. That’s really the best compliment I can pay them. From Derra who works in the spa to Clark’s personal training and Josh’s cycle strength class (which I think is on hiatus right now), every bit of my experience with this gym has been amazing. I struggle with feeling comfortable in a lot of gyms for a variety of reasons, but I have been able to make significant progress on my personal workout goals here. If you’re wondering whether this is the place for you, trust me - it is. Hope to see you there!

Been a member here for a little over 6 months and I only have good things to say. The gym is clean and well kept, it’s never full so you can always get a machine, and the staff are very nice. I went to LifeTime for many years and Castle Hill Fitness is way better if you need the gym essentials.

As a newbie to the fitness world, Castle Hill has been so great to help me work on my goals! I’ve never been very athletic, and pretty intimidated by gyms and working out in general. I mostly take classes, which works great for me because they offer a ton. My favorites are the Castle Barre and WERK with Sabrina. Many of the classes utilize Class Pass as well, so that’s an option as well. I don’t feel weird going in, I love all the different class and equipment options, and it’s nice to have a sauna in the locker room. Pop in for a tour, and they will usually let you come in for a trial workout!

I can't speak more highly of Castle Hill Fitness - a true Austin gem of a gym! The facilities are extensive, the classes offered are great and the staff is truly the best part. Special shoutout to Ramsay, Cassie and Gregory for their awesome pilates classes!

Potentially the best gym in Austin… The life blood of what makes Castle Hill Fitness so special is the hard working and dedicated staff who show up every single day with a great attitude. I’ve been a member for over 7 years, and it’s been my favorite gym in Austin during this time. I have to say this though, upper management is letting the employees and members down. The trainers are constantly being blindsided by not having the equipment or marketing they depend on to develop a client base. Management also refuses to answer any emails or inquiries from long standing members. In fact, it’s extremely rare to see anyone from management actually enter the building at all! During my time there I can recall seeing them locked in an office a total of 3 times. I even knocked on the door and was waved off. I really hope they can turn it around. I’ll update in 5 weeks. Well, I guess this is what it takes to get a response. Never got an email, but thanks for responding on google maps.

it is really a disaster what happens in the gym in the new management should take more attention to these details usually they are doing repairs should put some precaution so that people know that they are in danger, second we do not always have soap in the showers I think it is necessary to take a good inventory of your products so that we can always have soap and paper point number 3 the pool is closed and usually the jacuzzi always dirty in the water of the lake of Austin seems to be cleaner. Point number 4 the sauna does not work on some occasions I think they need a good technician. Point number 5 the showers some showers the pressure is very bad I think they need new ones point number 6 I think they need to talk to the majority of their staff they have an unpleasant behavior I think they should tell them that they are service providers they think that we eat their service I think they are a little wrong. They are always busy on the phone. I think they need more staff for better service. If someone asks them a question, they get offended or something. The other option is to lower the monthly payment to 10 dollars. For what we pay, we don't deserve any of the above. By the way, I forgot to comment. I didn't know since when the gym was a public bathroom for homeless people. Many of them are in the gym, in the showers. What about fitness? What's next, La fitness, see if they sell drugs or garbage food inside Jesus Cry

Great range of equipment & facilities. Love the layout out of the spin room. A well set up functional training area. For those who like squash, very few gyms have squash courts these days, but this one does. Lots of work out machines; multiple cardio choices and resistance well covered too. There is also a wide selection of free weights/squat racks. As a fitness professional I would endorse this training environment for all ages and ability levels. Something for everyone. Good standard of hygiene and maintenance. Shout out to Ken, doing a phenomenal job on reception!

Tried to come in and cancel my membership multiple times, just to be told I have to come back at another time to fill a specific form out with a salesman during a specific time window as if my life revolves around a sales person. On top of that, the disrespectful salesmen you have had at your gym the past 4 years have harassed all of my gym guests to the point that they stopped wanting to join me for a workout because the salesman would not stop harassing them. Your company lost my business and multiple friends of mine for your lack of respect of both our time and personal space. I’m so happy to no longer be giving money to a corrupt corporation that doesn’t even care about their customers.

Visiting from out of town and stopped through for a workout. Helpful and nice staff, shoutout to manager Anthony! Clean gym and spacious. Only recommendation would be to turn the music up😬 Otherwise a nice LA!

I have lived in Austin for almost 12 years. I have had memberships at 24 hr fitness, Golds, Crunch, and Lifetime. This is by far the worst! It starts with the unfriendly staff when you walk in who are typically on their phones and barely lift their heads to acknowledge your existence. Once you get inside to workout it’s very rare to find machine wipes. Occasionally there will be a spray bottle sitting where the wipes should be, but there will be no paper towels to actually wipe the spray. There is really only one of each type of machine (outside of cardio), so good luck if it’s a bit crowded. Having said all that, the locker rooms are really what takes the prize. I have been in cleaner gas station bathrooms…there’s piles of hair in the corners and along the walls and the lockers themselves typically have hair or stains in them. I have been here to work out multiple times when every paper towel dispenser in the locker room and bathroom was empty. The sinks are always filthy often with phlegm/spit in them. I cannot comment on the showers since I would not dare to use them considering the condition of the rest of the locker room. You can definitely do better than this place, and probably at a lower price. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is because they do have a lap pool.

Probably the worst run gym I’ve ever been to. I am not exaggerating when I say these pics were all taken on the same day. I ended up walking around seeing how many out of order signs I could find like it was an Easter egg hunt. You can probably still go in there and the out of order signs will all still be there, no matter what date you are reading this. The WiFi is unusable. The sauna is broken half the time, the refuse to fix anything. Been here for a year and a half and I think it’s finally time to switch. I have asked them many times to fix stuff and this is where we are at now. I went to LA fitness down the road and it’s 10x better so now I will try to bring as many people from golds to LA with me before I cancel my membership out of spite. They either don’t have a manager or they are wildly overpaid because they are never there. Sauna is always broken and is never even very hot anymore, they never fix equipment when it breaks, hours could be better. One thing I will say though is that personal trainer Daniel is dope. They should give him a raise, because he is the only good thing about this place. Don’t go to this gym (unless you want a personal training session with Daniel).

I chose Gold's Gym because of the many locations, which is convenient for me as my job requires traveling all over town. While this isn’t my usual gym, I visited this location yesterday due to a nearby appointment. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the condition of this gym. It’s clear the facility and equipment are in serious need of upgrades. Many machines, especially those for leg workouts, seemed outdated and poorly maintained—some hadn’t been serviced or oiled in a while, which affected my workout. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this gym.

** I have not been paid or compensated for any reviews I post. All reviews are written with what I see and experience. ** Dear Austin community, This review is for Gold’s Gym Ben White location. My initial impressions when I walked up to the building were reminiscent of an old department store. The outside of the building looks like it hasn’t been washed in years. The signage is dull and unimpressive. Walking in, you are greeted by some of the friendliest employees that always have a smile on their face. They truly seem to love chatting with customers about their day. The inside of the gym, at first glance, is decent. It’s quite large for a gym and there seems to be plenty of equipment to use for whatever your goals. Walking around, you see 10+ machines (cardio, weight, etc..) that are broken and not usable. Many of these have been this way for 3+ months now. Many customers have tried contacting local management about this with no replies which makes this reviewer wonder if management even cares. It doesn’t seem so. Going around the gym to inspect each machine is full of disappointment. Rust, cracks, disrepair of many things in this gym. One should be glad gyms aren’t inspected by the health department or this location would shut down immediately. Cleaning supplies like paper towels and disinfectant are a gamble as to whether or not you will have them for the day. The locker rooms are not much better than the rest of the gym. The sauna is constantly broken, it looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned in over a year, and wooden boards are broken. You can feel the bacteria in the air. Which makes you wonder how often the showers and toilets are cleaned (rather seldom from the looks of things). The music being played over the loud speaker is extremely loud and obnoxious. If you can hear it over your own headphones, it’s time to turn it down or off. Customers like to listen to their own music and not be interrupted by whatever they decide to blare that day. Overall this business gets a D- when compared to the other Gold’s gyms in the area. But I hope things do get better here and wish management the best of luck in turning it around. Update 8/8/2024 - The men's sauna still has not been cleaned and machines are all still broken. Update 8/16/2024 - They have a bad habit of not opening up in the mornings and today was no exception. Machines are still broken. Place is still not cleaned or stocked. Attempts to reach out to management has been unsuccessful. Update 10/20/2024 - Since bringing these issues to management’s attention, nothing has been done. The sauna hasn’t been cleaned, most of the same machines are still not working and the music is still deafening. It’s a wonder this place hasn’t been shut down yet. They should count themselves lucky they don’t have to follow Texas health code.

I’m extremely disappointed with the treatment I’ve received at Gold’s Gym. As a paying member, I expected to feel valued, but instead, I feel overlooked and underappreciated. The staff seemed indifferent to my concerns, and it’s clear that customer satisfaction isn’t a priority here. For a brand with such a strong reputation, I anticipated better service and a more welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether I’ll continue my membership. I hope Gold’s Gym takes steps to prioritize their members and create a more welcoming place

Friendly staff, solid equipment. Honestly would be a 5-star gym if they would just turn down the music like others have mentioned in the reviews… They blast music from the speakers so if you want to enjoy your own music or podcast like 95% of people at gold’s, it’s not ideal…

This place was delicious. The soup was a little bland but all the other dishes were good. I could barely understand the cashier. She was slightly incompetent. The price was $15 per person and included cold or hot tea. Desserts were $5. I had the chocolate pie. It was okay. It needed more fatty creaminess to it. The inside and outside atmosphere was nice. A fireplace would improve the place a bit. I would definitely come here again. You have to pay for parking. $2 per hour. Takes cards or coins.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. This is my most favorite place to eat in Austin. I love the atmosphere, the food, the workers, everything. I’ve eaten here countless times and it’s always been perfect. The food is high quality, unprocessed and all plant based whole foods. I tell everyone I know to come here. I’ve recently moved out of state and everytime I come back to Austin, this is where I go. They have a beautiful outdoor seating area where you are canopied by the trees. They also have a playground for the kiddos. Inside is a cafeteria like seating area with cozy lighting. They even sell their own cookbooks! This is truly a 10/10 place.

Went here on a trip to Austin, so sad there isn't one in Dallas!! My husband has Crohns disease and therefore, eats WFPB, no oils. No refined sugars. We never thought we would find a restaurant that has this type of food!! It was beyond delicious!! Food was fresh and it felt great on our stomachs and we even had like 2-3 desserts each time 😅 this place is a gem, and we will be returning for our anniversary!

We went to Casa de Luz last night and it was the cutest place. Everything was fantastic! The problem is my 3 year old and I shared my platter and both of us ended up getting food poisoning later that night. The one thing I remember consuming that tasted completely off was the avocado. It tasted like straight up rotten avocado but I dished up my kid’s food before trying everything. By then my child had consumed her entire avocado portion I gave her. We had come here with my sister and her family and our family friend. I asked everyone else if their avocado tasted rotten or weird at all and everyone said it tasted like it was seasoned just with lemon juice. By then I just plugged my nose and ate my entire portion of avocado because I didn’t want to waste anything. It was extremely dim even for the kitchen area so I wonder if that affected the ability to ensure no rotten food served. We wanted to love this place because everything else tasted amazing and the atmosphere with the nearby playground was incredible. I put a picture of the plate my husband had. Nobody else had a bite from my plate.

Absolutely beautiful. Disregard the negative reviews. If you want healthy, organic food - eat here. Also my family is interracial, and we experienced nothing like some of these reviews say. We are almost all of our food, even the kids. Kids food for under 3 - free. Seemed like a nice community, and there was a park for the kids. Stunning. Too bad we'd never choose to live in Austin, but if so I'd live right here. :)

I moved 22 miles out and have no vehicle there isn’t a transit that leads to the gym. I call and the manager is always not available. They started hanging up on me to avoid cancellation and are super rude when you walk in. It’s terrible service and a scam. This location claims it is not tied to corporate so what they say goes and my app doesn’t work they don’t care to fix it or to cancel my membership. They basically want me to pay and not even go…. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE !!

I normally work out at equinox in NYC. It’s pretty much the same in Austin. Very clean, new equipment and nice location. Steam room is a plus. I recommend working out here

I’ve been a long time equinox member (10+ years) and have seen the company grow into growing areas, like here in Austin! The membership I have allows me to visit around the country and I’ve had the pleasure of visiting multiple states and dozens of equinox clubs. I was visiting Austin for work in April and one of the best parts of my trip was having access here, this is why… The Austin club has stood out as one of my favorites and I can’t wait to visit again!! The south congress location is next to SoHo house (another must have membership with multi-city privileges) and many trendy restaurants and fun places to walk around to plus a very chill outdoor patio perfect for remote computer work. The facilities were incredibly clean, which is very typical for equinox clubs… and something the brand prides themselves on, so they get A++ here! No shame admitting I was able to spare packing my shower & body care amenities bc all of their clubs are fully stocked with luxury brand face wash, moisturizer, body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner… so I literally just worked out and showered there every day and that made my traveling life so easy😇 Love that they have a great steam room here too, be sure to grab the cold eucalyptus towels on your way in! Also the instructors and trainers here are legit!!! The ENERGY in Audreysha’s class is addictive🤩 She’s a top company instructor and this clubs group fitness manager. She has won company awards for being a baddie, so I am dead serious when I say this was such a treat to have her as an instructor and a highlight of my Austin visit🥰 10/10 recommend trying her class. Eyed some seriously challenging but fun looking privates going on that made me want to book a few privates next time I’m in town, and this club is so spread out with multiple floors so even when it was “busy” it didn’t feel overcrowded. Also I was a super super fan of the Matcha Mama cafe they have at this club, which had some seriously delicious and good for you smoothies, crave-able avocado toast and they were even offering single serve LivOn Labs Acetyl Carnitine supplements… so my workout game was on point🥹 After I visited, I glanced at some of these poor reviews and wonder about the authenticity🤔 This was an easy 5/5 stars but I’d give them more if I could🖤

Conveniently located, great staff, and amazing classes. I’m originally from NY so I’m used to smaller equinoxes. The only thing this location missed out on was a rooftop pool that would have been perfect in Austin. If you’re looking for a trainer ask for Johnny, he’s amazing.

I am glad I checked out this location. Some of these reviews are quite the stretch, to having 0 basis in reality. From the moment I walked in I was greeted sincerely and warmly from the front desk associate, and was asked what I’m looking for in my next gym membership from the membership director. This location delivered on all fronts. I also noticed there was cleaning staff - on hand the entire duration of the day ( I came twice today just to see the space at different hours ). Not overly packed - clean - and a great atmosphere with plenty of equipment. Please take the time to consider some of the complaints below - a lot of them have nothing to do with the space and staff - and that’s unfortunate. No Equinox does not cost the same as a planet fitness, but it’s also not the most expensive in town either. It’s actually a phenomenal value if you want a clean, uplifting gym with plenty of equipment and classes. To add further - I asked what has been done to address the feedback posted here and they have brought in new management who’s been with the company in New York for the last 15 years, and knows the brands standards. Equipment and locker room, steam room are in excellent shape. Don’t miss out on this location.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIE TO YOU Signed the cancellation form during the 3 day buyers remorse timeframe and spoke to the regional manager Andre about the cancel and was told they would refund me the $139 and cancel my membership. This was on 1/14/2025 - here we are 10 days later with no refund, still active membership and no one will return my calls/vmails.

I’ve been doing OTF for a couple years now at many different locations but this one is definitely one of my favorites. I love Coach Renea! She is the best always remembers your name and makes you feel like she cares about you. The only reason I get out of bed on Sunday mornings :D and of course always a great work out

Orange theory has a 30 day money back guarantee however you MUST complete 12 classes in that window to get your refund. I was injured in my second class and I won’t be returning, however they will not refund me the very expensive membership fee because I am injured and cannot complete the 12 classes. Ridiculous. Also to get the full class experience you have to purchase their heart rate monitor. And they will not buy that back from me either even though it was used for 1 class. Will not be returning to this expensive program requiring expensive equipment purchase that got me injured.

Avoid this place at all cost. They lure you in with a free class then charge you $30. I signed up for a free class at 5:30, got there at 5:31pm and wasn’t let in the class. The dude and the lady at the front desk told me it was a no show. I’m like I’m literally right here, a minute late due to traffic. They refused to let me in and said it was a no show and I will be charged $30. Mind you this was supposed to be a free class. I have been an OTF member for 5yrs, took a break and was trying to come back. Never have I heard of a free class turning into a $30 fee. Avoid this location. Scammers!!!

ATTENTION Please Read: It is based on Billing Cycles thus the time from you NOTIFY your cancellation to actually cancel is 60 Days and not immediate no billing. You will have to pay at least one more payment cycle and at the end of 60 Days or (two months) you are canceled. I signed up all is well everything is great but if you decide to cancel, you have to pay additional MONTH. That is right. This was legal and, in the agreement, but not explained. Next time, I sign up with anything. I will send to ChatGPT for review. So for example, if you sign up day 1 and wants to cancel next day, well you have to pay another month to cancel. Thus this is a 60 Days Cancellation Contract and not "30 Days Cancellation Notice". Basically, your cancellation won't count and not effective till next Billing Cycle Date "begins". and 30 days from there. This cancellation is kinda Chinese-trickery "TEMU" clothing type cancellation and not an American cancellation style. Don't think I will go back again. Oh by the way, few months ago I was a Cedar Park, OT and the invisible glass was at the entrey to the gym and I smashed myself into it (coming out) and caused significant bleeding and with broken lips. Outch! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By ChatGPT: Key Points from the Membership Agreement: Billing Cycle and Cancellation: The Membership Agreement states that "your cancellation request will be effective 30 days after it is received"(Orangetheory Membership…). This means that even if you submit a cancellation request on November 14th, the cancellation will not take effect until December 14th, aligning with a 30-day notice period. Legal Basis: This provision is standard in service agreements and is legally enforceable as long as it was clearly disclosed and agreed upon at the time of signing. The agreement's terms also comply with Texas regulations for health spa contracts, which allow for such a notice period(Orangetheory Membership…). Early Termination or Refunds: The agreement does not provide an option for immediate cancellation within a billing cycle unless related to special circumstances like death or permanent disability(Orangetheory Membership…). This means that you are obligated to pay for the next billing cycle if your cancellation falls within the notice period. Binding Nature: The agreement states that you agreed to these terms when signing the contract, making the 30-day notice clause enforceable. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- P.S. From now on, every contract I sign, I am going to feed thru ChatGPT for analysis and review before I sign a dam thing. Thank you for the life lesson!

Have been coming here for about 3 months now. When I went yesterday they asked if they could take my photo for their records. I politely declined and tried to go about my business but they wouldn’t let me walk away without the photo. The manager was rude. All I wanted to do was leave without being pushed into having them take my picture. Is this what I pay $27 dollars for every month?

Half the showers have been out of order for months. I've been coming here for a couple years now and I have to say the quality is really going downhill. there is a line for the showers and now there's even mold growing. I would recommend going to a different planet fitness, but ALL the gyms in Austin are out of order... I never have this problem at fitness connection and at this point I'll probably go back

The front desk people alone cause me to give 5 stars. They set the tone. Super friendly and helpful. Right now it’s post-resolution so it’s full of people but the facilities are a gym. It works if you know what’s going on.

Jayden and his staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience at the Gym. It's always clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they have new equipment! It's the best PF in Austin.

I like to go in the mornings and the restroom is always clean and stocked up. Also love the new equipment! But I noticed some planet fitnesses got up to 7 new machines, how come this location only got 3? Or is there more to come? Other than that it’s always been a great gym for me.

There’s an abundance of equipment and a lovely environment to meet your fitness goals 👌

I’ve been going to this Planet Fitness for a while, but my recent experiences have been extremely disappointing. The night shift staff, particularly one individual, is consistently rude and unprofessional. It’s clear they have no interest in customer service or maintaining the welcoming environment Planet Fitness is supposed to stand for. To make matters worse, the locker room feels unsafe, especially at night. I’ve witnessed suspicious activity that seems related to drug use, and nothing is being done about it. The staff doesn’t seem to care or address the issue. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for a membership and have to deal with these problems. This location needs serious management attention to improve the environment and enforce some basic standards of professionalism and safety.

This place is ridiculous. I need to send them a certified letter to cancel. The last few times I was there the showers weren't even working. I'll never do business with PF again. Why do I need to go in or send a letter? It’s so dumb. I haven’t even been there in months. I barely went. I wouldn’t bother calling unless you were going to cancel my membership. I’m not supposed to have a commitment to this membership and I’m supposed to be able to cancel anytime. There’s other PF gyms that let you cancel in the app. Why the shady practice of making me come in or send a letter? Because you might get another month out of me that way? Super Lame.

it's ok 2 years ago I was racially profiled the over night assistant manager said my jumping jacks and lap walks wasn't "working out" he didn't like my "look du-rag and all" called apd and issued a ctw... haven't been inside since I don't believe he works at that location anymore I still shop at a variety of stores in that plaza still the lady's I do see in and out the location are smoking hot
