I’ve really enjoyed training with Atomic for the past few months- the coaches are great, the programming is challenging and emphasizes the fundamentals while keeping it fun, and the community is so welcoming and kind. The group classes have been amazing and I’ve even made a few friends with other strong, badass people. I’d recommend Atomic to a more intermediate lifter personally, as classes are a little more independent/self-guided than other places I’ve been to, but overall it truly is a wonderful place full of amazing athletes- 10/10!

Atomic Outpost is way more than a gym. It’s a 360-degree program. The gym itself is an excellent facility. The equipment is all top notch. It’s clean, roomy and close to domain area. The workout program and daily group workouts are well-thought out, full-body challenges. The coaches make sure you are lifting with good form and challenging yourself correctly in the group workouts. I’ve already dropped weight and improved physique within the first month and here’s why... The Coaches are truly top-notch. They are knowledgeable about the right form - I’ve been working out for 20+ years and they have shown me little tweaks about how to improve my lifts. You can feel the difference right away during the lift and this injury avoidance & respect is worth it. The coaches and gym regulars are all in amazing shape, yet very supportive of those just getting started. All this allows me to challenge myself consistently. The Atomic community is really supportive. There are group workouts Downtown on Saturdays and stretching/yoga to restore on Sundays. They are nutrition focused and have an optional nutrition program to complement the workout plan. Another highlight is the side quests like the Halloween night-ops run, Holiday party and other events. Lastly, their social media is super positive which keeps me focused on staying healthy and fit. Atomic Outpost has really exceeded my expectations on what "a gym" can be.

I am not a gym rat. I have never had a membership to a gym in my life -- my athleticism derives from cycling, mountain biking and professional dancing. However, after being strongly persuaded by a member of Atomic Athlete, I decided to check out what all the fuss is about. I live close to Atomic Outpost, so that is where I go. It is quite possibly the best decision I have ever made for myself in regard to my workout routine. I am obsessed with this place. It's been two months since I joined, and I am eager to get into it every Monday. I have a few chronic injuries and they know exactly how I should modify the exercises that I know are going to irritate that body part. The most unexpected part is the people --- the comradery in unreal. I only do the group workouts, and everyone is so nice and welcoming and supportive. The coaches are GREAT. They do an incredible job at keeping you motivated and pumped up during the grueling parts of the workout where you kind of feel like you're going to die a little but don't. My most favorite part is that not one workout has been the same, which is great for someone like me because I get bored easily and love to be challenged. I am so grateful that I found this place. It is everything that my friend described it to be and more. Do yourself a favor and give yourself a month here. Just try it. You'll never wanna quit, I promise.

It's been an incredible experience. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and the coaches are absolutely fantastic. They take the time to get to know each member personally and tailor workouts to individual goals and abilities. The workouts themselves are challenging but always varied and interesting, so I never get bored. The facility is top-notch, so I always feel safe and supported during my workouts. But what really sets the Outpost apart is the community. I've made so many new friends and workout buddies since joining, and everyone is so supportive and encouraging. It truly feels like a family. Overall, I would highly recommend Atomic Athlete Outpost to anyone looking for a fun, challenging, and supportive workout community in North Austin.

I love the concept and flexibility of this gym. You can workout around your schedule with the equipment you need. The programming is top notch and the north location makes it very appealing. If you want to be apart of a strong community, look no further.

Best gym/co-working space I've experienced. The recovery room with Sauna + Cold Plunge have changed my life.

Easily, my favorite gym in Austin! Bianca S. is my trainer at Kollective North. In over 21 years of trainers, I have never met anyone like her! She is knowledgeable and authentic! She lives what she teaches! She is authoritative but with so much grace and kindness! She has taught me healthy, achievable hacks that have had huge impact's on my body and my lifestyle. And as smart as she is, she’s also beautiful….and fun! She taught me how to workout hard, real hard, and always have fun doing it!

Hands down the best training facility I have experienced in my life. I have spent the past 14 years in the health / fitness space and this place checks all boxes. Flat rate membership that includes open gym training, access to classes, unlimited cold plunge and unlimited traditional sauna is unreal. If you need more head upstairs and there’s PT / HRT and more. The team is friendly and helpful. The trainers are on another level. The network of driven and successful members opens up new doors daily. I love it here! Worth every penny.

Look, it's a cool place, has everything you need to train, nice big open windows, plentiful parking, etc. But riddle me this, how do you build a fitness/coworking center on like 2 acres of land and then make the men's changing room 5'x10'? I was in there with 2 other guys and we were climbing on top of each other With so much space, why would you put the co-working area literally next to the pickleball with a glass divider between the two; I tried getting some work done and had to leave because of the noise. Other than that, lovely people and lovely place, just disappointed with the layout.

Pure Pilates is a wonderful light and airy Pilates studio for my boutique intimate visits for when I'm looking to get my butt kicked for 50 minutes. I'm impressed to see this place is still as beautiful as the day I stopped by when I saw I came back in 2017, and now as a mom who needs to work on her mobility, health and core strength meets posture, this place did not disappoint! I've met Zilla, who Ally, the owner teaches some sessions on Wednesdays and I can get my doggy cuddles while I am getting my Pilates workout on? Win win! Even better is they're close by my office, which makes it a quick walk over! Sold! And with utilizing ClassPass and being friendly and no pressure, this is my kind of place and one that I plan to return to for a local boutique studio for my wellness and fitness goals!

Pure Pilates has saved me physically and mentally— for post work stress relief as a stressed pediatric RN🎀👩🏻‍🍼. I know it sounds dramatic but I found something I’m addicted to and want to keep up forever. It’s challenging but fun! I can see results in my body with toning, strength gains from Going consistently the past month. Shout out to Lauren G., Kate , Ashley , Minjae, and Ally and everyone here at the Domain for pushing me and being patient .💕

Can absolutely say I love it here. It’s the highlight of my week coming here. As a weightlifter very focused on form and nothing erratic, I was skeptical. The instructors are very focused on slow and controlled movements with good form. Taking these classes have helped my weightlifting significantly. If you want coaches that are obviously the best of the best, I’d recommend this place.

The Megaformer is the star of the show, front and center. Marcela rocks the Domain location, and keeps the apparatus from being a distraction. Sometimes we feel like mat Pilates with bands, but sometimes only the Megaformer will do.

Accidentally deleted my original review instead of updating it. Customer support was super responsive and accommodating once we discovered there was an issue with my email not allowing any responses to come through! Instructors here are great, and Emma is the best of the best!

Update: late may 2024 and it is HOT in here. The other recent reviews about an underpowered AC seem to have some legitimacy to them. Confirmed with GM the entire upstairs AC is broken and awaiting a repair. OOF. This seems to be a pattern if you go through reviews historically. See pic for completely disabled upstairs thermostat. It does not appear they have a timeline for a fix or a plan to bring in fans in the meantime. As much as I love this gym over my two years here, the quality has gone downhill and management has stopped engaging with reviews or sending out notices/emails. I’d avoid for the time being. The weird weekend hours (close at 7) are unfortunate. I don’t really get people saying the employees are rude here. A couple of them are especially nice, most are neutral. They’re gym employees just doing their jobs, if you want a friendly conversation from a gym employee, conversate with the GM or seek out a friend

I've been experiencing ongoing issues with the air conditioning at this gym for over a year now, and it seems the problem remains unresolved. Despite submitting formal complaints, management repeatedly assures me that it's being addressed (please see the response). We’ve endured two summers where the gym has been nearly unmanageable due to the heat. Even now, in December, the temperature upstairs is still in the high 70s to low 80s, despite the use of fans. As you can see, the air conditioning is currently off upstairs. It's incredibly disappointing, especially considering the high membership fees. While Lifetime Fitness is a fantastic gym overall, I recommend choosing the locations to the north or south instead of the Arboretum location. It simply doesn’t meet expectations.

Best GYM in AUSTIN! Although its a smaller lifetime with less amenities compared to other locations this gym is unique. What makes Braker unique is its own private lake where members can swim, paddle board and kayak included. The gym is always clean the team is wonderful always happy and helpful.

The one star is for the friendly and warm staff at the Arboretum front desk and coffee bar AND the clean bathrooms. I would say if you like to be in these affluent settings I would consider this a vanity gym. In six months I met ONE serious lifter. There is no inspiration, no six hundred pound dead lifters, no camraderie to compete or just learn about lifting. I was also censored for needing to carry my equipment in my bag. I carry lifting shoes, my own towels, chalk, clamps, snacks, wraps, straps, my log, belt, water bottle which is part of what I need with me. I was scolded in front of members and told it wasnt allowed. Sorry, bub, but I lift, not swing 5# DBs. This gym is also ageist. In 12 yrs never have I been allowed in a gym only during certain hrs because of my age. Imagine if my regular gym did this? For serious gym folks looking for a serious lifting gym, this wont work. For the gym fees and trainer fees there are much better gyms and trainers here in Austin.

I’ve been a member of Lifetime Fitness for quite some time, and I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of urgency in fixing the air conditioning on the upper floor. It’s been broken for what seems like a year now. Considering the premium fees we pay for membership—hundreds of dollars each month—this level of neglect is simply unacceptable. This isn’t a budget gym like Gold’s Gym, where you might expect some issues. We pay a significant amount for what is supposed to be a top-tier fitness experience. The heat upstairs is unbearable, especially during the summer months. It’s not just uncomfortable, but it also creates an unhealthy workout environment. The management’s lack of action in resolving this issue is mind-blowing. Despite numerous complaints from members, there seems to be no real effort to get the AC repaired. Lifetime Fitness needs to address this immediately. We expect better service and facilities for the amount we’re paying. If the management doesn’t take swift action, I will consider canceling my membership and looking for a gym that values its members’ comfort and well-being.
