I signed up for a 7-day pass during my trip. Since it was my first time, I had to go through the whole spiel with the front desk staff. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he was extremely friendly. He checked my strength, flexibility, etc. At the end, when he asked if I had any questions, I asked him to help me on the leg press and he did! He suggested other workouts I should do afterwards. I came during the day time, when it wasn't busy and in the afternoon when it was busy. Both times were pleasant. NO ONE slammed their weights!! Was there a lunk alarm?? Everyone seemed respectful of others around them, asking if they can jump in between sets. However, wiping down equipment seemed to be a foreign concept here. They have the standard equipment that would be at every gym. All the weights are on the first level and the dreaded cardio on the second level...although the stairmasters are on the first. They also have cycles throughout the gym, I was excited to hop on one for the first time in years. Can I just take a moment and point out the old and rusty machines?? This isn't my home gym, but still...why haven't they been replaced? I get that they aren't broken or in need of repair, but all that rust can't possibly be good. The bathroom/locker room areas were surprisingly clean. Would I return? Maybe...when I'm back in the area.

I love this gym but it’s so poorly maintained. The dry sauna has been broken or not working for close to a year now and the membership price has not decreased and now we are notified the steam room is also down. They make no initiative to fix things promptly why I’ve been going to other gyms hoping this one gets back to how it used to be

This gym is not what it use to be, I’ve been a member for 3 years in 2 months & it gets worse every year. Customer service is trash, the sauna & steam room are always down & quality over the gym overall has declined. The 3 years I’ve been coming, the kid at the front @4am has only greeted me ONCE, ridiculous.. Oh! & they misinform you on instructions on how to cancel & give you a hassle when trying to cancel. I was initially sad about switching gyms but now I’m happily leaving this one & L.A will never get my business again.

Decent club, clean and very spacious. Dry sauna is down but this is a unique club because it features a steam-room as well. As far as I know, this is the only location in houston that has a steam room. It does smell unpleasant tho. Not sure how expensive some mint and/or eucalyptus oils would be to add or if there were an option for someone to be able to purchase some cartridges and use them, that would have been cool. Otherwise a well maintained location.

The gym I recently visited was a complete disappointment. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by an unkempt facility - I’ve been coming here for over 2 years. They started strong, but now the weights are not racked properly, the staff is not very friendly, and there are clearly not enough machines for the massive crowd. Today, while it's over 100 degrees outside, I asked the staff to turn on the fans, and their response was “I just turned them off because they were on all day” Well I asked to turn them on again and they did. The atmosphere has become unpleasant. The air conditioning was also inadequate, leaving the gym feeling hot and stuffy. And it’s summer and gross weather already. Good luck finding parking during the evenings on weekdays. We had to park next door - at the “at home” parking lot. I would suggest finding a better gym that values its customers and provides a decent workout environment. I’m here for the convenience since it’s the only gym in the neighborhood and I paid an annual membership. LA Fitness: Please revert hours back as well to Pre-pandemic hours. On Saturday and Sunday, there is no need to close at 8 pm and please fix the always broken machines.
