pro: -24 hours Monday to Friday - really the only one in the area that is 24 hours. i take mass transit from New York City (upper west side, no less!) to come here after midnight, this gym is that worthy of service to its members. else i would have signed up nearby my home. the quality of your workout should matter to you because that is what will get you results and bring variety to your routine which keeps your workouts away from getting stale. -excellent selection of so many grip types, weights, machines, just wow, really great selection. -paper towels and cleaning stuff (hand alcohol sanitizer) and such are always stocked. this isn't planet fitness 15 blocks away where supplies are empty. -clean locker room, with 2 GOOD showers (incredible water pressure) -if equipment is broken, it gets fixed very quickly -good variety of shakes and protein bars in case you are hungry at the start of the workout or just want to grab something right after before heading to work or some other task instead of home. this does help. -excellent selection of REAL pre-workout powders (you buy it by the scoop as a singe serving). there must be about 10 or 12 different brands from what I remember. really great. -cardio "movie theater" upstairs that is air conditoned and you do cardio on a variety of equipment while watching a popular movie on a large screen. you can also do some light exercises in that room in a separate corner. this is very nice and unique to this gym because you get privacy and fun entertainment while working out. also note that it is semi-private so if you are self-conscious while working out (some people are and some people just wanna be left alone and do their own thing on cardio), this is yet another great benefit this gym offers. -right outside, around the corner of the block, there is a very quiet residental tree lined block of avenues where you can run on the wide streets if you want to go for a quick run. there is little vehicle traffic and the lanes are wide. -must mention this because it ended up being true - equipment absolutely matters. the body i have been able to build at this gym (shown in last pic - i am age 50 there!) is BY FAR because of the huge variety of equipment here at this location that targets as many muscle fibers from each region possible and with as many angles (these guys have a huge huge selection of bars as one of my pics shows), and most machines are usually free because there are so many. i could not have built this body outdoors doing calisthenics alone or at a budget gym like planet fitness. i know, because i tried doing so before i joined here. con: -music can be loud (at times). they do keep rotating the playlist from many genres so the songs are never on repeat nor become tiresome. -some equipment shows wear and tear/aging BUT it does always work. I am just mentioning the aesthetic. -parking is difficult to find on the street so be aware of that, however if you're willing to walk one or two blocks you can park a little bit far away where you should be able to find street parking. -not too many cons. it's a good gym to get your real hard workout in, or just something relaxing at the cardio machines upstairs or in the green grass area downstairs. ------- see pics for additional details and info.

Been my gym for 3 years. Honestly great gym for its price. It’s small but can easily get your workouts done. Does get packed during rush hour, but you can still manage to get a workout. Everyone in there is chill even the employees.

They have a slightly more expensive membership. However, you can definitely see where that money goes. The bathrooms are always fresh and clean, and machines are always fixed asap when broken. Helpful and kind staff. Definitely recommended for the price

Great gym. Has all the equipment you’d ever need. Some of it is old, but it’s VERY well maintained, so no worries there. My only issue with this gym is a certain part of the clientele who thinks they’re too good to re rack weights for others lol…

It's not as spacious or equipped as the Strickland location in bergen beach/mill basin. The old converted movie theater asthetic is interesting. Locker room is very small. Some equipment is outdated. Overall, it serves it's purpose.
