Northeast Bronx YMCA

Customer service is lacking at this location. The manager doesn’t want to own up to her responsibility. I do not recommend doing business with this place. Too many unsupervised kids roaming the location. The area you watch swimming from stinks! When brought to locations attention they were aware but did not make any changes. Rest of location was cleaned decently. It’s a shame because this place could be a jewel but the poor customer service makes this spot a 2 star

I have been visiting this YMCA for over a year as a mentor to a young student from the neighborhood and the experience I have had has been positive. The YMCA offers programs for teens with appropriate supervision and adult support. During this time I have had nothing but positive interactions with staff, youth and other adults. I hope they continue to serve the community as they do.

I love to come here, mostly to swim. There is also a great weight room with all the machines you need, and a great basketball court. This is a very nice and family friendly facility with lots of classes and hours.

Had a great time here doing a food drive sponsored by D9 members the Bronx Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Space was clean, bright with friendly staff. Arrived early enough to see staff training some kids in the pool. Ideal on-site parking and not far from the train. Update: Came back for our event in June. Staff was a pleasure to work with especially Ms. Tina.

Finally! a YMCA in the Northeast of the Bronx...Yippee 🤗 This is a 'state of the art' YMCA the gym has great equipment that are 'top of the line', the swimming pools could be larger but they are still great. There's a large basketball court and facility occupies 3 floors not counting the basement rooms which are use for summer school programs..there are alot of exercise classes available for everyone young or old. I gave 4stars, because the method of signing up for classes needs to be revisited🤭......but apart from that BEAUTIFUL facility!
