Third time coming to this gym for Zumba Class at 9:45am tuesday. Waited till 10am, no one shows up, no one came to the studio to tell us anything about the class being canceled. I did complain to the front desk and was told this is a third part class and they have no control. The gym is dark and smells bad. It looks outdated. I really like the Linden, Clark, Edison, and Piscataway locations. Will never come back to this Avenel Location again. Unless they improve it.

The steam room and Jacuzzi have been out of service for over five months, with no clear timeline for repairs. Unfortunately, both the front desk staff and the manager seem unaware of when these amenities will be fixed. Additionally, the bathroom has a persistent bad odor, highlighting serious cleanliness and maintenance issues that need urgent attention. I hope management prioritizes these concerns to enhance the overall experience for members.

Decent gym. Clean. Partially well air conditioned, could be better. Not sure what’s up with all the LA’s and their broken down/not repaired suanas. It’s a tragedy. They need to fix this or decrease the membership fees.

Great location, great structure, and the staff is okay, but this place smells bad. It's likely because the restrooms and workout areas aren’t properly cleaned. Please improve the cleaning, get more staff, and use better products. A lot of people come here, so it's not like your business isn’t doing well! Also, please reopen the kids' club. It's a big convenience for loyal members, and the space is just sitting unused now.

Hot tub has been down for at least a week. When I nicely and politely ask when it will be back up again, I get major attitude.
