After a less than stellar experience at another location, visiting the Planet Fitness in Festival Plaza, Miami, FL, was a breath of fresh air. This facility boasted a clean environment with reasonably attentive staff, making it a much more welcoming space for a workout. The gym itself felt upgraded, and while the elliptical runners featured the latest models, they were limited to those with fixed arms. The movable arm machines were still the older versions, which was slightly disappointing but not a complete deal breaker for me. One significant downside was the music volume within the gym. It was so loud that it interfered with my own in-ear music, which was quite distracting during my workout. Another issue was the lax enforcement of rules in the circuit training section. Several people were camping out on equipment, which disrupted the flow and forced me to perform my exercises out of the intended order. Considering the circuit section is directly visible from the front desk, better management of this area should be feasible. Despite these drawbacks, the overall cleanliness and staff demeanor at this location were commendable. It’s a solid choice for anyone in the Miami area looking for a reliable gym, as long as you’re prepared to deal with high-volume music and some potential waiting during circuit workouts.

Honestly… SUCH a great gym experience. I’ve gone to several other Planet Fitness locations, but this one takes the cake 10/10 times. The machines are ALWAYS clean and it is never too full so you have freedom to do whatever you’d like whenever. The front desk staff is absolutely amazing and quick to address concerns. Adri always does an amazing job at solving all my problems. A couple of weeks ago I had an issue with my membership and she handled it with so much kindness and patience, literally top tier customer service. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable workout environment.

One of the best PFs because of the layout: separate areas even a second floor, high up windows where the sun shines through and only one big massive fan so it’s not too cold. Nice girl at the front.

Someone broke my locker lock, stole my belongings, and took my car keys along with my car. The manager never did anything about it, nor did he show any concern that someone was stealing items from the lockers. The day the car was stolen, we called the manager at 6 am. He answered and said he was very sorry about what happened but that his shift started at 10 am. We asked if he would be there at 10 am so we could see what could be done. He never intended to help. We arrived at 10 am to see if we could review the cameras, and when we got there at 10, it turned out he hadn’t even arrived. He left us waiting for an hour until he finally showed up. The manager was extremely rude and indifferent about what had happened inside the facility. I just want to say that if you go to this GYM, be careful because they break locks, take no responsibility, and don’t care about their members. I cancelled my membership back in June 2023 when I moved to Pennsylvania. I called in and they told me to send a letter. I did. It is now a year and a half later and they are still charging me and have the account open accumulating late fees for any month that the funds were not there when they hit my account. They are telling me that in order to cancel I have to fly in and cancel in person or send another letter. This is insane. You can see I have not been there this is robbery and fraud.
