Miami Iron Gym

I’ve been training at the MIG for years. There is no other gym that gives you old school Hard Core training like the MIG. No nonsense straight up HARD CORE! We all respect each other and there is no BULLSHIT like in other Gyms where they sit and text and hold up the machines. At the MIG we don’t workout WE TRAIN!! And if you don’t like it go somewhere else!! My forever home. Thank you Jorge for establishing a home for us all!

Nice equipment, good machines. The gym itself offers great training possabilities and gives a good hardcore vibe. Loved the words on the homepage: „No one is here to be socializing or texting“ Unfortunately, that wasn‘t the case. The employee was hanging around with a training group (they were also mostly sitting & texting or prob doing a very long break between sets), smoking an electronic cigarette inside the gym or literally hanging around. As a white/non spanish speaking person you don‘t feel welcome. Doesn‘t mean, we don‘t unterstand spanish. One woman was asking another guy „what do these white people do here?“ in spanish and looked judgy at us. Absolutely disgusting. Quick mention to the guy in the nutrition shop, he was very nice & friendly!

**Iron Gym (9660 Coral Way) Review** I joined Iron Gym with my fiancée primarily because of its competitive pricing, but beyond that, we were drawn to the welcoming atmosphere and the adherence to gym rules, which initially made it a great fit for us. However, as we near the end of our three-month membership, I must address some issues that have significantly impacted our experience. Last week, I encountered an incident that disrupted my workout. While using a machine, an individual—who appears to be a trainer—approached me and insisted that I stop because he needed the machine for a client he was training. This was despite an identical machine right behind me being available and unused. When I pointed this out and continued my workout, he became visibly upset. Today, I noticed the same trainer exhibiting similar behavior with another member, who seemed new to the gym. Such behavior is unprofessional and, frankly, discouraging for members. If trainers routinely prioritize their clients at the expense of other gym-goers, this practice could alienate members and harm the gym's reputation. Additionally, the customer service at the front desk requires immediate attention. During peak hours (5:00 PM to 7:00 PM), I found the staff dismissive and uninterested in addressing concerns. When I approached the front desk to report an issue, the agent repeatedly stated, “I’m not the one who handles complaints,” and suggested I contact the owner via Instagram or speak with them in the morning. This response lacked empathy and professionalism, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a customer. Unfortunately, due to these experiences, I’ve decided not to renew my membership at Iron Gym. I also cannot recommend this facility based on my time here. That said, I see tremendous potential for improvement. Addressing the issues with trainer behavior and investing in staff training to provide courteous, solution-focused customer service could greatly enhance the overall experience and help Iron Gym thrive. ______________________ Based on the response, given, it goes to show that there’s little to no communication Amongst the staff and owner, I spoke to Melissa who’s there in the mornings. Also using the term intimidation is far from The reason I placed a complaint, it makes you sound ignorant. I would suggest you reread, And if you want to provide a proper response to Complaint, But at this time I could care less What you have to say since it’s obvious You lack reading comprehension.

Amazing people there. Helpful and nice staff. People go there to train and do their own thing. Great old school machines. Good price for the day pass. It may seem small but it does the job ! Love how they meal prep there too and drinks.

Great competitive prices, UNBEATABLE hours, staff is helpful and always alert. Equipment variety is amazing too. They even have squat racks and a deadlift loading jack. Robust selection of stair masters and treadmills too. Nothing beats this place.
