Grand Mission HOA, Gym, & Clubhouse

Clean. Well maintained. Convenient location. Good size to host small party for approx 50-100 people. (My guesstimate). Has refrigerator and kitchen island. Sofa set and few tables with chairs set up. Some additional metal folding chairs in storage room.

I visited today after many months at Gym, neat and clean and we spend almost 40 minutes and we enjoyed to do exercise. It’s very convenient but we are not getting enough benefit from this facility. Plenty of opportunities to do different exercises.

Fantastic pool and facility! A large lap pool, a tall double water slide, another swim area with waterfalls, a fun splash area and a HUGE baby pool! Plenty of room for sure! Managed by Sweetwater Pools.

Extremely rude manager at the clubhouse. It’s extremely unorganized. I came in a while ago to look at the clubhouse for an event and I believe one of the employees had brought their kids? It was pretty unprofessional.

Please note that many of the 5 star reviews are posted by “local guides” and likely employees of the HOA and/or their family/friends. We have lived here for nine years and literally none of our neighbors are happy with the HOA. Simple things such as taking care of the massive fire ant hills on the playgrounds, sidewalks, etc take verbal complaints. Trees are cut down and not replanted. Houses are rented out as vacation rentals on Air BnB, VRBO, etc, with guests throwing loud parties until early in the morning and making it unsafe for our children to play outside as they have done for years, and the HOA does nothing. They are, however, quick to increase our HOA fees, every year, and collect them. Yes, there’s a clubhouse, gym, pool, etc. What neighborhood around here doesn’t? We live in the homes on these streets in this neighborhood, not at the clubhouse, the pool or that sorry excuse for a gym.
