Update late-June 2024: They are correct, the HVAC must have been down that day. It is now a day away from summer and 95 degrees out and the gym feels fine inside today. April 2024: The Y is as expected but it has one big design flaw. The weight/gym is on the second story and surrounded by window walls. It's now April and 77 degrees out and the sun is coming in the windows turning it into a sauna, plus 2nd story and heat rises, plus there are NO FANS installed. The windows are tinted but the sun is glaring through the windows, and the tint has nothing on the strength of that sun. It's like working out in a greenhouse. I'm dreading how hot it'll be in Summer when we are in the 90s and/or triple digits. Had to end my workout early today due to these conditions.

This is Terrible - And the people on front desk they are terrible terrible, special the one girl i forgot her name she is so rude omg , those ppl who work there never have smile on face or to explain people about membership wth. is going on. When i sign in i told the lady i wanna 24/7 i fck pay a lot money and she charge me for whole family and i told her only me not my wife and kids and she charged me for all and for three months i got charged over 60$. After i talk with other people who come in gym about monthly payments and they told me 20$ and little more i ask how i pay all those money only me , and she changed only me and she charge me now 38$. and still not 24/7 access in gym. I come one night around 8:45 pm and i scan card and she said u don’t have 24/7 i told her and why i pay fck all those money , and she is so rude omg i todl her let me pay now , and she is talking something and she went somewhere else omg. Im done with this ymca next Month and no more. Im mowing to the other gym. This is terrible, and you guys need to know how to make plans for people and find something easy, and for every thing need to ask on front desk to get key for boxing room with one bag inside this is fck funny i can’t believe.

Honestly I would give it 4/5 stars due to the variety of workouts and the class programs and especially the pool. But i give it a two because they need to double down on the cleanliness. I speak for the women there, so in the womens bathrooms in every single shower stall there is slimy mold like on the walls and floors, where you put your shampoo products and the shower heads are dirty. It would be nice to shower and not feel gross during and after. They need someone to come and wipe down and disinfect all seating stalls out in the locker floors and inside the sauna, people place their bare bottom on these stalls and just the thought of that is disgusting. They need to do these sanitation as a routine, at least hourly. We pay over $50 i expect a spectacular outcome to the hygiene and cleanliness of the place. Also, why does the men locker room have a sauna and a steam room? Yet the womens only has a sauna? That is not far at all, and yet we pay the same for all amenities ? I am sure will all the thousands they receive on a monthly basis and the low pay the workers get , they can afford to hire janitors and build a steam room to accomodate the women. I hope there are some changes, i ended my membership due to these reasons, only reason i came back is because i literally moved three houses down, so its convenient for me. If not, i sadly would still not be a member. I also dont find the excuse of there is no space, because there are several rooms that are never used or occupied. Thank you.

Just went to join. One person at desk doing individual intake. Inefficient. Two teen boys came in not realizing that they can't come in until 2 on weekdays. The person at the desk spoke so rudely to them. If someone had spoken that way to my grandson, I would have a fit. Something heavy kept dropping upstairs. Weights? Construction? Not sure, but I decided this was a place that I don't want to be.

Jill is nice, friendly, and professional. They have caller ID so before they pick up the phone- they already know who is calling. Many times I called- no one answer, phone drop, and when someone picked up (the person who pick up has a bad attitude) No greetings and almost miserable! This person needs another set of training in customer service. You can learn from Jill. You know who you are, because you work at the YMCA for ages! Like you been working there since my daughter is 5 yrs old! And she is 20 yrs old now! It makes me giggle that this person has a bad/negative attitude on the phone every time I call. Retire if you don’t like your job!
