Harbor Fitness has always been an amazing place to work out, and it’s largely thanks to the incredible management! Trish, the general manager, truly goes above and beyond to ensure every member feels welcomed, valued, and supported. She’s professional, approachable, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. What really sets Trish apart is her genuine care for the members. You can tell she puts her heart into her work, and it makes all the difference! Harbor Fitness itself is clean, well-equipped, and offers everything you need to crush your fitness goals, but it’s people like Trish who make it a place you genuinely look forward to going to. Thank you for your dedication, Trish!

Been coming to this Harbor fitness for about 4 months now and I can say it’s a good overall gym. I’m coming all the way from Long Island and it’s better than my previous gym. Bathrooms are clean, sauna is well maintained and the machines aren’t frequently broken. The gym goers all seem to have mutual respect for each other, which is old school gym culture. We all come from different walks of life and the gym is one place we all can get together for commonalities

I can’t say enough good things about Ally at the front desk of Harbor Fitness. She’s the first friendly face you see when you walk in, and she sets the tone for your entire visit. Whether you need a towel, have questions about your membership, or (like me) occasionally lose your keys, she handles everything with a smile and efficiency that makes you feel like you’re in great hands. What really stands out is her attention to detail and her ability to remember members’ names and preferences—it’s a small thing that makes a huge difference. She’s professional, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels welcome and taken care of. Harbor Fitness is lucky to have her, and she’s a big part of what keeps me coming back. Highly recommend! And congratulations on having a great staff member like Ally.

Staff was able to get me a corporate rate to save me a few bucks which I appreciated. They offer all the necessities I look for in a gym and the locker room including the showers are always clean which is a big plus. I also like how they constantly have staff members walking around to clean up the workout areas. Wish they had more machines to avoid having to wait during busy hours but beggars can’t be choosers. Thanks

I awaken to go to the doctor to be told the terrible news that I am overweight and the scale exceeds the limits of normality. I drop to my knees only to crack under the pressure of my “oversized” body (according to doctor Skidmore). Too many visits to the pizzeria have done a number to my body. I scour the internet for suitable gyms. I stumble across harbor fitness. The closest one to me was the location Strickland. I took the B100, walking to the gym left me out of breath. Before I enter the gym I put my hands on my knees. I look up to be overshadowed by the powerful harbor building. I enter the building to be greeted by a young man with an amazing warming smile. “Hello how may I help you” said the young man. I glance at the name tag revealing his name to be Justin. When I told him about my plight he informed me of the personal training that the facility offers. My eyes plucked up in glee but first I wanted to see what I was getting myself into. Justin took it upon himself to give me a tour! No one has ever treated me like a human before. I even greeted the custodian rocky, I shook his hand he is amazing It warmed my soul. I really enjoyed the bike room and the picture of the boxer amazed me at the artistic credibility. After the tour Justin turned to me and warmly asked if I was interested. I reply gleefully “YES”. As he is signing me up I tell him about my difficulties getting to the gym but how much I loved it. At this point his knowledge of harbor came into play. I was woefully unaware of the presence of a harbor on my block !!!!! Only problem is I have fallen in love with this gym but at some days the travel is too much. Justin then informed me of an option to purchase a membership that transcends location. I could use my membership anywhere!! In Strickland or by my house. My ears couldn’t believe it. My heart cozy. My knees shaking. Harbor is amazing gym and makes me exhilarated for the future and what my body could hold in store. With workers like Justin and rocky harbor feel less like a gym and more like a home. I would invite them over for thanksgiving if they want. I love them. I love harbor. I can’t wait to workout!
