Nice people that work here at this location. They're always doing their absolute best to help everyone they can to go above and beyond. There is a lot more equipment and machines here at this location than the Howard Beach location as well. Also, great tanning beds (bed 2 is my favorite), and all the spa rooms are always always clean. The bathroom/locker room is pretty spacious as well. It's generally always busy, so try to get there earlier in the day, like early morning - 1 pm. Thank you, planet fitness!

I’ve been coming here for a while now and like all the locations, it has its hits and misses. i value the workers here - they are all very nice and respectable and keep the place very clean. my only gripe is that they newly renovated the place and added new machines, which is great but they removed the 30 min express workout area, which was my sole focus of workouts. the machine equivalents aren’t good and put unnecessary wear and tear on the body. the 30 min express machines assisted with keeping good form. i don’t know if they plan to move it or remove it completely but i wish they didn’t. also the new treadmills aren’t good either. they have a slight incline even at 0.0 and they don’t have a cooldown function. the incline puts more stress on the heart and for people who weren’t planning to do that, it’s definitely a shock to the body. overall, it’s a great location. just wish they included public feedback with the renovations.

Great machinery, app tells you how crowded it is before going in, good staff, and great open space

1: Great staff friendly and never on their phones. However their should be signs up for people who stay on their phones holding up machines from people who really working out. 2. Majority of the treadmills don’t work and for the entire 2024 most the bikes didn’t work. That location has a decent crowd sometimes. They should work. 3. Please ,please ,please put a sign at the fountain letting members know that it is not ok to suck tongue the pipe when using the fountain. That is a health hazard and can cause contamination to others. I don’t understand how they don’t be seeing this. 4. It’s a bigger location please put more weights or make the weights section bigger. There’s 80% regular machines and 20 percent weights. It’s not enough to go around for everyone.

Came to this one for the first time at 0700 and already too many people for a Friday morning. Don't YOU PEOPLE WORK? I'm retired. One trainer just to ask a question seemed he had a grudge or chip onn his shoulder. And I had a discussion with a person working out where he took equipment while my back was turned. I rest for a minute just using dumbbells and when I explained to him that I was using he caught an attitude. I could have gone a different route with this guy but I walked away. I don't need these headaches on Day 1, early in the morning. Also, there's missing equipment but someone lent me there's for my workout so now I am buying a few things for myself and not worry about finding it at the gym. The gym is not bad but managers should speak to employees about their attitudes and remind the customers about proper gym etiquette. I don't care if you are from the hood keep it outside and if you are an employee smile and be helpful it's your job. Plus I wish this gym was 24 hrs.
