The 24 Hour Fitness in Kew Gardens is a fantastic gym—clean, organized, and very welcoming! A special shout-out to Ryan for his professionalism and help during the sign-up process. He made everything so easy and was incredibly friendly. Best gym in the area!

This is the worst gym ever. They refused to provide me with a membership after taking my money. I visited in person and called for over a month to resolve the issue, but no action was taken. They started charging me in September 2024, and it’s been over three months since I’ve been unable to use the membership. I do not recommend this gym to anyone. Be aware that they auto-renew memberships and send the notifications to your junk email, so you might not even realize you’re being charged. Interesting how the manager is always “out of the office” whenever I call during their regular work hours. How convenient. 🙂

First, the gym isn't open 24/7. The gym's air conditioner rarely worked here so it would be terribly hot. Equipment would be broken for long periods. Any time there was a problem, it took forever to get resolved. For example, I remember one time it took a month to replace the yoga mats and there were no yoga mats at all during that time. There were also just small areas of this gym that smelled terrible, people who go here know exactly what I'm talking about. Dumbbells were often not re-racked and when they were, they were never organized, it was often hard to find what you were looking for. The same goes for lighter-weight plates, 5 to 10-pound ones. The only reason I didn't give this gym one star is that the people who work out here are nice and they have good-quality plates/barbells. Unfortunately, there are not many better options in the Kew Gardens/forest hills area. If you're willing to venture out a bit, I recommend Crunch Fitness in Richmond Hill.

I have gone to every gym in the Rego Park, Forest Hills, Kew Garden, and Richmond Hill area. I can tell you, right hand on the bible, nothing beats this gym for its value. It has everything you would ever need or want within a world of reason. The gym is plentiful of all the important machines, but even with that at times you have to wait for a machine but at least there's always an alternative around. This gym could turn a couch potato into an Olympian. I came here young, stupid, and weak but I now leave this gym older, stronger, and still quite stupid (sadly this gym can't help with that). 10/10 would Jim again

MY STUFF WAS STOLEN BY GYM STAFF!!!!! Sure I left it overnight but they claim they didn't clip the locks. Two pairs of brand-new sneakers never worn, too...I know it was staff since I'd left at closing time and returned at opening the very next day!!! Aside from that, the same meh-okay facilities and equipment (even the hardwood lifting platform is merely fashionable these days) with disgusting clientele that won't re-rack the weights as anywhere else affordable.
