This gym has to be a health hazard! After the pandemic, you’d think that businesses would take every necessary precaution to protect themselves and others. That’s not the case here. The staff is not to blame, they are wonderful. This is actually due to the lack of staff and the patrons. Piscataway members, you should be ashamed of yourselves! Members leave their trash, clothing, and personal items all over the gym. It shows a lack of integrity, self respect, and respect to others. Majority of the members leave equipment all over the place which makes it hard to find what you’re looking for. This is the filthiest gym I’ve ever been to. The amount of dust in this establishment is deplorable! I am cancelling my membership today. The amenities (sauna, steam room, pool) are not enough to keep me. This gym needs to go back to the drawing board and reevaluate their priorities because at this point, their only mission seems to be to make money. Dear 24 Hour Fitness, I’ve read the comments. Save your copy and paste reply and actually take some action to get your gym in order.

The sauna is the best part due to it being often crowded. Yet it is constantly dirty with employees who do nothing. I asked an employee if they were hiring, and he replied never. Came back to ask supervisor and I was told they are definitely hiring. People here are unsanitary, unscrupulous and it cost too much to be dirty during these times of communicable sickness. They need to do much better. Machines have 2 years of dirt and dust on them. Imagine everything else we touch that doesn't get cleaned. SMH

One of the best gyms for all the fitness enthusiasts- Beginners to Pros! It’s more of a club with a basketball court, swimming pool, hot tub, steam and sauna! As the name implies it’s open for 24hours. I love this place. If you are around Piscataway, you should definitely try this place out!

The basketball court here is basically a skiing rink, no grip on the ground even with the best basketball shoes, people slip and fall on the floor so easily especially on dryer days. I’m not the best basketball player but my experience is expected to be better than battling to keep balance and not fall all the time like I’m skiing without proper equipment. Most of the players here have to spend a lot of time rubbing the bottom of their shoes. Apart from the questionable collection of dumbbells they have here, the basketball court really throws me off and makes me reconsider where I wanna work out

Been going to this location for around 2 years. Pros: 1. Good variety and quantity of equipment- Benches, squat racks, smith, free weights, stairs/treadmills/ellipticals, etc… 2. Maintenance of equipment - Not bad. Stuff breaks given high volume of use. Longest I’ve seen something out of service is about 1-2 months which may seem long, but not bad in comparison to other gyms. Everything gets fixed eventually. 3. Front Desk- Never really talk to them but usually get a smile/nod/hello/goodbye when I’m coming or leaving if I make eye contact lol Cons: 1. Cleanliness- A. Locker rooms (men’s) - floor is usually clear (no physical garbage), but smells kinda rancid. Coat storage/taking a piss is fine. Would not use the shower or walk around without shoes on. B. Entire gym - not great, not bad. Could use regular vacuuming. Water fountains could be kept cleaner (hygiene/health thing) 2. Water filter- Water fountain by locker rooms has bottle filler. Please change the filter….after light went off, water pressure dropped too. Been like this for more than a few weeks 3. Activeness of staff Never seen anyone rerack weights. Aside from the 1-2 dedicated cleaning staff, never seen anyone clean/maintain actual gym (multiple people just chill at from desk area). Good gym overall. Even at peak crowded times, can usually get a decent workout in without waiting too long. If staff puts a little more effort into maintaining the actual gym floor, could improve the place by a lot.
