Amerikick Medford

I started my Daughter here in February. In a few months she has changed so much for the better. She has confidence, pride and continues to evolve as a leader when she was previously a quiet follower. She has learned not just the physical aspects but the positive mindset that can be gained in karate. The Sensei's are all truly amazing in the way they interact with and encourage the students. They help bring out the best in the students and guide them through everything with understanding and respect. Amerikick has helped my daughter start to evolve into a well rounded person and they continue to inspire her in every session. They are truly an asset to her life and I am so glad I found them. They are definitely the 'village' needed to help raise kids!

This facility and location is clean, friendly, and not overly packed, but has well attended classes. I just took my second class with Amy and she is an amazing instructor. Her cues and motivation are perfectly timed and executed. I actually live a mile away from another location, but drive the 25 minutes to this class so that I can take Amy Tynons classes! She teaches every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and you should absolutely check out her classes, especially if you like a challenge. The owners are welcoming and seem to run a great location.

I’ve kickboxed here for about 8 years - even through both of my pregnancies! The instructors are amazing and you can modify your workout no matter where your fitness level is and you work every part of your body so you get the most out of your hour! Plus it feels so good to hit those bags! My son has also been taking karate at Amerikick since he was 3 and I can’t say enough good things about the karate instructors as well - I love how they have helped with his focus and teach him life lessons on how to be a good person and take care of himself and others. Thank you so much Amerikick!

Starting taking classes about 3 years ago...love it! Kickboxing classes are amazing, never get tired of the routine! Karate has been awesome for my 8 year. Has learned about commitment, endurance, and patience, as well as all the karate moves. I also love being an instructor there. I was so motivated by the other instructors that I wanted to motivate others! Great place, great co-workers, and great owners!!

This review is from a student's experience. I have been taking karate here for 10 years now and I absolutely love it. I wouldn't go anywhere else. It teaches amazing self-defense while also building upon concentration, maturity, and confidence. All of the senseis here are amazing and very helpful. I have made so many friends growing up here and it is such an amazing place. When I was 4 I had always looked up to each and every black belt. Student or not. Now, being one, I love helping out each and every student and hoping with all of my heart that they will stay the whole journey. I love hearing all of sensei mike's lectures about bullying or confidence or being good in school, and I hope to here many more in the upcoming years. I love this place so much, and would recommend it to anybody. To anyone who wants to do karate here or is doing karate here, always remember, "A black belt is a white belt that never quit." Asa!
