Pros: They have a spacious location with the newest equipment. This location is very clean and the staff has always been helpful. Cons: Extremely crowded anytime between 3-10 pm on weekdays and 8-12 on Saturday. It's overcrowded to the point that the limited weight section is unusable for most. People claim machines for hours at a time with towels and shirts left on equipment for multiple claims between equipment. The elliptical machines and treadmills seem plentiful. Anything strength related will be a 85% no go during peak hours. My best advice would be to lower your expectations when visiting Takoma Park PF. Off peak hours are highly recommended. Here's a picture of an unattended leg extension with water, phone and keys holding up the machine while the member is on a treadmill.

I was at This gym. There was a man that stink worse than a garbage truck, man I’m talking about over 10,000 but a hero came today, Febreze man and employee, save the day by splashing for breeze everywhere, every inch of the gym 10 out of 10 experience

Between 5 and 11pm, this gym is too crowded to be usable if you only have an hour to work out. The waits are too long for most of the weight lifting machines, and the squat racks and leg press especially have people hogging them for an hour at a time. It's really too bad because it's a nice gym and location with nice staff, but PF sells too many memberships (yes, it's a great deal!) and too many members spend hours there and monopolize equipment. The aerobic machines seem plentiful and available but not the strength equipment.

The facility is clean. Great parking. Staff unprofessional, especially Mr. Sal (personal trainer on duty). Please contact me if more information is needed regarding Mr. Sal unprofessionalism. I would not recommend this facility if you need help with equipment because the staff is clueless. I thought the trainer would know how to operate the equipment. When I became a member years ago... they would have someone showing around the store to show how to operate different pieces. I would highly recommend going to the Landover location for trainer needs and also proper use of equipment items. If you are looking for a clean place... this is the spot. Thanks. P.s. You may end up in ER or contacting your Dr. if ur new to working out because of unproper use of equipment and movements. I'm a black card member and I travel and use different facilities all over. ✌️

Joined this gym yesterday online and went for the first time today! I went mid-morning and there were people, but I was able to get to everything I wanted to do without issue. Glows - staff was very welcoming and Adam gave me a tour of the facility! I've actually been a PF member at another club before, but I appreciated it. He also asked me questions about my goals which I appreciated! Equipment was all working properly. Wondering- there were 2 people in the 30 minute training area (that I did after my cardio) and they were not using it for the 30 minute workout. Honestly just curious why they did this since the machines like it in the other area appeared to be free. I just worked around them and had to change my order once or twice because of it.
