I have been a part of the Yoga Heights community for a few years now and just love the company's newest studio location in Takoma Park. If you are looking for quality yoga in a welcoming environment, this is the place for you! All of the classes are thoughtfully taught by the studio's lineup of incredible teachers -- I think I've been to almost every class they offer -- and leave you feeling energized and ready to take on the day. It is so easy to hop to a class -- it's a 2 minute walk from the metro -- and the quality of the yoga is top-notch for the price. I've tried all different classes here and have loved each and every class I've taken. I also love the decor and ambiance of this YHDC location -- it is so light-filled and open! I feel instantly at ease when I step inside the studio doors! I also just completed my 200 YTT here and can't recommend it enough -- Jess and Angela are wonderful teacher teachers! Do yourself a favor and visit the studio ASAP!

Just had a fantastic yoga flow class with Amy. Wonderful teacher providing nuances to further your practice and elevate your poses. Really nice clean studio with a friendly and helpful staff. No need to look further.

Yoga Heights Takoma, and DC locations, had a fantastic experience at all times. My daughter Indigo, was one of the yoga instructors and my first visit to both location along with DC. Had the most incredible experience in the studio. Since COVID I made sure I did yoga at home. Nevertheless, had no experience in yoga but as I kept going to learn different positions and poses just started doing yoga at home. My daughter kept me going to yoga classes when she was here but now since she live in NYC, I truly missed her motivation and determination throughout our time in yoga classes along with my sister. Keep up the great, and if I could give you a (10) stars I would. Will be attending the Hawaii retreat in May 2024. Thank You, are the best!.

I got a 6 month membership while I was living in the Silver Spring/Takoma area, and, while I was initially nervous about the cost and how frequently I'd use it, I find myself heartbroken now that I am moving away and can no longer be a part of this vibrant yoga community. I only went to the Takoma location and did online classes - the studio was clean and well-lit. With the help of the teachers, I was able to take my yoga practice to the next level (I would consider myself intermediate, with a steady 1-2x/week practice for the past 5 years). I loved that many teachers offered hands-on assists (for those open to that), which helped me recognize when my alignment was subtly off, and just generally contributed to a connected, community experience. Special recommendations/shout outs to Jonathan's 10 am Wednesday morning flow and Stacy's Friday 5:15 pm flow: these two classes brought a sense of magic, fun, and strength to my weeks. And many thanks to Naomi for being the most welcoming front desk assistant, and Serena for being so responsive and kind to my email inquiries.
