I’ve been attending CorePower Yoga at City Center for months now, and it’s been such a positive experience. The community that shows up to these classes makes it incredibly easy to stay motivated—everyone is encouraging, open, and welcoming. It truly feels like a space where people support one another. The trainers are exceptional. They keep the routines fresh and engaging while breaking down the moves to ensure everyone understands. They also go above and beyond by checking our positions during class to help prevent injury, which I deeply appreciate. Some even add thoughtful touches, like fanning us with scented towels at the end of class, making the experience feel extra special. If you’re looking for a holistic approach to health, this is absolutely the place to be. However, one thing I’ve noticed is a lack of racial diversity in the classes. It often feels like it caters to a single target demographic, and I’m not sure if this is due to marketing strategies or a lack of community outreach. I hope this is something they work on in the future, as a more inclusive environment would make this amazing space even better. Overall, I highly recommend CorePower Yoga at City Center for anyone looking to improve their health in a supportive, uplifting community.

The best! The staff here is super friendly, helpful, and top-notch. I’ve visited Corepower Yoga locations around the country and feel like the instructors here are in a league of their own! The studio is big and has lots of natural light which is a big plus, as well as a nice variety of class offerings. It’s centrally located downtown and a 5 minute walk to/from the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro which makes it super convenient to get to!

Good, clean facility, really nice staff. Convenient location for convention center attendees. Hot Power Fusion class wasn’t too hot - temp gauge was up but heater is competing with the cold from outside hitting the wall of windows. Two single stall restrooms per dressing rooms designated “women” and “men”

I did a drop in class while visiting DC from NJ. It was much needed. This class was not for the weak at heart. I would definitely visit whenever back in DC.

This was my first time at a corepower in DC. The staff was so nice, it was a great location and cool studio. However, it might have been one of the worst yoga classes I have taken. The instructor was very kind but was not a great teacher. Would go back but maybe skip the sculpt class.
