Needed a shower near work so I signed up for planet fitness. I went one day and wasn’t satisfied with the cleanliness of the shower so I asked for a refund. Representative said shower was clean and she didn’t find any mold. Representative refused to give me a refund, even though I only went one day.

I think Julie is a great manager. She is very approachable and is always kind and receptive of feedback. From what I’ve seen, she does a good job at delegating tasks and is constantly involved with her employees. I was skeptical about joining Planet after coming from Chelsea Piers, but was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness, cleaning stations, and the modern equipment I needed to accomplish my workouts. A few things I don’t like: I find the bag policy to be very stupid. While I understand it is to protect one’s valuables, I think it is inconvenient/ frustrating for someone like me who only carries around my gym equipment to put it in a locker. Also, to be noted—The gym etiquette of members at times can be obnoxious. I think it’s inconsiderate to monopolize multiple machines at a time especially on busy days/times. This happens most often with the cable machine. If there were more available, it’d be fine but as of now it’s just annoying.

Julie is a great manager. She’s warm and welcoming and always says hello. If I ever need help with anything she’s happy to help me. It’s a great gym to work out at. Check it out you will be glad you did. Matt L.

Started going consistently in December and i am still a member. Great vibe, spacious and clean. Ive lost 56 pounds at this gym. Theres a before December 2nd 2023, and then after July 14th 2024.

I liked the atmosphere. When it was hot in the summer, the manager ordered extra fans and air conditioners. Broken things are fixed right away. Always clean. Good employees.After Yulia became the manager the gym changed for the better. Wonderful person.
