I have attended the classes here for 3 months. The instructors are nice, front desk is clean, class is not as intense as I like but is ok. I think their biggest problem is hygiene. The classes are usually overcrowded and heated, people sweat and thus the floor is wet here and there after class. I need to be cautious to not step on other's sweat paddle when walk out. Classrooms smell pretty bad (smells like sweat and armpit), and the floor is dirty and sticky. It's easy to be touched by other sweaty people during the class due to everyone is so close to each other. The yoga blocks feel very dirty too (also smells bad). They can do a better job at cleaning.

Very poor place to practice yoga. Difficult to park, non friendly personal, lockers with no locks given -wow, messy bathrooms, untidy yoga room, no spots left in the practice room although I arrived 10 minutes before the class. What else do you need not to do yoga again? Or, that's right, high prices. They have it, too.

I went to several classes this week at santa clara square studio and noticed the yoga teachers lack spatial awareness, some worse than others. Today's class was pretty packed and the instructor kept meandering through the cramped space every minute of the class which is extremely disruptive. She was either walking right in front of me or was hoping behind my mat as she paced around the studio without any purpose. I was unable to do my chatarangas because her feet were right by my face most of the class and she blocked my view of the mirror as she kept pacing through the class like a bumble bee. A fellow yogi who was doing a chataranga kicked her accidently in the face but she still did not get the message that she is way to close to everyone and giving no one space to actually focus on their postures. I was so disgusted and left the class early.

Lack of consistency with heat and intensity of workout based on instructor. Major issues with sanitation as the floors are usually pretty dirty and puddles of sweat are common. I had several poor experiences with instructor named Valeria Tapia, very passive aggressive and rude. I noticed she stomped over my stuff during previous classes and today she aggressively whipped a towel inches from my face during final Shivasna. This instructor needs to be fired.

I’m 3min late. Door is locked. No one will open the door for you. I end up finishing my own YouTube workout outside their gate. I think the instructor saw me. But I guess she wouldn’t care to address me who is late and supposed to be punished. If you have a tight daily schedule, you probably need to consider another studio. Overall, great customer experience and feel loved : )
