LA Fitness

Great location and friendly staff. However, the machines are really old and they always break and remain out of service for a while, it doesn’t seem like the owners care about the place anymore since there are many old machines that never get replaced.

This is EASILY the worst gym I’ve ever been to… the employees are rude and unknowledgeable, the equipment is old and outdated and the steam room hasn’t worked in 3 months. The YMCA down the street on Carson has much newer, better equipment, a great sauna and friendly, professional employees. My suggestion to anyone looking for a gym is to stay far away from LA Fitness on Carson

Unfortunately due to terrible customer service and non-communication with my situation from the gym and being told lies about my account, I decided to cancel my membership today. Every time I asked to speak with a manager, there was an excuse and one of them was "Oh, sorry it's a little hard getting a hold of a manager in person/on site sometimes they go to other sites." I would highly recommend that you train your staff and to keep things honest and professional at all times. As I close out my time with la fitness until November, I pray that things improve starting with leadership. Thank you kindly! Much love :)

The rates could be better for what's offered. Was really only interested in a pool for lap swimming that is easy to get to. Pool has thee lanes and every time I've gone, so far, at least one is closed off to accommodate private children's swimming lessons through the back door. No clear signage or instruction for patrons on hygien practices with swimming pools so it looks like most people just walk around on one end to cool off from the jacuzzi & dry sauna adjacent to the pool and I'mfaurly sure there is no spigot to rinse off in that area regardless. No marker flags so backstroke can be difficult to time and risky. Pool is clearly not maintained/cleaned properly and the lack of circulation in the area makes the whole area smell like mold. Locker rooms are nice until getting back to the bathroom/shower area where there are obvious water damaged and old materials. The staff are pushy and rude during the membership process and never offered an option for a trail period, rather I was told I'd have five days to cancel after signing up. Was continuously pressured to sign up for additional member services including workout/dietary plans and fitness goals that I had no interest in. If it wasn't the most convenient location, I would much rather go somewhere else.

3,8 it's should be lower the gym never clean things always breaking down rude and unprofessional manger the janitor always following you every where she dont be cleaning nothing she run her mouth to other people then push the mop (MISS THIS GYM IF POSSIBLE THEY SHOULDN'T BE OPEN ITS ONLY 4 OR 5 EMPLOYEES WHO ALWAYS NICE TO ME THE OTHERS ONES ARE DIFFERENT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARN MONEY HERE. ) My first review, I was talking about a DIFFERENT MANAGER, not the one they have now she is the WORST I have seen since I been working out for over 10 years The people give the 5 star was not been honest !!!
