Power of One Self-Defense - Long Beach

Absolutely amazing! My son has been attending for about 18 months and can't get enough. He loves the classes because they're fun and all of the instructors are so motivating. I love the positivity, and the important life lessons they're learning along the way, like focus, leadership, respect, confidence, and hard work. They even have special programs for parents wanting to learn self-defense and get fit. PO1 is a great organization and i'm glad to have it in our community.

Our family has been attending Power of One 4 days a week for several years now. Among the things for which we are so grateful is the clear increase in confidence this training has allowed for our kids. We used to hear a lot of complaints about teasing and other types of social conflict. Very shortly after starting their training, we stopped hearing these complaints. It is unlikely that the frequency of those conflicts has decreased. Rather, our kids are just less troubled by it because they are more confident in themselves. Our kids say, ’it is the best. We love it. it’s really fun and the best place to learn self-defense.’

Mrs.V and the Power of One team is absolutely the best! They offer the best classes, share meaningful messages with kids, have an amazing instructors, and set a wonderful example as a local business and a role model. I am so grateful we found PO1 and that our boys are part of the Power of One Self-Defense Headquarters in Long Beach! Looking forward to many more years with the PO1 team! Thank you!

I highly recommend this place, which is a place where they teach the meaning of "yes, you can do it." My boys' confidence has increased tremendously as to where they started. The dedication the instructors give to each student is amazing. Thank you for the patience everyone has given my boys, I appreciate it. ❤️

PO1 Long Beach has been great. Teachers are very patient and great with students. My 2 kids have loved training at this location.
