I have attended the classes here for 3 months. The instructors are nice, front desk is clean, class is not as intense as I like but is ok. I think their biggest problem is hygiene. The classes are usually overcrowded and heated, people sweat and thus the floor is wet here and there after class. I need to be cautious to not step on other's sweat paddle when walk out. Classrooms smell pretty bad (smells like sweat and armpit), and the floor is dirty and sticky. It's easy to be touched by other sweaty people during the class due to everyone is so close to each other. The yoga blocks feel very dirty too (also smells bad). They can do a better job at cleaning.

Very poor place to practice yoga. Difficult to park, non friendly personal, lockers with no locks given -wow, messy bathrooms, untidy yoga room, no spots left in the practice room although I arrived 10 minutes before the class. What else do you need not to do yoga again? Or, that's right, high prices. They have it, too.

I went to several classes this week at santa clara square studio and noticed the yoga teachers lack spatial awareness, some worse than others. Today's class was pretty packed and the instructor kept meandering through the cramped space every minute of the class which is extremely disruptive. She was either walking right in front of me or was hoping behind my mat as she paced around the studio without any purpose. I was unable to do my chatarangas because her feet were right by my face most of the class and she blocked my view of the mirror as she kept pacing through the class like a bumble bee. A fellow yogi who was doing a chataranga kicked her accidently in the face but she still did not get the message that she is way to close to everyone and giving no one space to actually focus on their postures. I was so disgusted and left the class early.

Lack of consistency with heat and intensity of workout based on instructor. Major issues with sanitation as the floors are usually pretty dirty and puddles of sweat are common. I had several poor experiences with instructor named Valeria Tapia, very passive aggressive and rude. I noticed she stomped over my stuff during previous classes and today she aggressively whipped a towel inches from my face during final Shivasna. This instructor needs to be fired.

I’m 3min late. Door is locked. No one will open the door for you. I end up finishing my own YouTube workout outside their gate. I think the instructor saw me. But I guess she wouldn’t care to address me who is late and supposed to be punished. If you have a tight daily schedule, you probably need to consider another studio. Overall, great customer experience and feel loved : )

I come to this gym place at the first time. Evrything is cleaning, equipments are new and modern. Guys are still doing workout, eventhose time is at 1:00 am. I start Star Trac machine for my exercising.

Dirty around equipment, machines are always broken, not enough equipment, and it's almost always packed with people. Some people sit on the equipment and look at their phone for several minutes at a time. If I ask if I can work in, 50/50 chance they will say no (indirectly, "I have 3 more sets") Rude! Our contracts say we have to share equipment. Staff is not supportive. I talked to the manager a couple of times. He doesn't do anything about any of the above. They really don't care. I go to other locations now. They're at least clean and equipment works! I noticed others have complained on these reviews and they get a rubber-stamp response. Nothing still gets done! I have complained to corporate a few times. No changes. I recommend they get rid of the manager there and get someone who cares! No excuses!

I came to 24 Hour Fitness at the El Camino Real and Lawrence Expressway location. I was trying to work out and take a shower. All stalls were taken, I waited a little bit to use the one had no cold water. Terrible experience.

I joined the 24-Hour Fitness in Santa Clara two days ago, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The gym is far from meeting even basic cleanliness standards. The mirrors are smudged and unclean, the water cooler area is dusty and unhygienic, and the floors are in such poor condition that doing push-ups feels unappealing. The weight racks and equipment are also dirty, and the entire space lacks the sense of cleanliness you’d expect from a gym, especially one located in the city. Despite the presence of janitors, the cleaning appears inadequate and poorly executed. Sweeping with brooms instead of proper vacuuming or regular deep cleaning does little to address the visible dirt and dust. The bathrooms are no better—they’re unsanitary and uninviting, adding to the overall sense that this is not a well-maintained facility. Given its location and reputation, I expected much higher standards from this gym. A clean and hygienic environment is the bare minimum for any fitness center, and sadly, this location falls far short. Until these issues are addressed, I would not recommend this gym to others.

Trainer Stephen is encouraging in a fun "you can do" it manner. Lots of variety and keeps one interested! Highly recommend him and his team! The gym and pool area are clean, in great shape. Classes are varied.

Parking situation is getting worse and worse. Today I parked my car in the lot during my visit. When I returned, I found another car parked so close to mine that I couldn't even open my door to get in. This was particularly frustrating because there were plenty of other parking spots available at the time. While I understand that parking behavior is the responsibility of individual drivers, I believe Bay Club could improve the situation by encouraging better parking practices or adding clear guidelines to ensure members are considerate of others. I hope management takes this feedback into account and implements measures to avoid such inconveniences in the future.

I go there mainly for the steam room and sauna, but unfortunately, they are always either broken or dirty. A while ago, the steam room was out of order for almost two months, today also broken and so dirty with a bad smell and I was just paying extra for nothing. This club seems to focus more on raising prices rather than improving quality.

One of my favorite gyms! Two swimming pools and spacious workout area. Nice sauna and steam room. Also has basketball court and ping pong tables. And many Tennis Courts, always clean and friendly staff

I’ve been a member of Bay Club for a while, but unfortunately, the experience has been getting worse. The gym is often overcrowded, making it difficult to find available equipment. In the women’s locker room, lockers frequently lock themselves, requiring staff assistance to open them, which is quite inconvenient. Additionally, the changing area is always packed, making it hard to find space. I hope management can address these issues to improve the overall experience.

A very underwhelming gym for the price ( which they keep increasing ALL THE TIME, over $500 increase in 1 year with literally NO significant changes to the gym) The good: - sauna and steam room is a nice luxury to have. Not many gyms in the Bay Area have this. - if you value pickleball /swimming pool then you will like the facilities for this, they are big ! -multiple power racks for weight lifting. You don’t have your standard 2 racks that most gyms have so you can typically find one open in the morning. - free coffee in the mornings is a nice perk! Great way to start the day after a workout The bad : - Gym Equipment: you get very standard and outdated weight lifting equipment for the price you pay. You will get your standard bench press, dumbbells, a couple of traditional machines and that’s it. No new modern machines that you see on YouTube now in days. all of the equipment is very underwhelming for a gym of this price. You will find MORE machines at a city sport for 80% of the price. It does not make sense. - the buildings: the gym is divided into 2 major buildings. The area with the dumbbells and smith machine is very well lit, has windows, is clean, and just feels like a premium gym. The other building is old, shitty carpet, bad paint, and is where they basically threw all their shitty machines in. Since they separate half of the lifting machines this way, you have to cross from one building to another for some workouts which basically limits your ability to do power sets. Again, for the price this is very underwhelming - the hours: they open at 6 on weekdays and 8 on weekends. If you are someone that likes to workout early and make it to work on time, these hours are terrible. -use of space: this will be highly biased and subjective b/c I don’t have kids but there’s a huge playground area that never gets used. I don’t know why they don’t use this space for fitness. -staff don’t greet you, they seem unhappy to be there. Overall I don’t see this worth the price for what it offers. Price increases without any significant changes to the gym leave a very bad taste in your mouth. They keep saying “exciting new projects” and literally see nothing significant to address these issues (other people in the reviews have stated the similar feedback for some time now).
