I began working out at this location around October 2023. Atmosphere was good, staff was fairly attentive. But here's where the trouble begins. In March 2024 there was a promo listed on the Planet Fitness app stating I could upgrade my basic membership to the Black Card+ with no commitment. This is a rarity so I jumped at the chance. Yesterday, December 9, I visited the club to cancel my membership due to being unable to visit as often as I would like. I was informed by the staff member that I was under a commitment and would have to pay the $60 contract buyout. I was confused and she said that after upgrading I was now under a commitment plan. I paid the $60 and left. After leaving, I reviewed the contract I was sent after upgrading in March and it said I was under a 12 month commitment. Had I known this going into this whole thing I would have just held on to my membership. I returned to the club a few minutes later to request to reactivate my membership and have the $60 buyout refunded. The next staff member told me I would need to contact Planet Fitness corporate. I sent two requests through the PF website to have someone contact me and both requests yielded auto-generated emails saying to contact the club directly. I called the club and they connected me to what I assume was the PF corporate help line. I was told that since my membership was now closed I would have to start over from scratch to renew my membership and I was out $60. Now, maybe the issue is with the PF app advertising a promo this club didn't honor but this is a horrible bait-and-switch tactic I fell for. I should have read the contract before finalizing the agreement. All this to say, be wary of Planet Fitness in general if these are the type of business tactics they engage in.

Unbelievably clean! At 4 am I started working out and I NEVER saw Stefan stop cleaning the entire time I was there! I will 100% come back again when in town for future visits!

At the Gym and its now 7:41am. Guess nobody showed up to open and overslept or called out last minute. I get it things happen but, guess my workout is not going to happen today and have to head to work. This is the 3rd time this has happened since signing up. Unfortunately management won’t know for a while when they see members aren’t being logged in or however its tracked. On the plus the equipment and atmosphere is pretty good and the workers are nice.

5 stars for the team members. Everyone is kind and super friendly. 💖 The low rating is for the functionality of equipment. Over the last 9 months or so I have noticed more and more equipment not being in working order. I went in December and a handful of treadmills were not working and a massage chair was missing completely. ;(

This was my first time there. The staff was great and answered all my sign up questions. They were great at explaining all the benefits and accommodations Planet Fitness offers. Sign up was a breeze and I was able to workout that same day. Thank you!

I would have given them a 0. *DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT with Golds!! They will NOT cancel your membership even after you submit a request & continue charging you until the end of your contract date. Their contract reads that you can cancel with a 30 day notice but they WILL NOT HONOR THIS. You’ll need to take legal actions. Find a Crunch Fitness instead- they have month to month cheaper with more amenities & better equipment.

Awesome gym, the counter staff were professional and friendly. Gym was super clean and had everything I needed. Biggest plus was the sauna. I will go back every time I visit my wife in Round Rock.

All the equipment was clean and organized. This location is an identical Floorplan to my Pflugerville home studio. The equipment was organized slightly differently, so I had to locate a few machines. I love the attention to details. Great value for a gym.

They make you walk in to cancel, which I had no problem with. When I canceled my membership, I mentioned I'm moving out the country the person at the front said they'll make sure they take care of it since I didn't have my phone to take a picture of the paper they make you fill. Fast forward from April, I noticed they are still charging my card . They said they'll call back, and I should email the manager. I get a call back, and they say they don't have it in their record. The manager replied to 1 email. Then sent me a cancellation email and that I'll be charged for another cycle. The kicker is of I want to contest the charges over these months, they direct me to call 866-465-3775 which when you call you'll be on hold for hours and if you change to see if you can leave a voice mail the voice mail is full. It feels like they took advantage of my trust of the place to accomplish a simple task. By the way, the cotrct you sign at the beginning doesn't mention you have to take a picture of documents that you sign for cancellation.

Well its a clean location. Not set up as well as others but certainly will do. You have to request bands or other accessories from the front desk. They are civil but not overly friendly. If you like the hello welcome to Gold’s when you walk in, it didn’t happen here. I’m from another state and found this location while traveling. It’s heavily focused on the machines and racks with a small calisthenics or stretch area. Restroom is labeled well and clean too!

This gym is my new HAPPY PLACE. Well-staffed. All employees are very friendly, attentive & very professional. Great selections and numbers of equipment. Group instructors are very enthusiastic and motivating. Very roomy & well-lit. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Recovery Zone & sauna. The staff always make sure they clean the beds so there is no smell & very clean. I feel good after working out and relaxed after going to the sauna, red light therapy and hydro-massage. Good membership pricing & worth every penny . 10/10. Highly recommended. Friendly Suggestion: Have 2 available computers to check-in member for Recovery Zone instead of just one.

Very very disappointing experience at this gym. I forgot my badge, and the staff told me they couldn't look me up in their system because the location 2 miles down the road (also a Crunch Fitness) isn’t part of their system. I asked if I could still try the gym, but they refused, saying I’d have to buy a day pass since they couldn’t verify my membership. What’s frustrating is that you’ll take me at my word that I’m a member at another Crunch location if it means I’ll pay for a day pass. However, you won’t take me at my word that I’m a member at this gym and let me work out without buying a pass. So, essentially, my word only counts when it results in you making money. I’m now heading to Planet Fitness instead. Sure, most of the people there are fat, but at least they treat people with kindness and respect, which is more than I can say about this place. Update I was skeptical of going to a gym with a hydration station sponsored by Pepsi. However, upon entering, I found that, despite the complete lack of free weights at Planet Fitness—the gym I was forced to go to because of the staff at Crunch—I found it to be... delightful. Everyone there looked homely, the staff was largely non-attentive, and the facility was borderline clean—exactly what I expected. Do I believe I’ll be able to achieve any of my goals at Planet Fitness? Absolutely not. Did I have a better chance over at Crunch when I was paying $200+ per month for a personal trainer? You betcha. Was it money well spent at Crunch? Absolutely. Would I spend that money again? Yes, yes, I probably would. But unfortunately, I can't—because their system doesn't communicate with the Round Rock location just a couple of miles away. Oh wait, they’re both in Round Rock. So, do I think I’m going to hit my fitness goals this year? Absolutely not. But hey, that’s what Ozempic is for. Oh yeah and they gave me a free Tootsie roll over at planet fitness. yum yum

I was really excited to join this Crunch Fitness location, especially since I’ve had great experiences at other Crunch gyms in the past. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. The gym itself is new and clean, which is great, but it always seems to be at capacity indoors, making workouts feel cramped. It’s spread across three levels, but the elevator is unreliable, so be prepared for a lot of stairs. Booking an online class is nearly impossible, which is frustrating for those who enjoy group workouts. And if you’re coming during prime workout hours, good luck finding parking—the lot is a challenge. I really wanted to be a regular here, but it’s tough when I can’t even get in the building most days! Hoping they improve accessibility and capacity management soon.

Decent equipment, men’s locker room is small compared to the golds down the street. Sauna is nice. It’s always very warm in the gym, you will sweat instantly. I own some nice headphones and I can still hear the music from the gyms speakers. Super loud. Very loud.

I’ve been going to this location for a couple months now. Anytime is smaller and private but that’s the whole point of this gym. I see a lot of regulars and I like this gym over my last location because: People wipe machines and mats after use Management is present and they navigate the gym with respect for members There aren’t a bunch of people recording themselves working out It has a good balance of friendliness and people who get in, workout, and get out. The group classes can make the gym busy and feel crowded, so far I’ve been able to work around the classes. Personally, I think this gym hosts great group classes, it’s nice to see people put in some work and enjoy it! Small gyms like this I avoid the after work hours 4-7pm because they are usually busy. Any other time of the day it’s empty or mildly busy.

I started going to this Anytime Fitness earlier this year after switching over from Gold's and I will say so far it has been great. I didn't think Anytime was a great gym after going to one many years ago, but this Anytime is a good one if not the best that I have been to. It is fairly spacious and has plenty of equipment, namely 3 dedicated squat racks (2 of which with deadlift platforms) and other equipment that you would actually want to use at the gym. The staff is really friendly and the gym is kept super clean. It seems the gym is pretty new so all the equipment is also pretty much brand new and even the bumper plates are nice and gucci. I only wish the gym was a little bigger but I think part of the appeal of the gym is that it isn't too big and it doesn't feel packed even when there's a class going on. I'd definitely recommend this Anytime as it's been a great experience for me so far and if this keeps up I'll be looking like cbum in a few months. Oh yeah and they have a fruit basket with fresh fruit. 11/10

Just wow! This new location just opened up and it still smells and looks absolutely amazing! They have a crazy amount and different types of weights you can use, including most if not all the equipment you find in a HIIT or CrossFit gym, which I really appreciate. They also have all the latest and greatest gadgets/gizmos to make your workout easier (I.e. attachments for hip thrusts and Bulgarian squats just to name a few). In the front, they also have closed lockers which I find great when I have my purse or other items with me that I like to put away. The staff, and especially Steve (always greets you with a smile), are very warm and friendly and there to help. One last thing, let’s please commit to keeping this place clean (wiping down equipment after each use), new, friendly and overall amazing gym!

I love this gym! It’s a smaller gym but it has everything I need for all my workouts and is honestly never too crowded to where you feel like you’re waiting all the time to use something. I also like the friendly, modern, and clean environment. You don’t have to worry about machines and equipment being broken all the time. The staff is also very nice and always greets you with a smile. I’ve also received personal training with Nancy, who in a short amount of time helped me improve tremendously.

I would definitely say it’s a positive change in daily life. The coach and team are incredibly humble and welcoming, no matter where you’re starting from—whether you’ve tried different workouts in the past, had intermittent efforts, or are completely new. It feels less like just a class or session to attend and forget, and more like building a lifelong habit. The team is amazing at encouraging and supporting you every step of the way. If you’re thinking about joining OBK Fitness & Nutrition, I’d say go for it—it’s a transformative experience!

I NEVER thought I'd be a gym person, a person who looks forward to working out, a person who schedules things around the gym. But here I am! After doing personal training at OBK for almost 2 years my whole view of exercise has changed. It can be fun. Who knew?! All the coaches are approachable, friendly, encouraging, and kind. I was so intimidated at first but they really do welcome people from ALL levels of fitness without judgment; from a couch potato looking for a change to a competition winner and everyone in between.

Beware of cancelation fee $99. It's in the contract when you sign, but it still stings when you are canceling because you can't afford the $63 a mo. In case you are wondering, my first payment was $123. On a positive note, it's always clean, and the employees are super nice.

Today I had the pleasure of experiencing a service that truly exceeded my expectations, all thanks to the new management and new ownership at the University location. I pointed out a small hazard with one of the saunas and before I finished my session, the small issue was already being repaired. It wasn't a major problem, and I truly did not think they would get to it that quickly. I was very impressed with such quick response. It is clear that a fresh approach has been implemented by this new team. The attention to detail is remarkable – no aspect of the customer experience was overlooked. It is evident that the new management truly cares about the quality they provide. It's refreshing to see a team that focuses on the finer details without sacrificing the bigger picture. The improvements are noticeable, and I look forward to seeing how this new ownership continues to enhance the experience. Highly impressed and excited for the new year!

I’ve joined hotworx about 4 months ago and it has been amazing, everyone is so friendly and supportive, the most I like about this gym is how organized it is, they manage a really nice app where you can check the workout you would like to do with times and also if someone will be there with you or not, I like how secure it is, you only need your code or your phone to go in, they offer water fountain, and a really cool snack and drink machine, have to mention the amazing work the owner Carmen does, always being so nice and welcoming I love talking to her !

My account was on pause due to personal health issues which made it so I could not be in the sauna. They then took my account off hold and charged my account with no notice. I recommended that they just use it towards a cancellation and to take my account off hold but they refused to put it towards my cancellation fee even though I was not using the facility. They do not care about pregnant ladies or beast feeding mamas. It’s very sad because I transferred from out of state and did not expect this kind of service.

As a runner/triathlete I'm always looking for new ways to train my body. I've always heard about what a great workout Pilates is so I wanted to give it a try. I also figured that as a guy, l'd be one of or the only guy in the room and I was a little concerned about feeling out of place. Well, let me tell you that wasn't the case at all! I was greeted at the door and as a newbie, instructor Raven gave me an overview of the machine before class. And what a great class! It was easy to get in the groove and follow along, thanks to Raven and a class filled with experienced practitioners, while being a challenging (but body working) 45 minute upper and lower body workout! I was so appreciative that after class Raven sat and asked about how the class felt/went, handed me this card and told me all about S2 and the other classes they offer. Such a pretty, clean, welcoming space too. Now I just have to figure out what package to buy moving forward! Can't recommend this place enough!

HotWorx has been a game changer for my health and wellness journey! I have chronic medical conditions that made exercise almost impossible for years. HotWorx patented saunas have made it possible for me to exercise regularly, build muscle, and challenge myself physically for the past 10 months with minimal flare ups and I LOVE the workouts! (Ashley B., Brittany, and Maria are amazing virtual trainers, I feel like I know them personally. 😉) With my new exercise routine at HotWorx, along with building a healthy relationship with food, and changing my diet, I have lost over 60 lbs! The staff at this location are super friendly, and I love the retail and merch. I’m always looking for new swag now that I’m replacing my entire wardrobe. 💪🏽👊🏽🫶🏽

WOMEN BEWARE of THIS Location! I forgot to schedule my rowing sessions on the app one day. I was rowing and a man slides the door open and mumbles something and storms off. I just kept rowing. When I was leaving that man comes out of his workout session and starts yelling very loud and aggressive at me. I yelled back and he followed me out to my car. I was shaking very badly. Once I was in my car I decided that I needed to report it to the manager. I went back in to ask for the contact info and he came back out and started yelling at me again. He also chased me out to my car, again. I decided I needed to get the owners contact info so I went back in. He started yelling at me, again. The manager did nothing except try to hide her laugh. I hope it was a nervous laugh. I told him he might be able to yell at his wife like that but not me! He chased me out one last time. It was very scary and I was shaking for a while. I am a five foot woman and he is about six foot and thick. As much as I tried to not be scared it was very scary and intimidating. He was so close to me that he could’ve knocked me out at any point. I contacted the owner but seemed like he was more concerned about me not scheduling my workout on the app. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. I can’t believe they would allow a man to to treat a woman like that when the majority of the members are women. Now I have to go to a location that is twice the distance from my home.
