Update 11/15/2024: This place got flooded pretty drastically. About a week after the snowfall we had, the roof is still leaking into buckets and tarps across the gym. The place reeks of mildew, and mold. Overall, as previously mentioned, going downhill. Upside: they fixed one set of water fountains. The other is still broken. Place has gone down hill. Been here for a few years now. Lights frequently go out in the building, there’s only one water fountain for the whole place, machines are broken down most of the time, the sinks and restrooms are a hit or miss on cleanliness. You see the “Broken! Will fix soon!” Sign everywhere. I understand there’s construction going on, but try keeping the basic gym amenities well maintained, before investing in a new studio no one will use. Consider going to planet fitness down the street before coming here, it’s a pain.

Normally, I would have positive things to say about this location. But as of lately, I have noticed the group class schedule caters overwhelmingly to those who do the premium studio classes. There are days they only have 3 classes for those with mid range membership and 19 classes for premium members. When I peer into the studio, I don't see many bodies in there. I guess this is a way to force membership upgrades.

I signed up for a one day pass online to check out alternative gyms. I was greeted by Noah and another guy and I let them know it was my first time. They quickly and easily got me in right away and were very hospitable. Noah offered to let me tour the gym if I wanted to. Overall I had a good experience here and there were plenty people to meet and a lot of equipment to work with. I would definitely consider switching my gym in the future to here ❤️.

Update: Sept 2, 2024. Well, im still here, and the reason was the hot tub and the pool. Now I'm not sure about the pool anymore. The pool still has stuff in the bottom of it from months ago and stuff floating in it. It seems no one here really cares except to get people to sign up and get paid. The locker rooms are still the same, along with the bathroom area is disgustingwith people breaking things and the toiletsgot shot everywhere and no one really tries to clean it up at all, the ants haven't seen any lately but the showers still have hair all over and some kind of blood on the wall and floor still so I don't use the showers here, instead I shower before and after at home. I only go for the hot tub. Steam room, sauna, and massage chairs now since they got rid of the movie theater where you can watch a flick and workout. I'm trying to give this place a chance, but it seems this company only cares about profit, not its members. They are a big disappointment. They don't really have anyone cleaning the place at all during business hours, and if they do, it's only doing trash. I wouldn't recommend this place at all except if you're looking to use what I wrote above. Also, it is weary that some of the members don't use swimming gear and the staff don't care when you complain. I've complained about people getting in with their underwear, gym shorts, and sweat pants. I'm still here but for how long probably not much longer. I'm definitely looking into other gyms as well.

This gym was great when I started coming here 2 years ago. I’ve noticed the management role has changed multiple times since then. In the past few weeks, everything about this location seems to be deteriorating. Only 1 working stairmaster out of 6, equipment and weights left on the ground in random places, used paper towels all over the gym, staff not refilling spray bottles/paper towels, and staff has become less welcoming/unfriendly. Going to different locations has made me realize how negative my recent experiences have been here. I do not recommend this location.

I’ve been coming here for years and typically I’ve had okay experiences. Recently it’s been consistently negative. Broken machines, really dirty locker room, dirty paper towels left all over the cardio and weight equipment. I’m really disappointed in how gross it’s been trying to work out here lately. Having machines out of order this time of year is truly hard too, very limited options and longer wait times to use equipment. Such a bummer to see this place going downhill.

Had a membership here for a few years, not bad in price. It was a promotion 1 dollar down. The gym is okay, not too many free weights or workout machines used for your legs. Has only 4 stairclimbers, only 3 cable machines, no bench press. You can get a decent workout here. This location seems to be up to par on being clean, not too much on the outside. Also, cars "people living in cars" take the parking spaces in front of the gym.

Sooo gooood! As far as pf's are concerned this one is top tier! From a equipment and floor plan / layout perspective it's open, inviting, inclusive, and there's enough to go around. Points off for bathroom cleanliness but I'm here to train not hangout in a restroom so it's the least of my worries but just being fair and honest with the review. Still 5 stars. Cheers.

The African American male with the dreads who was working on Sunday evening just stays on his phone and gives 0 attention to certain customers as if they don’t exist at all when checking in. acts like they’re not there at all. But says hello to certain people. I guess being acknowledged depends on what you look like or the color of your skin. Cause he says hey to his people.

This place is the absolute hidden *gem* of the Aurora-Denver Metro recovery and personal growth community. I work out here and do a bunch of their classes. I recently moved to the area, and I stumbled upon this place one day, and it has changed my life, and now changes my life daily. Warm, supportive community and trainers/coaches that is open to *everyone* seeking to grow in wellness and fitness and self-confidence in support of their sobriety and recovery journey - REGARDLESS of where you are in recovery, in fitness, or who you are or where you come from. And it's FREE. Absolutely *incredible* inspiring instructors and trainers like Chelsea, Geno, and Celine, who combine physical fitness with the mental and spiritual aspects of overall wellness. You can come workout, or just hang with a supportive group of people in there - people who can *relate to you*. You can lift weights if you like that; learn Weight Training, Cross Fit, Yoga or Meditation from Chelsea if you want; do cardio and cross-training if you like that; learn boxing or yoga if you have an interest in that - even as an absolute beginner; and join the meditation and conversation/discussion groups that break out during/after workout classes. Or just come and chill on an exercise bike, meditate by yourself or with a small group, or even just hang out and relax on the couch in a safe space with the best people I, for one, have met since moving here. If I'm not in the mood to workout, I go there anyway just to be in a place of peace and great people. This place is the BEST place for anyone in recovery who wants to be the absolute best version of themselves they can be. For real.

The members at this gym are a different vibe. As a gay woman I felt very comfortable as people would not stop staring, giving looks. Not a comfortable gym for everyone. Lap pool was sorta clean, really needs to be drained more.

They have great kid care! Very clean & safe. My little one was nervous to go at first but they do all they can to make him comfortable which usually entails them holding him the whole time but they stay positive and hold my little nugget for an hour while I workout.

I love this gym. I’ve been coming here for three years now . They have great staff, very friendly !!! great trainers , variety of machines, variety of classes. You can attend different hours. It’s pretty clean for such a huge gym. They just renovated. They change the carpets. They put some new machines on and it’s really affordable, even if you buy the whole membership, even personal trainers are affordable and there are different ones with different backgrounds and knowledge so it’s really nice. It’s my favorite gem so far. .

The water pressure is super low for the water fountains. There are so many machines out of order and the majority of them and their peripherals have seen too much use- should be replaced. That basketball court feels cramped! Decent gym, but for a VASA, I've seen better.

I have been a regular at this VASA location for the past six months, and overall, it has been a positive experience, contrary to some of the more negative reviews. The most common complaint I've encountered is about the cleanliness of the locker rooms, and unfortunately, I have to agree with this. As of my last visit, the men's locker room could definitely use some attention in terms of sanitation. That said, I personally don’t use the locker room often since I prefer to go in, work out, and leave. I always keep my backpack or gym bag with me during my workout because I’ve heard about belongings being stolen. If you plan to use the lockers, I highly recommend bringing a combo or padlock for added security, or simply keep your items with you to avoid any issues. Beyond that, this gym has a lot to offer. It’s spacious and well-equipped with a wide variety of exercise machines. The staff has been friendly and helpful in my experience, and the membership fee is reasonable, especially compared to other gyms that are smaller and offer fewer amenities. The gym recently underwent renovations, which temporarily impacted the experience—certain areas were closed off, making the space feel crowded. However, now that the renovation is complete, things have returned to normal, and I haven’t encountered any issues finding equipment or space to exercise. As with any gym, the crowd level can vary depending on the time and day you visit. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, making it harder to find available machines, but in general, it's manageable. All in all, I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a solid, local option with plenty to offer at a reasonable price—just be mindful of the locker rooms.

The equipment is state-of-the-art, and there’s something for every workout style, whether you’re into lifting, cardio, or group classes. Plus, the amenities like the locker rooms and sauna really elevate the experience. It’s definitely worth the membership!

Transferred over to this gym from a bigger franchise gym. The transition was smooth. While the prices may be higher than big box gyms, I do think part of what you’re paying for is a different culture. It’s smaller, much less crowded, and extremely clean. Whether 10am or 5:30pm, the most amount of ppl in the gym was less than 10. All the spaces are very tidy and organized. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a smaller gym that focuses on cleanliness, good customer service, and getting effective workouts in. My fitness focus is high intensity interval training, cardio, and weightlifting. This gym is equipped with everything I need.

I really liked working out at this Anytime Fitness. It was clean, open, and had a great amount of natural light that does not imped your workout. I trained here for about three months and found the gym was never too busy. The equipment is relatively new, well kept, and in great condition. Coming in to workout I never saw more than five people in the gym at a time, there is no issue finding available equipment, and the staff is very nice as well. They also have cubbies and lockers with keys available for your belongings. Great place, really.

I can't tell you how much I love this gym. The location is bright and clean, and it has the perfect amount of cardio machines, free weights, resistance machines and functional training equipment. The members are diverse and although the space is not large, it is never too crowded. I like that my membership includes digital access to this club and any club in the Anytime network 24/7. You just can't beat that when many other gyms in the area have limited daily hours and are often closed on holidays. The staff/trainers at this location are knowledgeable and friendly and they offer many options for coaching and training to meet your goals. The owners of this franchised club seem interested in ensuring value in membership experience through innovation and upkeep of the facility and equipment. I can't say enough about this Anytime Fitness. I have been a member for over a year. It is the perfect gym for me.

I had my membership for quite some time with PF but had to recently cancel due to medical reasons. PF the business isn't bad, I enjoy going to the gym. BUT the front desk staff at this location was VERY rude. I wasn't able to catch her name as she didn't have a name tag on but she was blonde with an ugly septum piercing. I was having trouble with my bill and she was very rude in explaining things to me when I already knew the answer. Wouldn't give me a chance to speak and was accusing me that it was my fault. She had ZERO customer service! When I am able to return to the gym after this medical surgery is healed, I may or may not decide to go back. IF I do decide to get a membership again at this PF. I DO NOT want to speak with her ever again, I will always ask to speak to someone else. Which honestly is a shame because I have never had trouble with anyone at the front desk before. Every else is so genuinely nice.

The Arapahoe Crossing location is amazing! Employees are friendly, helpful and hardworking. They aren’t always at the desk, but that is because they are always stocking paper towels + cleaner and keeping things looking good. The club is clean and quiet. I paid way more for 24 Hour and it was never clean and the equipment was always broken. Not here! Never found a machine that didn’t work, with the exception my favorite thing there…the aqua-massage table. Always equipment available to use. All my guests have been super impressed too!!

Tried the gym once with a trial period for a month. Never paid the annual fee and now I’m they’re coming at me for almost 6 months of membership that I haven’t paid. The agreement stated that I’d have to pay my annual fee before my membership could actually begin. Now they won’t cancel the membership and will continue to charge until the overdue balance is paid for a membership I never finalized. 24 hour fitness is better. Everything is done in one session. Right up the street, more amenities and after the you pay for the year it ends up being $25 a month. Don’t settle for less.

I have been going as a guest to decide if I want to join. I have been twice so far. The majority of the employees do not smile or greet you at the front desk. I mean come on customers wipe down equip so it is not like the employees are working hard or anything. With that said Brandon is always pleasant and friendly, and I really do appreciate him. The place is clean and all equip. works great.

Do not sign your kid up for the summer camps here. It isn't worth the money. My kid told me all they did last summer was sit around inside. When it rains, they don't really have any backup plans. She was part of the 'STEM' camp...and they hardly did anything. You can find better camps that are not as expensive elsewhere.

This is a much needed facility after an year of lockdowns and restrictions!! Thanks YMCA!

Childcare at this YMCA consists almost exclusively of watching movies, some of which I surmise many parents would object to if they were cognizant of what the children are exposed to (the selection is likely based on preferences of the teenagers looking after childcare). We have attended this YMCA for months and had a pleasant experience. We kindly asked for the television to be off for every visit requiring childcare. On one occasion recently it was turned off in front of the parent, and then turned back on immediately when the parent left to exercise. This had not happened to our knowledge the previous two dozen or so times. Our request had always been respectfully heard. The last time our family went to the YMCA, for the first time they refused to turn the television off at all. Other parents may find no objection to this YMCA's "childcare". I would at least encourage you to take responsibility for the content your children are exposed to here - don't expect discretion from staff. Other YMCA's in the area may provide much better childcare service - such a critical blessing to families with young children, allowing the parents time to exercise. Your children are worth the longer commute!

Anytime Fitness member visiting from out of state - had a great experience! Checked in with my wife’s keycard and went to the manager’s office (Michael), who was extremely welcoming, to ask if he’d like me to sign in; stated there was no issue and to let him know if there was anything I needed. When I arrived, even though there was a group session and multiple individual sessions, my workout was uninterrupted due to the well spread out sections of the gym. F-45 Southlands was just what I needed to get a restart into fitness. I am a larger woman but that didn’t hold any of the coaches back from giving me the modifications and support needed to be successful. I am definitely more fit after 6 months due to everything this gym offers. One of the greatest is the consistent and same people at most of the early classes. The coaches definitely know you by name and encourage more and more each session to help meet your fitness goals. I can’t say enough wonderful things, I love going!

I absolutely love the flexibility of a 24 hour gym that fits better with my busy lifestyle compared to your basic gym. The option to pick an isometric workout or hit class has been great for me and the variety of classes are also ideal. The gym is always clean and has an area for weight lifting. Heather, Chad(owners) and Talia have been the most welcoming staff of any gym I have been too. This gym has exceeded my expectations and I’m excited to workout everyday.

Heather and Chad (the Owners) and their staff are so friendly and helpful and very hands-on with their clients. I had a great feeling about working out there the moment I walked in to try it out. I absolutely loved the Hot Thunder (rower) and the Hot Cycle classes. I have the same equipment in my home gym, but doing it in an infrared sauna is a totally different experience, and it somehow makes me push myself harder than doing it at home. Looking forward to trying all of the classes out! Edit: 2 months in and loving this more than ever! Even when I work out at home, I love to come in for the Hot Stretch class. Thunder, Warrior, and Barre are my favorite classes here.

I'm not sure why it took me 2 months to write this, since I fell in love with HOTWORX - Aurora/Buckley immediately, but I guess I just wanted to make sure I could write an HONEST 5-star review that would cover more than just my initial excitement. I have been lifting weights in my home gym, consistently, for over a decade, but I started noticing that as I got into my 40s, I kept injuring myself more and more, doing the same things I'd been doing previously, without issue. My mobility and flexibility were starting to decrease, and as much as I didn't want to make a change to my current routine, I knew that I needed to find a different, safer way to exercise. A friend of mine told me about HOTWORX, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I've honestly never enjoyed being in a sauna, and working out in one sounded like pure torture, but I also realized the benefits far outweighed all of my hesitation, so I thought I'd give it a try... and to be completely honest, I was HOOKED after day one! Heather and Chad are the owners of this studio and they made me feel so incredibly welcomed and part of their HOTWORX family, right away. Talia is the manager and she is amazing as well. I've never enjoyed going to commercial gyms because of the "ick" feeling of judgment I get from the moment I walk in the door. It was never like that here, because they make everyone feel so incredibly welcomed. The second day I came in for a class, they already knew me by name and welcomed me with a smile. Seriously, what other gym can you say that about? Fast forward to (almost) two months later, and my body feels INCREDIBLE! In the beginning, it hurt SO MUCH to use to foam roller at the end of the ISO classes, because my muscles were sooooo tight, and now it's my favorite part of the class. I wake up in the morning, not worried if my back is going to lock up on me, and I know, without question, that my whole day is going to be better after I spend an hour at HOTWORX, detoxing, strengthening, and loosening up my 45 year old body. There are definitely classes I prefer more than others, but I am happy to say I've tried them all at least twice, and love having so many class options, along with access to a 24 hour sauna and gym, so I can always find something to challenge myself, at any time of the day (or night). If you're looking for a welcoming, judgment-free place where you can come to FEEL BETTER, I highly recommend stopping by this location for a free trial class to see for yourself!

I'm just so happy this place opened up AND that the owners and staff have been incredibly helpful as I'd never even done a Hotworx workout before I joined but had heard great things about it from a friend. It's been open a little more than 2 weeks and I've already done about 25 classes! The owners and staff truly care about their members and are very kind. I don't know what life was like before Hotworx🤣🔥🧡. If you want to burn 2x the calories in half the time and help your skin and soul, this place is for you!! There are so many different workouts to choose from and they are all outstanding and will get the job done! Working out in the infrared sauna will CHANGE YOUR LIFE🙂

I LOVE Hotworx! It is right near my work and it is a fantastic way for me to decompress before going home. I can choose a variety of workouts and get the benefits from being in an infrared sauna at the same time. Even if I am short on time, I can get a workout in most days. The owners are super friendly and helpful, as are their employees.
