I absolutely love the YMCA. This particular branch has incredible staff members. The before and after school program has been amazing for my family. My kids are happy and have great relationships with the staff. The gym is older, but it has everything you need and a bit more. It is clean and well maintained. The overall community is supportive and inclusive. I highly recommend becoming a member. It is evident that this branch works hard to build community, and I love being a part of that.

Disappointed with this facility. I help drop off our friend’s child every day to YMCA child care. Yesterday after dropping off, my three year old needed to use the restroom, but upon asking we were told he wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom. I was genuinely surprised at the lack of empathy for a 3 year old that really needed to go to the bathroom.

I don’t normally leave reviews but the YMCA has been everything I’ve wanted and more. Staff is kind and treats people with respect. The facilities are fantastic. The basketball court and gym have an old school feel to them and still have all the necessary equipment. I’m truly happy that I’ve been able to come and work out and be a small part of this place.

I recently had the pleasure of registering at this gym, and I must commend the manager, Yousif, for his exceptional assistance. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive. Yousif guided me through the registration process with ease. He answered all my questions thoroughly and ensured I understood all the membership benefits and options available. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this gym thanks to the outstanding service provided by the manager!

Want to go in for a guest pass to work out? After signing up for a trial and providing my phone number they immediately call me to ask to sit down with David. Super uncomfortable vibes right off the bat. Met with rude customer service telling me to pay $20 to work out for the day because I don't have the time to sit down and talk. Can't without sitting down and hearing a sales pitch first dressed behind them being your goals. Feels more like a car dealership than a gym. Constantly pressured to do something you don't want to do from the get-go. That's how you drive prospects away.

Loveeeee this place! Always cleann amazing bathroom for the girls. Great sauna, good music. And I always have a great workout love all the machines and equipment. They also have a great stretch area. There’s 2 story’s. And a huge variety of machines everything you can think of and more.

EoS Fitness is a legit gym for anyone who works out. The facility can support body builder types to beginner level fitness enthusiasts.This facility has tons of weight and equipment to keep you busy. In addition to being a world class fitness facility they employee a world class staff that can help with anything ranging from dietary advice to personal training! Be sure to ask for Seyena Farias (operations manager) she’ll be sure to provide the appropriate fitness assistance that you are looking for! I travel for work so this review is about the gym itself. Not about any kind of membership or contracts or stuff like that. Let me now say that, for an Anytime Fitness, this place is Friggen Yuge ! It has two levels, cardio upstairs. All else downstairs. Good amount of machines in the heavy area for squat, bench and such. 2 locations for dumbbells. One by free weights, other by functional training/floor area. The floor area is large, plenty of room for a dozen people to stretch or so their functional training. Also, there are 6 individual bathrooms. I believe each has a shower. If this is not enough for you, perhaps try a different time to go to the gym. If that doesn't work because you can never ever compromise on anything in your life, then try globo gym, that's where the egocentrics go.

I highly don't reccomend signing up for a membership here. On top of lacking some basic gym amenities and severely needing more bathrooms in the building, their cancellation policy is basically a trap. If you want to cancel and you signed up for an annual membership (which everyone does) you have to pay off the "amount you owe" for the year. For me, they asked that I pay $643??!! I've never experienced this before and I've had many gym memberships. They also act like this is out of their hands but this gym is independently owned so this is a conscious decision of operation. I'd reccomend LA fitness down the road, they don't run business like this.

I’ve a 54-year old man who’s trying to age well and am aware of the importance of diet and resistance training. I’ve always been active and engaged in weight training. However in my 50’s I’ve struggled being consistent. I hired Ivan Lopez at Anytime Fitness and have been a client for over a year. The results are amazing as I’m adding muscle. I don’t get dude much anymore despite increasing resistance. Diet is key as is sleep!! Highly recommend Anytime Fitness and Personal Trainer Ivan Lopez.

I've seen a bunch of anytime fitness locations across North America. The best one atmosphere wise so far has been Cochrane Alberta Canada as its a second floor gym with 180 degree glass overlooking the Rocky mountains. But... for the desert... THIS particular Anytime fitness is high level. First, they have parking shades for your car in a bunch of the spots. I know this isn't uncommon in Phoenix but still. Entry way outside well lit and not sketchy. Secondly, the Gym layout makes sense. If you work out a lot you'll understand what I mean. The gym is clean and the equipment is in good condition and they have all the basics anyone needs to get jacked. Decent location for water fountain too, being a central location, as are the washrooms. My interaction with Staff has also been very good. There's zero reason not to join this location. Anytime fitness on average is a no brainer for someone like me who travels and works out more than 3 times a week... and this location in particular scores very high.

I contacted this gym because online it says they have a military discount. The person who responded lied to me about offering a military discount and offered me the payment plan shown online as the military discount. Pretty lame that they have to lie about a couple dollars.

I visited this gym plenty times. There is this young man, I think he said Kasim? I am in from 6pm til someday 9pm, I'll go out to my sprinter and return at 1am - 3am and each time, he'll clean the shower for someone if they ask, the stalls if they ask, the sink area.. That's what I appreciate. I included a few photos That employee there now really knows what he is doing with the cleaning. I operate cleaning businesses that sends porters out to clean company hotels and he cleans better than my tenured employees in the mens. Great work!

Sunday evening around 5:30pm I first entered the club to use the restroom and planned to return to my car to gather my gym outfit. Melinda, at the front desk, asked if I was planning to work out. I thought that was an odd question. I said yes and she told me slides (the shoes I walked in with) are not allowed on the equipment. I told her my shoes were in my car and I was just running in to use the restroom. She then threatened to have me leave if she caught me on the equipment with my slides - I thought that was a non-customer friendly exchange. When I walked into the restroom area, I found the entire locker room a mess. There was trash overflowing and the floors were dirty. I decided not to use the gym today due partly to the odd communication but especially the filthiness.

Went here for a couple months then one day in Dec ‘24 the whole gym had this very overwhelming smell of piss, since then I’ve been going to another location. Every now and then due to this being one of the few locations open 24hrs I’ve had to come here, and now it smells like stale piss. Feb ‘25 will be month three of it smelling that way. You never get used to it the whole time you’re working out. Do not recommend unless you like throwing up in your mouth and/or smelling piss.

Desk personnel are very nice. Place is nice and clean with plenty of equipment. Men's locker room some what small. That is an issue due to several lockers seem to have permanent occupants.

I have to come here cause it’s the closest location to the airport where I work. There is always a different person working the front desk, some more present or polite than others. Lots of times I don’t feel like I get the customer service that I expect when I come here. Also the floor in the showers is always dirty. I saw a girl cleaning the other day dragging her feet. Even thought they have supplies they don’t do a job at cleaning.

Absolutely loved my drop-in to Sol! I was over in Phoenix all the way from Scotland for work. The gym is awesome! Great equipment and space and they are currently in the process of making it even better. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The coaches were great and like how the workout was structured. Will definitely go again if I get the chance.

Had a great time during the week we stopped in at Sol CrossFit. The coaches were super engaging and the members were sweating too!! Would definitely drop in here again.

3 drop ins over the course of a long weekend. Regulars were friendly, staff was awesome, and the gym was extremely clean and tidy. Great set up and location. Will be back if I visit phoenix again!

I haven’t worked out at Sol for awhile now as I had a baby and moved to the west side of town. I recently started to get back into CrossFit again and can’t come back to Sol as it’s too far away from my new home unfortunately.. But I attended Sol for over 3 years. Being at a different gym now.. I’m going to tell you why Sol is different and amazing. I miss it often and hope I move back closer someday. Sol made me feel like I had a second family. Someone greeted me every time I walked in the door. I got to shake everyone’s hand before the class started and meet someone new each time. The coaches cheered me on when I felt like dying during a workout. They gave me feedback on how I was doing and helped me become better. They made me laugh all the time.. like tears laughing. They built me up when my confidence was low. They truly care. They invited me to BBQs and parties like one big extended family. And most importantly.. they changed my life. Not just from work outs.. but their ability to connect with me on a deeper level. I love the owner Lance. I love Jessie. I love the coaches. I love my memories there. I love the other crossfitters there. If you are considering trying CrossFit.. this is the best in the valley. You won’t be disappointed. Hands down.. my favorite gym forever! I haven’t found this environment anywhere else.

My place to drop in when I'm in town for work. Love the space, coaches and members (they even remember me from times before :)). Always get a good workout and enjoy my time there!

My experience at the Dunlap Anytime has been great! I transferred from a location in California a few months ago. All locations always have the necessary equipment, privacy and helpful personnel! Trista at this location was awesome with assisting me with anything I needed :) My only advice would be to stay educated on different locations and their individual rates if you are looking to transfer, I had not realized it would be a different price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The gym is never crowded, so once I create a new routine, I can count on my stations to be available for my next set. Really important for me. The bathrooms are nice, clean, and huge, which is important to me because I shower there frequently. The extra large size means that they even accommodate our brothers and sisters in wheelchairs. It’s a good fit, for me.

Bad experience with the billing. Last November 2022, I created an account and had a firm agreement with the employee that the membership would last one year. I explicitly asked multiple times if there would be additional billing after one year. The answer was no. He stated all necessary forms were completed to ensure I would not be billed after the 1 year was up. I explained that this was important because I was likely moving outside the area and I did not want to deal with additional billing. Again we had multiple verbal agreements that everything was in place to not be billed after the first year. Now it comes November 2023 and of course I am getting billed. I called the gym directly a few minutes ago. Apparently, they are missing the "Un-auto enroll form" or something along those lines. I am being told it is my responsibility to have completed this form although I was told i completed all necessary forms one year prior to ensure no auto enroll. Although it is just 40 bucks a month, the whole situation is incredibly disrespectful and demonstrates immoral business practices.

Great location. Quiet and not too crowded. Love the fact that I don't have to hunt staff down when I have questions or concerns. Great customer service and they don't talk in circles. As of 10/23/23, This review has now been edited to three stars for unprofessional customer service. I understand we all go through things and get frustrated, but being a smart aleck is a no from me. They're great people as long as you never have to speak them at all, which is a horrible thing to say but it's the truth. Watch this, they'll reply to my update with some nonsense. It's fine though, I'll stop being professional too. Since they don't like professional and courteous communication apparently. 😊

Anytime Fitness North Phoenix is perfect for all my needs. It's not huge and it's never overcrowded, it's the perfect size. It's clean and well taken care of. I absolutely love that I can go in the middle of the night if I choose to.

Assistant manager Felicia and Alexia at the front desk were very welcoming! Entering the gym this morning I felt a bit tired but after talking with them, their positive energy was very refreshing! Definitely recommend chatting with them to learn more about EOS!

I recently visited the new EOS location off of Cactus Road and Cave Creek Road and had an exceptional experience with one of their trainers, Sydney. I was looking for equipment to use for my lateral back workout day, and Sydney provided top-notch customer service. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the equipment and exercises, and she took the time to explain everything in detail. Her friendly and helpful demeanor made the experience even better. Sydney's expertise and kindness truly stood out. I highly recommend her and this EOS location. Thank you, Sydney, for your excellent service! ---

This is what I don't like about this location. I came in at 8 am and it was like this. I leave at 9:12 and it's still like this. I watched two "coach's" step OVER them in I go to the bathroom. Gym equipment is great. The locker rooms are terrible.

Beautiful gym, clean with so many amenitties. Apparently they clean everything about every 2 hours. Tatum was super helpful and friendly in showing me around the place and explaining the memberships!

Brandon and Dominic were the biggest help today! They listened to my questions and were able to answer them all. Super excited to be at this gym with such great staff and equipment !!

I have had a great experience here. The staff is really kind and helpful. The gym has all your basics and it's never too crowded. I highly recommend talking with their personal trainer Jordan. He has a great approach to fitness. It’s criminal how affordable the training is. The personal training here is way cheaper than what I've found anywhere else and it's better. I've trained with a lot of different people. Jordan has been the best by far. He uses a lot of different tactics that push you past your mental limitations and activate the muscle. It would be worth paying extra but it's included in the membership. I'm so happy I found this place!

I was really against retaining my membership at planet fitness. I felt like they were stealing my money. It is ridiculous to charge a yearly fee and have your patrons pay monthly. I will retain it because of a young lady named Nala. She is the most patient, kind, understanding employee. She deserves a raise. I will always look for her when I go. She has no issue helping out or explaining anything.

This place is absolutely awesome; super clean, great showers, never too busy, lots of helpful videos, and even a trainer provided to help me perfect my workouts, etc. I can bring a friend to workout also as a guest anytime! I absolutely love this gym.

Nice Gym, all the things that you find in a planet fitness, well kept, full of people, nice atmosphere, the staff is welcoming and supportive, but a little small, the only downside. That sometimes tends to be overcrowded.

A perfect gym to get back into a routine after being out of it for a number of years and after having knee replacement. It is a very comfortable place to be. And when you walk in the staff is always smiling and makes you feel super welcome.

I have been a member here since about mid August and so far I have no complaints. The staff are friendly and welcoming when walking in. They actively clean the facilities and restock the cleaning paper and sprays when needed. It can get a little busy after 5 pm on weekdays but early to mid afternoons are my preferred times and it's not usually busy.

I have been a loyal black card member for 6 months now and the long term full time staff have always been the best, amazing attitude and tend to the gym and keep it 1,000x wayyyy cleaner than the 75th Ave location. There is a new manager Alan and now we can't use the massage chairs for more than 10 minutes? Why? Do they pay you more Alan for denying an extra 5 minutes? This gym is clean but the machines and equipment need upgrades and TLC!

This is a great planet fitness. It has all the equipment you need for a good workout. And it’s not very busy during the morning and lunch hour. It gets a little busy after 5 o’clock, but a lot of gyms are like that. I like to go on my lunch break. Definitely check it out.

Great selection of equipment. Lots of parking. Always clean and staff are friendly. Can get busy at times, but this is just a downside of being a good, clean, functional gym.

I had an incredible experience at EOS Fitness, all thanks to Elysia! From the moment I walked in, she welcomed me with such warmth and energy. Not only did she take the time to give me a thorough tour of the property, but she also shared her own fitness journey, which was so inspiring. Her passion and dedication to the gym were contagious and gave me the motivation I needed to take my first steps toward my own goals. The facility itself is fantastic—clean, well-equipped, and spacious—but it’s the people like Elysia that make it truly special. If you’re looking for a gym where you feel supported from day one, I can’t recommend this location enough. Nice gym, usually clean. However do NOT sign up for any sort of “trial” here. I am from out of state, and signed up for a month membership. I was told it would be a set price for the month and would expire at month-end. However, I come to find out I was charged $80 on my credit card statement. I called to find out, and waited 2 weeks to get a return call which I never got (had to call back). I am still waiting on calls to see if my refund will come through at all. As of now, paid $100 to have access to this gym for 30 days. I only did the month membership because the associate told me it would be cheaper than doing multiple week long memberships. I live across the country so I can’t go and talk to a manager myself, super disappointed and will never be returning. My family decided to get memberships at Mountainside Fitness instead, which I recommend over EoS!

I am talking about multiple gyms. They, and their staff are great and helpful. DO NOT TRUST THE UPPER MANAGEMENT, their corporate. For 2 years now I deal with them, for an example, doctor said I had to take off 3+ months. I went through the gym manager (nice guy), he even showed me the email saying my account was frozen and I wouldn't be charged; I was charged every month. Due to convenience, I will continue use the equipment and leave, but I will never trust their corporate again. Oh, and the gym managers never stay, they are transfered, at times, monthly (not an exaggeration).

Do not trust this Gym as their policies and business ethics are very questionable. I signed up and ended up moving out of town, I forgot about it honestly. I cancelled my account in Late December in person and the kid that was helping me couldn’t offer me any paperwork to verify the cancellation. All he did was give me a confirmation number on a sticky note for both my account and my son’s account. They ASSURED me I wouldn’t have any more charges. about 10 days later I received one more charge in late 2024, then another in early 2025. The strange part was that it was a different amount than the normal monthly charges. I contacted them and it turns out it was the annual renewal fee. One for me and one for my son. The person over the phone was super nice and helpful in explaining how their system works and escalated it to a manager. He told me that if it had been cancelled a certain way, the annual fee wouldn’t have auto billed but the first person that helped me didn’t do it that way. The assistant operations manager said he would put in a request to have it refunded but it was out of his control as there is a third party finance company that handles the billing. He was also very nice and wanted to be helpful. The fact that a manager doesn’t have the power to over ride a bogus rule that it has to be cancelled a certain way in order to prevent the recurring annual charge is insane. Heck if it was just the monthly charge I would have understood a little because of a 30 day cancellation period but to charge two more annual fees is wild. I’ll be curious to see if I get the standard copy paste response that the Operations Manager seems to reply with to everyone’s bad reviews. ***edit to add on January 23rd***. I did get the standard copy paste response! makes me wonder if the manager even read my bad review, much less the paragraph before this one. ***edit to add on January 30th*** apparently the management doesn’t care. Their copy paste response that they are actively working on my concern is obviously not true. I haven’t heard from them at all.

Absolutely horrible experience. I went in to sign up for the gym. Of course they brought over their Personal Training person. He gave me a free workout which was great but after that it’s been terrible. He wanted to get me to signup for on-going session, I told him I’m not really interested but give me the night to think about it. He said he’d be at the gym the next day. Well, I text him the next morning I wasn’t interested in the PT sessions. Went to the gym and of course he’s not there like he said he be. So I spoke to another manager, told her the story and to cancel. A few days later I get a text asking me how my sessions were going. A few days after that I get billed for the sessions I never signed up for. I go to talk to manager, not there, again. I call, nothing. I call the next day nothing. I go to the gym, not there. I call again. Nothing. Now I’m going to cancel my gym membership because I don’t want any part of this BS.

I have been training at VASA for the past year and a half and I couldn’t be more impressed. The gym itself is always clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere. I have had 2 great personal trainers. From the very first session, they took the time to understand my fitness goals, tailor workouts to my needs, and push me to achieve more than I thought was possible. I’ve seen huge improvements in both strength and confidence. I love the Studio Red classes. Rebekah is awesome. She is always positive, motivating and genuinely interested in my progress. I highly recommend both the gym and the Studio Red classes to anyone looking for a supportive and challenging fitness experience!

Hello, I am thoroughly impressed with the childcare that the young ladies provide at the East Thunderbird VASA location. Ms. Abby and her team do an amazing job with all the children. My son is currently four months old. The idea of leaving him in any one else’s hands is not happening. I can enjoy a workout relieved knowing that they have his best interests in mind. Way to go Ladies!!! Love you and how you are with my baby 🩷

Abby and her team run one of the best gym childcares I’ve ever seen! They create a loving and safe environment for the kids. So we are able to workout and know they are being cared for!

I’ve tried three other gyms in the North Phoenix area, and Vasa has me hooked for life. Not only is the facility very clean and well equipped, but the staff and especially the trainers are more helpful and friendly than any I’ve encountered at any gym yet. Coaches Grace, Melanie and Tony deserve special recognition for always going above and beyond to deliver an outstanding experience.

This Planet Fitness is a great Place to Work Out. I absolutely love going to Planet Fitness in North Cave Creek! The staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful. They always greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome. The gym is clean and well-maintained, and the equipment is in great condition. I always have a positive experience when I work out there, and thank you for always being so kind.

I haven’t been to the gym since May 23, 2024. I read somewhere that the gym had undergone some changes and I was excited to see them. Moving the stretching area to the circuit area was a thought of mine for ages! There just wasn’t enough room in the other area. The new cardio equipment is cool. I still have to walk around and understand how/where the other equipment moved to on the floor, but I’ll get to that. I’m just pleased with the initial re-impression that I got today!

Had the pleasure to meet a great team here! I had the opportunity to meet Maggie, Cassandra, Cassidy, Tam and Mikayla. All of them are fantastic and welcomed me very well! So excited to be part of a great movement! Also Wanted to say this is a great gym! A little smaller than most and it's very cleaned and organized! Walk in showers and if I counted correctly, 18 tvs. Overall a fantastic gym! Last but not least, Cassandra and Nando; keep it up! You guys have a great team!! Last but not least, Cassidy is the personal trainer at this location and she is so inspiring! Highly recommend her to get back into shape! She will get you there! Keep it up Cassidy!
