I recently had the pleasure of registering at this gym, and I must commend the manager, Yousif, for his exceptional assistance. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive. Yousif guided me through the registration process with ease. He answered all my questions thoroughly and ensured I understood all the membership benefits and options available. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this gym thanks to the outstanding service provided by the manager!

Want to go in for a guest pass to work out? After signing up for a trial and providing my phone number they immediately call me to ask to sit down with David. Super uncomfortable vibes right off the bat. Met with rude customer service telling me to pay $20 to work out for the day because I don't have the time to sit down and talk. Can't without sitting down and hearing a sales pitch first dressed behind them being your goals. Feels more like a car dealership than a gym. Constantly pressured to do something you don't want to do from the get-go. That's how you drive prospects away.

Liberty is truly my “third space”. The best coaches, super nice equipment for both powerlifting and strongman (and many other forms of functional training), and the most amazing and supportive community. Since joining, I have competed in powerlifting and strongman working with Justin and I can’t believe how much progress and personal fulfillment I’ve experienced in only a year! Highly recommend!

Every time I travel to Phoenix in business, Liberty is my most important stop. They make short term drop ins very easy and communicate well. Everything you need for strength and conditioning without any filler equipment crowding the gym. Good parking, easy to find. Good attitudes. Would be a full time member if I lived here.

I came to this gym to compete jn a strongman show. The facility was fantastic and had anything you could need to train. Zac was very welcoming and hosted an amazing show. I've competed for several years now and I can say this is one of the top shows and facilities where i have competed!

What a fantastic gym! I was in the city for a vacation and after a bunch of research did a few drop in sessions at Liberty. I'm happy I chose it, there's a fantastic equipment selection, and the culture seems great. If I lived in the Phoenix area I would be making this my home gym.

Amazing gym experience with great people, it is a little bit pricey. But I think it's worth it as it's not like a commercial gym that comes with all the headaches. Great community with friendly people you can ask questions to. There's a wide selection of plates and equipment to use from. That are well maintained and nothing broken. The trainers are nice and well informed in their respective fields. Overall just a very good gym to check out if you're looking for a new gym to go to.

I travel for work so this review is about the gym itself. Not about any kind of membership or contracts or stuff like that. Let me now say that, for an Anytime Fitness, this place is Friggen Yuge ! It has two levels, cardio upstairs. All else downstairs. Good amount of machines in the heavy area for squat, bench and such. 2 locations for dumbbells. One by free weights, other by functional training/floor area. The floor area is large, plenty of room for a dozen people to stretch or so their functional training. Also, there are 6 individual bathrooms. I believe each has a shower. If this is not enough for you, perhaps try a different time to go to the gym. If that doesn't work because you can never ever compromise on anything in your life, then try globo gym, that's where the egocentrics go.

I highly don't reccomend signing up for a membership here. On top of lacking some basic gym amenities and severely needing more bathrooms in the building, their cancellation policy is basically a trap. If you want to cancel and you signed up for an annual membership (which everyone does) you have to pay off the "amount you owe" for the year. For me, they asked that I pay $643??!! I've never experienced this before and I've had many gym memberships. They also act like this is out of their hands but this gym is independently owned so this is a conscious decision of operation. I'd reccomend LA fitness down the road, they don't run business like this.

I’ve a 54-year old man who’s trying to age well and am aware of the importance of diet and resistance training. I’ve always been active and engaged in weight training. However in my 50’s I’ve struggled being consistent. I hired Ivan Lopez at Anytime Fitness and have been a client for over a year. The results are amazing as I’m adding muscle. I don’t get dude much anymore despite increasing resistance. Diet is key as is sleep!! Highly recommend Anytime Fitness and Personal Trainer Ivan Lopez.

I've seen a bunch of anytime fitness locations across North America. The best one atmosphere wise so far has been Cochrane Alberta Canada as its a second floor gym with 180 degree glass overlooking the Rocky mountains. But... for the desert... THIS particular Anytime fitness is high level. First, they have parking shades for your car in a bunch of the spots. I know this isn't uncommon in Phoenix but still. Entry way outside well lit and not sketchy. Secondly, the Gym layout makes sense. If you work out a lot you'll understand what I mean. The gym is clean and the equipment is in good condition and they have all the basics anyone needs to get jacked. Decent location for water fountain too, being a central location, as are the washrooms. My interaction with Staff has also been very good. There's zero reason not to join this location. Anytime fitness on average is a no brainer for someone like me who travels and works out more than 3 times a week... and this location in particular scores very high.

I contacted this gym because online it says they have a military discount. The person who responded lied to me about offering a military discount and offered me the payment plan shown online as the military discount. Pretty lame that they have to lie about a couple dollars.

My experience at the Dunlap Anytime has been great! I transferred from a location in California a few months ago. All locations always have the necessary equipment, privacy and helpful personnel! Trista at this location was awesome with assisting me with anything I needed :) My only advice would be to stay educated on different locations and their individual rates if you are looking to transfer, I had not realized it would be a different price.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The gym is never crowded, so once I create a new routine, I can count on my stations to be available for my next set. Really important for me. The bathrooms are nice, clean, and huge, which is important to me because I shower there frequently. The extra large size means that they even accommodate our brothers and sisters in wheelchairs. It’s a good fit, for me.

Bad experience with the billing. Last November 2022, I created an account and had a firm agreement with the employee that the membership would last one year. I explicitly asked multiple times if there would be additional billing after one year. The answer was no. He stated all necessary forms were completed to ensure I would not be billed after the 1 year was up. I explained that this was important because I was likely moving outside the area and I did not want to deal with additional billing. Again we had multiple verbal agreements that everything was in place to not be billed after the first year. Now it comes November 2023 and of course I am getting billed. I called the gym directly a few minutes ago. Apparently, they are missing the "Un-auto enroll form" or something along those lines. I am being told it is my responsibility to have completed this form although I was told i completed all necessary forms one year prior to ensure no auto enroll. Although it is just 40 bucks a month, the whole situation is incredibly disrespectful and demonstrates immoral business practices.

Great location. Quiet and not too crowded. Love the fact that I don't have to hunt staff down when I have questions or concerns. Great customer service and they don't talk in circles. As of 10/23/23, This review has now been edited to three stars for unprofessional customer service. I understand we all go through things and get frustrated, but being a smart aleck is a no from me. They're great people as long as you never have to speak them at all, which is a horrible thing to say but it's the truth. Watch this, they'll reply to my update with some nonsense. It's fine though, I'll stop being professional too. Since they don't like professional and courteous communication apparently. 😊

I recently visited the new EOS location off of Cactus Road and Cave Creek Road and had an exceptional experience with one of their trainers, Sydney. I was looking for equipment to use for my lateral back workout day, and Sydney provided top-notch customer service. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the equipment and exercises, and she took the time to explain everything in detail. Her friendly and helpful demeanor made the experience even better. Sydney's expertise and kindness truly stood out. I highly recommend her and this EOS location. Thank you, Sydney, for your excellent service! ---

This is what I don't like about this location. I came in at 8 am and it was like this. I leave at 9:12 and it's still like this. I watched two "coach's" step OVER them in I go to the bathroom. Gym equipment is great. The locker rooms are terrible.

I had an incredible experience at EOS Fitness, all thanks to Elysia! From the moment I walked in, she welcomed me with such warmth and energy. Not only did she take the time to give me a thorough tour of the property, but she also shared her own fitness journey, which was so inspiring. Her passion and dedication to the gym were contagious and gave me the motivation I needed to take my first steps toward my own goals. The facility itself is fantastic—clean, well-equipped, and spacious—but it’s the people like Elysia that make it truly special. If you’re looking for a gym where you feel supported from day one, I can’t recommend this location enough. Thank you, Elysia, for going above and beyond and leaving such a positive impact on my journey!

Nice gym, usually clean. However do NOT sign up for any sort of “trial” here. I am from out of state, and signed up for a month membership. I was told it would be a set price for the month and would expire at month-end. However, I come to find out I was charged $80 on my credit card statement. I called to find out, and waited 2 weeks to get a return call which I never got (had to call back). I am still waiting on calls to see if my refund will come through at all. As of now, paid $100 to have access to this gym for 30 days. I only did the month membership because the associate told me it would be cheaper than doing multiple week long memberships. I live across the country so I can’t go and talk to a manager myself, super disappointed and will never be returning. My family decided to get memberships at Mountainside Fitness instead, which I recommend over EoS!

I am talking about multiple gyms. They, and their staff are great and helpful. DO NOT TRUST THE UPPER MANAGEMENT, their corporate. For 2 years now I deal with them, for an example, doctor said I had to take off 3+ months. I went through the gym manager (nice guy), he even showed me the email saying my account was frozen and I wouldn't be charged; I was charged every month. Due to convenience, I will continue use the equipment and leave, but I will never trust their corporate again. Oh, and the gym managers never stay, they are transfered, at times, monthly (not an exaggeration).

Do not trust this Gym as their policies and business ethics are very questionable. I signed up and ended up moving out of town, I forgot about it honestly. I cancelled my account in Late December in person and the kid that was helping me couldn’t offer me any paperwork to verify the cancellation. All he did was give me a confirmation number on a sticky note for both my account and my son’s account. They ASSURED me I wouldn’t have any more charges. about 10 days later I received one more charge in late 2024, then another in early 2025. The strange part was that it was a different amount than the normal monthly charges. I contacted them and it turns out it was the annual renewal fee. One for me and one for my son. The person over the phone was super nice and helpful in explaining how their system works and escalated it to a manager. He told me that if it had been cancelled a certain way, the annual fee wouldn’t have auto billed but the first person that helped me didn’t do it that way. The assistant operations manager said he would put in a request to have it refunded but it was out of his control as there is a third party finance company that handles the billing. He was also very nice and wanted to be helpful. The fact that a manager doesn’t have the power to over ride a bogus rule that it has to be cancelled a certain way in order to prevent the recurring annual charge is insane. Heck if it was just the monthly charge I would have understood a little because of a 30 day cancellation period but to charge two more annual fees is wild. I’ll be curious to see if I get the standard copy paste response that the Operations Manager seems to reply with to everyone’s bad reviews. ***edit to add on January 23rd***. I did get the standard copy paste response! makes me wonder if the manager even read my bad review, much less the paragraph before this one. ***edit to add on January 30th*** apparently the management doesn’t care. Their copy paste response that they are actively working on my concern is obviously not true. I haven’t heard from them at all.

Absolutely horrible experience. I went in to sign up for the gym. Of course they brought over their Personal Training person. He gave me a free workout which was great but after that it’s been terrible. He wanted to get me to signup for on-going session, I told him I’m not really interested but give me the night to think about it. He said he’d be at the gym the next day. Well, I text him the next morning I wasn’t interested in the PT sessions. Went to the gym and of course he’s not there like he said he be. So I spoke to another manager, told her the story and to cancel. A few days later I get a text asking me how my sessions were going. A few days after that I get billed for the sessions I never signed up for. I go to talk to manager, not there, again. I call, nothing. I call the next day nothing. I go to the gym, not there. I call again. Nothing. Now I’m going to cancel my gym membership because I don’t want any part of this BS.

I have been training at VASA for the past year and a half and I couldn’t be more impressed. The gym itself is always clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere. I have had 2 great personal trainers. From the very first session, they took the time to understand my fitness goals, tailor workouts to my needs, and push me to achieve more than I thought was possible. I’ve seen huge improvements in both strength and confidence. I love the Studio Red classes. Rebekah is awesome. She is always positive, motivating and genuinely interested in my progress. I highly recommend both the gym and the Studio Red classes to anyone looking for a supportive and challenging fitness experience!

Hello, I am thoroughly impressed with the childcare that the young ladies provide at the East Thunderbird VASA location. Ms. Abby and her team do an amazing job with all the children. I have been to many Anytime Fitness locations, locally and around the country. This is by far the best Anytime Fitness I've been in. Staff personnel are respectful, the gym is clean. But best of all, is the equipment and functional training space it has. Highly recommend.

Everytime I've called some middle schooler or high-school individual answers the phone never taking the conversation seriously and very unprofessional. Giggling or laughing and trying to talk to someone else while again on the phone with me a paying member. I don't think I have ever been disappointed with an establishment as far as I have with customer service. They don't verify your information when calling twice I've gotten other individuals accounts which is so concerning. Anytime you can definitely contact me. Also I cancelled my membership.

The showers looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly for at least a month. The handheld shower lines and floor tiles were encrusted with shower residue. I have been to several ATs over the last month and it seems that the franchise has become lax on its cleanliness standards as many of the showers were in a similar state.

Giving 5 stars for the major points of; low # of members when I am there so I don't have to wait for equipment and the condition of the machines is quite good. Most members re-rack their weights which is much better than the experience that I've had at other companies. Cons; this place is TIRED. Several cracked mirrors and the paint job is dull and damaged....not very energizing to stare at charcoal grey walls and most of the other colors are in desperate need of a refresh. I've been a member of luxurious gyms in the past and though this brand doesn't compare, it seems to get the job done. Overall a very good place to get your sweat on.....just needs some updating.

Definitely an embarrassing experience I saw a Facebook post that said free 6 weeks and I read the whole post now when I showed up it was basically like an interview to see if I qualified for the program. They toured me, asked me questions and right at the end. They showed me a paper that says it’s $300. I understand it’s two payments but it doesn’t matter that is false advertisement and I’m definitely disappointed in the company I told him I’m a single mom with three kids, saw an opportunity and was excited! At least put in the fine print if you don’t lose the weight, you don’t get your money back so basically you pay $300. It’s actually over $300 and once the six weeks are up if you lose 20 pounds you get your money back they need to put in the advertisement because once again it’s false advertising. Also, I wanna know what company interviews people to see if they qualify when it’s really just about making money for them. We all qualify at that point if we’re paying you, we qualify.

I have been a member for years with EoS. I always said I liked it if people asked. I don’t normally don’t write review as I think it’s a waste of my time but this incident has been so infuriating. I would like to give a heads up to people before they go through what I went through. To start with I would HIGHLY recommend to ask as many questions as you possibly can when you sign up or switch to any plan. Biggest questions is when you will be billed and when with my the last day you will have gym access if you were to cancel a plan. Here I will explain what happened and my mistakes as well. I had left EOS because I didn’t have time to workout but a couple months ago I signed up again. They charged me the yearly and the monthly. Then it was just monthly. I had a guest pass and my bf was with me. They said that his “guest pass expired” which made no dam sense because I was the one with the guest pass. But we were confused. They are nice to you in order to sell you. So if you are wanting to buy no problem. They started telling us about a family plan. Which would lower our monthly charge but same membership for both of us. Now looking back at it, we had no problem in the way we were doing things. We ended up switching. I clearly asked if I was going to be charged in the same again. Unfortunately I didn’t clearly ask what I would be charged exactly or what date I would be charged. I am currently budgeting my money and I leave a cushion in my account but I wasn’t expecting $165+ charge. My account went negative and it cost me $30 unnecessary charges. Which makes no sense when I had paid a yearly 2 months prior. I should have been waived or something. I went in, I ranted on the phone and in person. But in the end I realized I didn’t open the email they sent me, that part was on me. They also didn’t explain the charges BEFORE I signed up. Of course I would have decided it wasn’t worth it. They tried to make it as a promo to lower monthly but it’s saving a bit while they take much more. I went in to ask what happened and I came to feel so bad because I was ranting and I realized my part as well. Then this morning I see that I am being charged for my previous membership and because another 30 for being negative. The money to replace it and make it positive again had not gone through yet. Now I am back to being extremely frustrated. They are nice to you and act like they care about your well being up until you are being screwed over. I am not naming names because I believe it’s the whole location. I used to be at a different location and they never screwed me like this. Who knows it could be all EoS. Be assured I am asking for a refund. For one yearly fee and the previous membership. I will give an update on how it all settles out.

horrible experience with personal training only went 2-4 times out of a whole month been charged around 5 times 156$ each time. been having a horrible time every since i first started on October 30th, first time i enrolled they gave me the most expensive plan paying 35$ per month only for me to go 1-2 days to the gym, Eos Staff or the people that get u enrolled should not recommend you the highest plan for someone who's just getting enrolled, the manger "nick" set me up with a personal trainer a week or so after i enrolled, he never told me it would be a contract or nothing i did't get the chance to read the details on the so called "contract" tried cancelling the 2nd week because the "personal trainer" would never reach out to me, i tried making an appointment with the "trainer" and he just cancelled. i called my trainer to figure out what had happend no answer called Eos and they said that they would have me move to another "trainer" and that they would call me to Schedule an appointment never got a call, no text, no nothing Eos has just been draining me i just switched to will do plan, and eos has the audacity to charge a 49 fee just to switch like money hungry! and am only 16. i called to check why i had a 460 something on club balance and i had to talk to the manger "nick" that i wanted it canceled and he said that he would do that and never did they have been charging me without me even going never got called first 2 charges were on my card and i only went 3 times max or 2 and they took 312 out my card for just going 3 days. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ #moneyhungry!!#refundmemymoney

I rate the gym 1.5 stars, the equipment is too close together especially on a week day from 3-6pm good look finding anything open to work out on. See yourself standing next the a treadmill or bench for about 15 minutes waiting for it to open up. Saunas don't even got hot unless there is about 10 bodies in there. My last month here better of at planet or drive the extra mile for LA fitness

I recently visited the brand new gym off 19th Avenue and Baseline Road, and I'm thoroughly impressed! The staff is amazing, especially Assistant Supervisor Brian, who was incredibly helpful. He gave me an in-depth tour of the cryotherapy lounge and the machinery, which was fantastic. The free weight equipment is safe and secure, providing a great environment for strength training. My only concern is the lack of safety belts and wrist wraps available for members to borrow and use. Having these would be beneficial, especially for those of us who have experienced injuries like hernias and want to ensure 100% safety while working out. Overall, it's a great gym with excellent facilities and staff. Highly recommended! ---

I actually love the vibe of the gym but the pool, which is one of the main reasons I joined, is disgusting. Hair balls are floating everywhere. When I asked how often the pool gets cleaned they said they thought once per week. What?!?! That's disgusting! 🤮 For the number of people coming through that gym I expect it to be cleaner. They certainly have enough staff...... If the cleanliness doesn't improve I will take my money to another gym.
