While certainly not as ritzy as the Seattle Yacht Club, the College Club reception and activities room is gorgeously appointed. Lovely view of Lake Union, Queen Anne Hill, the Space Needle and the neighborhood houseboats. The club room comes equipped with a pool table, shuffleboard, poker tables, fireplace, comfy seating area, kitchen, video screens and even a dart board and a selection of board games! It's cozy but there's still a sense of 'niceness' in class, even if not posh.

Amazing GM and staff. Working with Phil and Sky was exceptional and it’s clear that they genuinely care about creating a positive and supportive environment. I have been looking for the right gym for the past 3 years since moving to Seattle and I have tried a number of places. All I can say that no one made me feel as comfortable, excited, and welcomed as Phil and Sky did. Phil gave me the tour of the gym and we chatted about my goals and motivation for joining. Phil clearly had a ton of experience and as we talked, I felt he genuinely prioritized my goals and concerns. He took the time to help me figure out the best plan moving forward so I could feel comfortable, confident, and knowledgeable in the gym (and without breaking the bank). They offer some really amazing promotions as well as a very long free trial period, but I never felt pushed or pressured to sign up - unlike at other gyms I’ve tried. The Wallingford location has a truly positive and supportive vibe. If you’re like me and feel intimidated or overwhelmed by big gym environments, I highly recommend talking to Phil and he will make sure you’re taken care of! If I could give 6 stars, I absolutely would

Super knowledgeable and helpful when you sign up. They are fully staffed and know what they are talking about. If you are serious in getting in shape check it out. Very worth the price. The gym is very clean and all the machines are great.

I attended a Yelp event here recently and was impressed by the fantastic staff. We enjoyed a complimentary group class and hydro massage, along with snacks and drinks. The gym has a cool green vibe, and the equipment and trainers are top-notch. Definitely recommend checking it out!

I have been going to this gym for almost 10 years. Their champions program is a great weekly program and can be scaled to any level. I have seen this program grow and change and is a good mix of exercises. This program will help you get comfortable with all movements and if you want, other olympic lifts. The gym has recently added boxing program, led by Coach Wes. This has been a great add on to my weekly routine. It is it bit more cardio intensive but worth it. I have enjoyed my time here and the coaches and staff are great.

I can’t recommend Experience Momentum enough! I’ve been attending 1-2 classes per week, and every experience has been fantastic. My favorite is the Strength Training for Runners class with Emma or Kelsey—both are phenomenal instructors who bring great energy and expertise. In the fall, I switch gears to their Winter Conditioning class, which is specifically designed to prepare for ski season. The Winter Conditioning course has been a game-changer for me. After completing it this year, I went on a nine-day skiing road trip to British Columbia, skiing all day every day, and felt strong and ready for the challenge. This was my second year taking the course, and I’m already looking forward to the next season. Experience Momentum’s overall program is top-notch. Their thoughtful class offerings, knowledgeable staff, and welcoming atmosphere make it easy to stay motivated and on track with my fitness goals. Whether you’re training for a specific sport or looking for general fitness, their approach is holistic and effective. If you’re considering joining a gym or looking for a way to elevate your training, look no further than Experience Momentum. Check out their website and class descriptions—there’s something for everyone, and the results speak for themselves!

Experience Momentum has been supporting my health and fitness journey since 2019. Their physical therapy team is thorough and kind and they really take the time to get to the root of your problem/injury. They're not just trying to get you out the door, they want to make sure you're progressing and feeling better. Same goes for their fantastic massage therapists (shout out to Sharon) who are extremely knowledgeable and can adapt to however you're feeling that day. I've tried almost everything EM has to offer including nutrition and fitness classes and there's a reason I keep coming back.

Experience Momentum is a great community and gym. The workouts are challenging and interesting but still approachable for everyone at all levels of fitness. Ive attended Strength Training for Runners coached by Kelsey and Emma as well as Boot Camp with Anthony and Patrick, my most recent discovery and another wonderful addition to the gym is the Flexibility and Mobility class on Wednesdays with Becky. I really think gym can offer something valuable to anyone looking to improve their health or fitness with the support of an amazing coaching staff!

I recently started visiting Experience Momentum for massage therapy after my all-time favorite therapist, Sharon, began working there—and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Sharon has been nothing short of amazing, helping me through the aches and pains of pregnancy and now postpartum recovery. She takes the time to truly listen to my concerns and tracks my progress, tailoring each session to meet my needs with exceptional care. If you're looking for a skilled and attentive massage therapist, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Sharon. She's the best!

I love OTF Wallingford!! The coaches are the best— very experienced and high energy. Lots of class times to flex with your schedule, and I love the 2G class formats that this studio offers. I also have appreciated the cleanliness and quality of the studio itself- equipment is always functional and in good condition. I’ve been to many OTF studios across the country and this one definitely exceeds expectations. Such a good community at the Wallingford studio!

Ya gotta love the Y. One thing. I have noticed they cycle through the front desk employees pretty consistently, and the folks working there do sometimes seem a bit beleaguered, so I hope working conditions are okay. do Y workers have a union? I love the University District and Meredith Matthews locations!! It’s not too crowded so you don’t have to wait around to use the equipment. The classes are led by great instructors who are knowledgeable and willing to answer your individual questions. A big selling point for me (and I’m sure others) is that ANYONE can feel comfortable working out here. For one thing, you don’t have to be fit to feel like you belong here (although I see super fit people here too). Another plus - the staff are friendly and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

I cannot rave about this place enough! The staff is unlike any YMCA I have ever been to. You want staff? You get a FAMILY! They are so willing to help out and give assistance and sometimes even do it without asking. The equipment is top of the line and the group classes are so fun! Not only are they fun, but they are structured in a way where you are still getting an incredible workout. I would give my left arm for this gym. It is a bright light in the overcasted and cloudy Seattle. Look no further because this place is the place you've been looking for. They also offer financial assistance for prices!

Seems like a pretty good place for me, so far. A basic gym with lots of machines and programs. Have to clean anything you touch & sweat upon, as the staff won't be doing it. Really wish they'll get water filters for the showers soon -- I don't going to work on my health somewhere then have to shower with chlorinated/fluoridated/toxicated water. Dry sauna is small and gets crowded and too humid, but at least they have one. The crowd is a broad spectrum of people -- not intimidating.

While the Ballard location might seem convenient, it's a sinking ship. Facility Issues: Machines are frequently broken, treadmills out of service, and corporate neglects maintenance. Bathrooms are rarely stocked with soap or paper towels, and towel service costs extra. Water fountains frequently broken + out of service Parking & Security: Limited parking, plus homeless people wander freely via ground-level stairwells. Billing Scam: Canceling is a nightmare. I canceled in-person, got confirmation, and still got charged months later. Even at half the price, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Find a gym that actually values its members.

If you can afford it, go to another gym. They charge an additional $10/month to use their towels, and they don't care at all about guest safety. I spilled my water bottle and told the front desk attendants. Two of them were sitting there, and neither could he bothered to get up and even check or put up a sign. Since I don't pay for towel service I couldn't even get a towel to mop up the spill they didn't care about. They just said they would "let the Janitorial staff know." 5 minutes later no one has drove anything! Another guest eventually noticed and wiped up most of the spill with their towel. I went back up to the desk to ask them to please to do something. They just asked where the spill was. I told them I could show them if they just followed me. Still nothing. Finally I went back a third time to let them know. At this point I was pissed. They called over some manager or something and I told him that this was outrageous and someone had mopped it up. He said "yeah, but we mopped it up." I had to explain that no, this was a guest not staff that had cleaned it up so no one slipped. He just said "yeah, but no one did," which feels like a cavalier response to a potential injury as a result of their negligence. Then he told me that well there is a Janitor who is cleaning it up now, so sorry because he called him 15 minutes ago. So now just add throwing the Janitor under the bus when any one of three staff members could have come and remedied the situation without me repeatedly having to come up and get more and more upset at them. Truly irresponsible. If there were a spill at my place of work and my attitude were to leave it for someone else potentially risking clients' safety it would not be acceptable.

I’m new to this gym but I like everything so far! I had a free consultation with Krill, who showed me the machines as well as some exercises that would help my ankle, which I broke a year ago. He was very thoughtful in coming up with a rehabilitation plan for me, and I left the session feeling energized and motivated to improve my workout routine.

Please hire more instructors. The classes & pool are what set apart this gym from other “just weights and machine” gyms - so please do better. One cycle class a week that gets cancelled almost every time? Same instructors for all other classes, providing no variety? Please work on this.

I've been going to this gym for a year and a half and just cancelled my membership. The gym overall is a nice big space, but has many shortcomings and what ultimately caused me to cancel was a very rude and unpleasant general manager. The gym oversells memberships to the point where even though I go at non peak hours, there are rarely open free weight benches/squat racks ect. If your thing is cardio it might be ok for you. They recently cut down from 2 racquetball courts to one. The pool only has 3 lanes with two swimmers in each so it's always at least a 10 minute wait to get in the pool and many times they rent out a lane to a children's swim class which makes the problem worse. Hot tub is hit or miss on if it's clean or so cloudy I don't want to risk legionella. Lastly I had a bike stolen from downstairs about 6 months ago and since then I have been bringing my bike upstairs and putting it out of the way. This week the desk woman was immediately hostile and demanding I take the bike down stairs. As I explained why I brought it up stairs she became increasingly rude so I asked to speak to the manager. She is the manager, so i asked to speak with her supervisor. I talked to Carlos on the phone who was pleasant enough and said to leave my bike for the day, but in the future could not bring it upstairs. Not what I was hoping to hear but at least he wasn't unprofessional. I can't go to a place managed by someone so rude to me, so I cancelled.

What an amazing gym!!!!! Visited yesterday with a free day pass as looking to maybe move here. Was given a tour and then set loose to enjoy. It's massive, so many different areas to train in. The sauna/steam room/Jacuzzi in the changing room was a lovely touch as well.

It would be cool if it was 24 hours. Love this gym. It’s beautiful. Staff is friendly. Sauna steam are inconsistent sometimes hot sometimes warm. Sometimes they use too much essential oils it’s harsh. I wish it was easier to sign up for the pools Towels are old and small but overall I like this place. I go out of my way to go here and the value is good.

Love this gym. Highly recommend. + pool + sauna/steam + good hours + abundance of equipment + great work out stations + love the staff!!! - toxic level of essential oils in the steam room makes me SICK. Don’t need any of the essential oils in there. - dry sauna smells bad sometimes. - no drinking water in the locker rooms. - hard to get swimming reservation and people will steal your spot. - weekends close at 9pm. - members don’t appreciate how hard the staff works to clean and leaves wet towels everywhere (gross).

Although it's a good well-equipped gym, it's almost impossible to workout here. Every second I hear someone dropping their weights loudly, no one reracks their wesights, and no one cleans after themself. It's like this gym exclusively attracts worst behaved gymgoers. And during rush hours it's impossible to get a squat rack. They should start enforcing some basic rules or at least give basic gym etiquette talk when they give tours to people joinig this gym. I'm canceling my membership and getting away from this gym as I cannot bear this constant improper behavior.

The best place I've yet found in Seattle to bring a young kid where they can do just about whatever they want. This place would have been a dream when I was a kid. Foam pits, trampolines, bouncy floors, rope swings, rings, and large foam blocks in vinyl for climbing. I just wish they were open to the public longer than 1 hour.

Dec 17-2024: I’m writing a second review and I would post multiple 5 star reviews for having a special Olympic program that was added in July earlier this year! The program is open for neurodiverse children. There are 4 children with a coach (Coach Katelynn) and they do an amazing job giving individuals the chance to shine and transform ! I feel like when my child comes here she is totally a different and happier child! I want to especially thank the front desk (Julianna, Riley Kate, Hannah) and coaches Elaine and Ashlyn for all of their hard work and support! This place is amazing, starting with the front desk Person Melia, who is so helpful and patient, taking her time to explain, always having that positive attitude. Also they have professional coaches, always supportive and passing positive comments for my kid.

The place is great. The staff is awesome. The WiFi is a dream while watching the kids tumble and twirl. I'd give a solid 5 stars if the patent seating was better. I know a nice aluminum bleacher is perfectly adequate and I doubt many complain to the desk. But we all hate the bleachers...and complain to each other about the cold back pain after a long day at work. I'll bet we could all fit on something more comfortable. Still love the place though!

Great gym. Hidden gem in Georgetown. The vibe here could not be more welcoming. It’s like a really cool family. Coaches are top notch. I’ve been weight training at 777 for over a year with Taylor, the owner. Her programming really works for me and I’ve had great results. I get super personal coaching that has pushed me as an athlete, but in a safe, methodical approach. I’d recommend this gym to anyone.

I absolutely adore everything about 777! From the vibrant staff to the wonderful members, it's been a welcoming journey since I joined in April 2021. Everyone greeted me with such warmth and enthusiasm! Thanks to the incredible coaches who are not just skilled but also incredibly supportive, I've seen a remarkable boost in my strength and endurance. Starting with no clue about CrossFit, I've not only discovered its effectiveness but also found my fitness family. It truly feels like home! 😊

This is my favorite gym! As a more quiet person, and not extremely athletic, I am so nervous stepping into new gym spaces and communities. I had no reason to worry here! The coaches and staff are there to help you reach any goal, no matter how big or small. And the other athletes are the most encouraging group of people. You can tell that everyone at this gym loves the community they’ve created, and I’m so happy to be a part of it!

I’m so thankful to have joined this gym after my old one closed! I was really struggling to reestablish my workout routine while things were so unpredictable during the pandemic, and the supportive coaches and members at 777 have helped me find my new ‘home’ and the inspiration to show up several times a week. Everyone is really welcoming to new folks, and every level of athlete is welcome here. I appreciate the diversity here, and that it does actually feel like a big extended family. PS don’t miss the holiday party, it’s a total blast!! 💃🏻🪩
