Great place to celebrate kids' birthday or just go to have fun with kids. There are several areas for parents, a comfortable sofas and massage chairs. Love the little store for quick snacks and good hot coffee. Staff was very productive, professional, helpful, and welcoming, as it was the first time here.

Awesome venue, with lots of exciting things to do. Staff are really friendly and the place is spot. Great for birthday parties. The new Interactive walls are awesome, such fun to play on. If you like climbing, jumping and Sport in general, this is the best place to go in Rockville

To help celebrate our daughter's seventh birthday, we booked three tickets for two hours at ZavaZone to use the ropes course. It cost well over $100, but we had a blast. However, our daughter was not tall enough to do the ropes course (kids have to be at least 52 inches tall), so that was a bummer. Their website doesn't clearly note that so if you book tickets purely for the ropes course like we did, be warned. Despite the ropes course hiccup, we had a blast. There are lots of trampolines for jumping, basketball, dodgeball, and more. There's a ninja course, a parkour course, rock climbing, and other equipment. There are lockers for rent or free cubby holes for shoes. Hand sanitizer stations are throughout and a "Parents Zone" on the upper floor. There's a small store with snacks and a strategically placed ice cream freezer at the end of the Ninja course. The parking lot outside if large and free.

Fantastic indoor gym. Our kids love it and always have a blast. Trampolines, obstacle courses, climbing walls, and other attractions for kids of all ages. Facility is clean, well staffed, and not too crowded.

Nice time, dont have to do it again. Came for the high rope course personally. It was fun but takes less than 40 mins for adults. They have trampolines, rock climbing, parent zone for some quiet. The parking will be gone on a busy day.

My family and I recently signed up for a free pass online to try out Gold’s Gym with the intention of potentially becoming members. We were excited to test out the equipment and classes at this location. However, our experience was unfortunately marred by the behavior of the person at the front desk. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an unwelcome attitude. The staff member informed us that our free pass was only valid for the night we booked it. We signed up for the free pass around 11pm because we intend to go the next day. It was not indicated anywhere in the email confirmation or on the website that the pass is only valid for a certain day or it’s only valid the night we signed up for the free pass. We had planned to use the pass the following day, and if we had been aware of this restriction, we would not have made the trip. However, this was not the main issue at all. If there were restrictions regarding the pass in this location, we would have been okay with it. He could've explained it to us properly. The interaction with this individual was disappointing and unprofessional. He was condescending and showed little interest in assisting us. We felt as though he was dismissive and unhelpful, which was surprising given that customer service should be a priority in such roles. People in customer service positions should strive to assist and provide clear information to potential clients. Unfortunately, this experience left us with a negative impression of Gold’s Gym. We hope that management will address these concerns to improve their service in the future.

Friendly and helpful staff. Not as much of a variety of equipment as some of their larger locations. Sauna and showers are a little old. Good experience overall though.

If you're thinking about joining Gold’s Gym, think again. The air conditioning has been broken for months, and the gym's "solution" was to bring in a few fans that don't even work properly. The environment is beyond uncomfortable, making it almost impossible to get through a workout without feeling overheated and frustrated. It's clear that the comfort and safety of their members are not a priority here. With the high membership fees, you'd expect basic amenities like AC to be maintained. But here we are—months later—with nothing but broken fans and empty promises. I’m thrilled to wait for their likely automated response, which will surely do nothing to fix the situation. Save your time, money, and energy—find a gym that actually cares about its members.

A/C has been broken for months. There seems to be no sense of urgency on behalf of management to get the A/C fixed. I didn’t want to be too critical of the gym because everything else is pretty much good but if management is willing to go months on end without A/C it makes you wonder what else is management being neglectful about that members don’t see. It’s so humid and muggy in the gym and it isn’t safe to have an intense workout in there.

I grew up in this area, but have not been local for a long time now. I was in town recently and wanted to check out a place to exercise so I decided on checking out this Gold's. I used a guest pass found online that gives you three days free to try the gym. When I came in the front desk staff seemed a bit confused with my pass. They got the assistant manager to help me and he was a real nice guy named Greg. He was helpful and asked me what I was looking to accomplish and looking for in a gym. His customer service was real good. The location itself is located in Rockville Town Square so parking can be an issue and I imagine this location can get crowded. The days I went were right after Christmas so it was never too busy. The mens locker room is pretty small, but does boast a sauna. When I got out onto the floor what really stood out was how old some of the equipment seemed and how run down the walls were. I am not sure if they charge an annual facility fee like so many gyms like to do now a days, but it doesn't seem like they are putting that money back into keeping things fresh and presentable. The gym has what you would expect from a Gold's Gym like a squat rack, benches, dumbbells, and cardio equipment, but some items are fairly worn. I didn't see any broken machines though. It is not the cleanest gym I have gone to either, but the bathrooms were clean enough and they did seem well stocked when I washed my hands. The price I was quoted for membership dues was $39 a month. This seemed pretty high for this gym in particular, but it did give me access to other locations which I am sure are larger. Additionally, if you look at other reviews they mention experiencing charges on their credit cards after they cancel and I had the same experience over seven years ago when I went to Gold's Gym. At this point I would expect them to get paperwork wrong and have to check my credit card statement continuously, so that also makes $39 a month seem a bit high. I am not sure what gyms in this area are good, but I am not sold on this Gold's location.

Pretty cool recreation center. Plenty of parking but currently under construction. My son plays basketball games here. If you have an EV car, they have a charging station but it's not free. I only wish they would give you a free charge for 2 hrs or at least 1 hr.

My granddaughter transferred to this gym last year and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. She is happy, disciplined and treated respectfully. Thank you to the coaches and staff for a job well done “daily” to make for a national win!!

My daughter starting taking the mini-gymnastics classes at Xtreme when she was 4. We didn't know anything about acrobatic gymnastics before she started but now she's totally hooked and is in her second year on the competitive team. The coaches and staff are professional and caring. They are clearly invested in their jobs and the athletes. They challenge the kids to be their best without being harsh. The gym is in a weird location with bad parking but don't let that dissuade you. It's a truly great community of parents, coaches, and athletes. Highly recommended!

Joining this fantastic gym has been a life changing experience for our young daughter. She first went there for a fun and active summer tumbling camp, then decided to join their acrobatic gymnastics team. She absolutely loves it and has gotten so much out of it on so many levels (physically, emotionally, socially, and more). She spends a lot of time at the gym and has made great friendships there too. She always goes happy and comes back happy. The owner, coaches and staff are outstanding, dedicated professionals who truly care about the physical and emotional development of the athletes and take great pride in their work. Their response to the pandemic has been thoughtful, calm and organized. We feel our daughter is very safe there and she's thrilled beyond belief. 5 stars and more!

Our kids just wrapped up a fun-filled week at Xtreme Acro's Summer Camp. My daughter went from barely able to touch her toes in PE to now doing cartwheels all over our house, while our son asks us each night to count how long he can hold a handstand. Our kids were so excited each morning to go see their new friends and play fun games that are were used to teach new gymnastic moves. It was great to watch the kids group performance at the end of the week. All the kids were cheering each other on and working as one team. The mats, bars, and trampolines were kept clean and were in great condition, the front desk was always cheerful and helpful, and as a major summer bonus: No sunblock, hat, sunglasses, or bug spray was needed!

Love, love, love Xtreme! For fifteen years this place was my second home. Everyone there from the staff to the athletes has so much respect for one another. The staff was able to take me from a beginner level all the way to elite in a matter of years! All of the staff has experience in tumbling, cheer, or Acro which truly helps every athlete in their own way. I strongly recommend choosing Xtreme it was one of the best life decisions that I made!

I have been member for 5 years, and recently terminated my membership due to their mishandling of my credit card on file. Most front desk folks aren’t professional with their service. Previous manager Mike tried his best, but now that he is relocated there’s really not much in terms of proper management. Had good time as a regular but for the lack of proper management.

The gym itself is a 3-star gym. Nothing particularly good, but it has what you expect from a basic gym. However, the process of cancelling a membership is slow, inconvenient, and costly. I moved away from the gym, and needed to cancel my membership. There is no way to conveniently cancel online. After 2 weeks of calling them to cancel, I was still being charged for my membership. I eventually reached a representative on week 3, and my cancellation request was honored. The catch to that you cannot cancel immediately, but for 30 days out, during which they charge you. While I initially requested cancellation of my membership on Sept. 3, 2024, my request was not honored until Sept. 17, and so they are keeping my membership active until Oct. 17 and charging me for that time. That comes to 3 bi-weekly membership fees totaling about $60 after my initial cancellation request, for a gym I'm not close enough to conveniently visit.

The front desk worker, Mark, has an aggressive temperament and acts like he owns the gym, creating an uncomfortable environment. He stares intently at members while they are working out, including females, looking for an opportunity to harass them and let his anger out at a minority. He is often friendly to white members and will walk to their machines and chat loudly, disturbing the other members who are trying to workout. Read the reviews and you'll see the complaints from minorities and praises from white members. No gym should have these many reviews about the front desk guy. Someone with anger management issues should not be working the front desk let alone have access to the personal information of the members. Management will not do anything about it except provide a canned response, it's clear this has been going on for years. I felt discriminated against and do not recommend this gym. Actions reveal values and this is clearly a gym that does not value diversity, inclusion and respect.

This place is soooooo old, most of the machines have something wrong with them. Lots of wasted space with broken cardio equipment. They also gave me a $5 discount, then took it away after a few month. Please fix your equipment!

Our 75 pound dog suddenly started limping a few days ago and could not bear any weight on her leg. She had X-rays done and her Dr. told us to go home and monitor her. I immediately contacted Savitri to work on her leg and that evening she was able to walk on all fours and has since then! Zoe and appreciate and thank you for what you do.

This will be a hard to believe but true story with a happy ending. A few months back I was diagnosed with breast cancer . The concern for having to endure pain leading up to the surgery was anxiety provoking as it would be for anyone . This group who has a healer named Savitri put me in her prayer healing group … she’s been a constant healer in my life during a health crisis . She did not tell me she had put me in with a group of healers to send healing energy to me before and during my surgery. I knew one healer in the group Marta , a reiki master was on top of sending me healing energy as well . So unannounced to me they had formed a group healing for me . The day of surgery comes , I was so concerned of having to deal with pain that I juggled several options and medications to be prepared for this outcome but was shocked and delighted that when I woke up from surgery I felt no pain . I had a little soreness that lasted an hour but honestly after the anesthesia wore off I had no pain . That night and the next day I expected a rebound of pain , but none came . My stay at home nurse insisted I should take , at the very least, 2 Tylenol as a preventative , so I did to please her but it was not necessary. That being said the most painful part of the surgery , was not the surgery it was the time they put my IV in my hand . I am being completely honest, my family and friends were shocked that I was doing so well and honestly were baffled as was I . Yes the power of prayer goes far and many did that for me and I do trust in our Devine , that being said short of a miracle , when I found out my healers were working on this it made more sense why this process was more of a nuisance then a pain , literally . I’m still walking on air , had I not been on that OR table myself I’d of thought they only did a biopsy or something . It’s amazing what healers can do . They are real , their healings work and why wouldn’t you use them when the need be? You have everything to gain and nothing to lose . I even have very little swelling now 3 days post op and an accelerated healing has begun I only have one word for this experience …..wow !!!! Feeling blessed D.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Savitri. I have participated in her Monday night meditation groups and have also had the privilege of attending private, one-on-one, healing sessions. From the tranquil environment she has created, the energy she exudes and her soft-spoken tone, Savitri has always been able to relieve my angst. During my first guided meditation session with Savitri, she was able to direct me towards one of the most powerful divine energies I have experienced. I am very grateful for Savitri’s help and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a path towards improved health- mental, emotional and physical. The sense of peace, calm, power and joy that one walks away with after seeing Savitri is well worth a trip to the New Future Society Center.

Simply put, there is no better center for yoga, meditation, or natural healing. Savitri, the center director and yoga and meditation teacher, possesses the utmost expertise and mastery of a wide range of techniques both ancient and modern; she shares these techniques with her students which can result in the student making rapid progress and life-long changes, in body, mind, and spirit. It is with great pleasure that I recommend this center for any who are interested about finding out more about themselves, and then working to perfect what they find in a systematic and scientific method.

Barry is by far one of the BEST coaches at this studio. He is truly a star trainer & coach. His energy is so infectious, his playlists are always good, his attention to each members’ individual goals & needs, and his ability to create an amazing workout environment is top tier. I enjoy every single class with him. He’s a genuinely warm person that cares about members and always spends extra time going above and beyond making sure each class is high energy and all members are accommodated & challenged, even in a full class. Even just working out in class with him is a treat. He’s going to keep you laughing and always making it fun! 10/10 stars if I could rate Coach Barry! TAKE HIS CLASS!

I was never a "gym person" pretty much always active running mostly! I joined with a friend that pushed me to get moving and I was hooked in one week! Now I go at least 6 times a week, sometimes 7. My whole life is changed for the good, feeling strong, more energy, motivation to eat beetter and best of all is seeing the results. I guess I am now a "gym person" and anyone can do it! Great instruction and community that makes my 6:30AM routine worth the early wake up call! Thanks to ALL the instructors I am getting stronger and pushing myself in ways I did not know was possible. Give it a try, you will not be dissapointed.

F 45 Potomac has completed reshaped me in the last year. At 70 years old last year, I set a goal to go surfing again and Jose and his team got me in shape. I lost 20+ pounds. Bottom line, at 71 I surfed Barbados last February. Could not have met my goal without my friends at F 45 Potomac
