I am heartbroken that I need to: 1. Rate this location poorly, 2. Stop my membership. I recently switched to Equinox because of this location of lifetime. This location was the easiest access to me. However it is NOT WORTH IT! If you’re going to the other locations in midtown they are absolutely worth it. But this one has such a small area for weights/machines. It’s too small for me. There is only one of each machine so that means that you need to constantly be waiting to use another machine because someone must be using it. Also, one thing I really hate, I do not see any wipes to clean the seats. Maybe it’s just the times I went but I NEVER saw any wipes to clean the equipments and it’s so disgusting to think about. Maybe it’s just my OCD? But it was a major turn off and honestly the biggest factor as to why I made the heartbreaking decision to end my membership. Trust me I did not want to do that. Lifetime is the ultimate luxury gym. The changing rooms are gorgeous and the gym always smells AMAZING!!! Best scent I’ve ever smelled. If you are not a germaphobe like me, then go ahead and join Lifetime. I just can’t bring myself to justify having a membership when I feel uncomfortable or disgusted or paranoid when using the equipment.

I’ve been to fair share of gym in manhattan and recently retired from equinox. This place makes me feel positive energy and welcomed. Even the maintenance staff are friendly unlike equinox, I think that goes to show what type of company Lifetime is.

Kinda small but if you avoid off hours it's usually not busy and there's a good selection of weights & machines. Nice that there are multiple squat racks and benches. Kept clean and lockers are nice.

Had an amazing ARORA strength training class. On Friday, August 23 with Jo. I was the only participant LUCKY ME! Lifetime please more Arora classes. The classes are perfect for any age. Not just for those who crossed the Senior citizens bridge.

This is the smallest gym I’ve been to outside of a hotel. Very easily crowded. It is just too convenient to my office to not go.

Here now. People talking loudly ion their cell phones. Someone is clearly on drugs the way he’s waving his arms around. The girl next to me is wearing see through pants so we all know she’s wearing black panties. 2 super sad looking trainers. What are we all paying for?!? Where are the better options???

Went with a friend to join a class at 74th St. Have friends who have had day passes. Petite front desk woman at 8a on Thurs was extremely short with me and told me I had to speak with membership who wouldn’t arrive until mid morning. I was kind about the misunderstanding. She probably shouldn’t be at the front desk, doesn’t know how to interact professionally with clients. I was going to rejoin at the west side location, I was a member for many years pre Covid and now this interaction makes me rethink it. Unfortunate.

If you’re looking to resume your workouts after Labor Day weekend, find somewhere else. You’re going to work out in a hole in the ground with the AC not working at times, some other times, there is no hot water. Overcrowded classes (and it’s not even September yet). Also you better know how to properly do the exercises in the group classes, because none of the instructors is ever going to correct you. They come in and out, they don’t even look at you. This is what $300 a month get you in New York City.

Would be a great gym if the AC worked. The AC is constantly broken for months on end. Management is not helpful and refuses to provide credits even when the AC is broken in 90 degree heat. As far as I am aware, the AC has never worked properly in the cycling studio. I joined this gym so I’d be motivated to go- the heat in the gym leaves me motivated to stay home. Management is dismissive and not responsive of these concerns.

Just recently re-joined this gym and very glad I did! Andrew helped me get an amazing deal re-joining. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Staff were nice to me. They speak English only so if you cannot speak English use google translate! Very good security. I felt safe in there. Women bathroom door locks so no one will walk in. Gym and sport facility was top notch!! Great coffee shops near by. Disliked · Think insane asylum decor. Smells like a stinky wet dog in the room. Bunked needs to be bolted to the wall cause you hear squeekin everytime someone moves. Room was extremely hot. Doors need to be painted a cheerful color they are all scrapped and brown color. The hallways are sad looking. Shower low pressure Luke warm.

My first time staying here & at first was kind of a culture shock but I learned to truly enjoy the experience. Next to Central Park, YMCA westside is A beautiful 1928 Architectural icon Hostel hotel; Loved the location, love the pricing, Worked around the bathroom situation. The pool area & locker room was a definite bonus and the workout room was appreciated At no additional cost. Do bring your own personal appliances as there are none on site. But sooo many places to see and eat at within walking distance. Would absolutely do.it again.

Great location, mins walk to Central Park, Columbus circle and Subway station. 15mins walk to Times Square and every other attractions nearby. 20mins walk to the MET and AMNH. If you expect this is a star rank hotel, it will fail to reach ur expectations, however if you think this is a university dormitory, the facilities will fit the requirement. This an affordable, comfortable and safety property not only in West side but entire Manhattan! The property have around ten private bathrooms at the floor of semi-private bathroom room, and you can easy access to the view of Central Park from the windows, it also comes with bottle filling machine which can save ur bottle.

Here are the lyrics to the iconic song "Y.M.C.A." by the Village People: Young man, there's no need to feel down I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town There's no need to be unhappy Young man, there's a place you can go I said, young man, when you're short on your dough You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find Many ways to have a ball It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A Young man, are you listening to me? I said, young man, come on and take a plea You can get yourself clean, you can have a good meal You can do whatever you feel Young man, I was once in your shoes I said, young man, I was down with the blues I felt no man cared if I were alive I felt the whole world was so jive That's when someone came up to me And said, "Young man, take a walk up the street" There's a place there called the Y-M-C-A They can help you, but you've got to be brave It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A Y-M-C-A, it's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A Y-M-C-A, it's fun to stay

Dirty beyond belief. I asked for a refund but they never answered. Bathroom didn’t have an handle and was clogged and full of insects. Window wouldn’t close, beds super old, sheets dirty. Should not rent out.

Equinox Sports Club is absolutely top-notch! The facility is spacious, immaculately clean, and packed with state-of-the-art features, including an incredible rock climbing wall that’s a must-try. A special shout-out to Alexander, who works on the climbing wall. He’s quick, attentive, and incredibly kind, making the climbing experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. Also, a big thank you to David for his expert stretching sessions—they’ve been a game-changer for my recovery. This is hands down my new favorite fitness destination. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a premium experience!

Staff is inconsiderate and lacks basic customer service skills. I've had better experiences at Planet Fitness. I would not recommend using Equinox. There's simply no way the membership fees are worth the exorbitant price.

I love Equinox, but for one overriding, and scary, factor. The lifeguards and management that enable them don't care about your safety. The lifeguards are preoccupied with their own entertainment; they sit on a chair amusing themselves on their phones, heads down fixed on their screens, rather than looking at the swimmers they are paid to watch. Some of them sit and do their homework. Others sit and read a book. One weekend lifeguard was transfixed on his screen, streaming what appeared to be a movie. At least two wear AirPods, or other ear pieces which all but ensure that they don't hear swimmers. This means that the employees whose job it is to guard swimmers don't see them because they are not looking at them, and they don't hear them because their hearing is compromised. Management has been alerted to this repeated times, but the problems persist. Even new lifeguards seem untrained for the task. One new lifeguard sat gabbing away on his phone while swimmers swam in the wrong direction in their lane. It's as if the guards start their shift and say to themselves "great, now I have time to sit here, go through my emails, write texts and otherwise have fun." They are getting paid to guard against potentially fatal accidents, yet they fail to do their job and leave swimmers at risk.

Very vertical but equipment-packed. Everything here including open squat racks almost any time. 130lb dumbbells. Tons of cardio. Haven't seen the place packed, but haven't been here in the after-work hours. Great workouts every time.

I've been a member on-and-off since 2004 (when it was the Reebok Club) and a member of various gyms (including other equinox clubs) since I was a teenager. I have NEVER seen filth or mismanagement on the level I've seen since rejoining the Sports Club in 2023. The locker rooms are filthy and unstaffed. Previously there was always one person upstairs and another 2 downstairs during busy hours. Now maybe there is one person for 3 floors. There are always dirty towels everywhere. On one occasion, a dirty pair of underwear was on the floor for at least an hour, another a large, dead cockroach lying by the jacuzzi. The hairdryers are so weak they couldn't blow out a candle. Several hairdryers have been "out-of-service" for months as has at least one shower. Then, there was the day TWO MONTHS ago when I opened a shower door to discover dirty takeout containers, utensils and towels in the stall. The same day dirty, wet towels were also all around the locker, steam room and sauna. I complained to the front desk and in writing to management. Still waiting to hear back. I've emailed the GM multiple times with NO response other than a AGM thanking me for "policing the locker room since he can't". Wait, they have no female employees able to enter the locker room to see it's filthy and lacking towels??? Are they unaware that they have nobody staffing the locker rooms. There are also frequently people in the spa area who are clearly not members (you can tell because they have all their belongings including their purses and phones nearby and sleep on the lounge chairs). This in addition to people talking on speakerphone in the locker room. Of course there are no attendants to tell them that phones are a no-no in the locker room and spa. The club's hours were so truncated Thanksgiving weekend that it was impossible to get to the gym for a workout. This was unlike every other gym in the city that had holiday hours on Thanksgiving and normal ones the rest of the weekend. When I arrived, the locker room was filthy, there were no towels, dirty/wet towels were everywhere including the steam room, sauna, benches in locker room. The lifeguard (is he even a certified lifeguard?) was unaware that since the club closed at 4, the pool would be closed a half hour earlier and offered me a lane reservation at 3:30 (when the pool would be closed). I gave up and went home since without towels, I couldn't even take a shower. If this were a one-time issue, I'd be upset, but it's ongoing. I rejoined because I had fond memories of the well-kept facility, loved the classes and instructors and was able to swim. That is a distant memory. Now there are significantly fewer classes, they aren't consistent (no more same class, same instructor 2 or 3x/week at the same time) and none in the afternoon (in ye olde days there was at least a mid-afternoon yoga class). The classes aren't very good and don't create the community that I enjoyed previously as a member. The few that are worth taking fill up within 2 minutes of opening in the app. When I told an instructor that I was just getting back in shape after an illness and asked if I needed a mat, she nastily replied "only if you need it for emotional support." Another class had truly awful sped-up muzak. When I asked about it, the instructor said she doesn't listen to it, only picks out playlists that have the right beat. A terrible experience. Wildly expensive ($350/month). Total ripoff.

I do not come to NYC without buying a class pack for the time I’m here and this is definitely my go to location. The class is super hardcore which I love but at any point you can modify anything you need to. There’s also something very luxurious about this gym. For example, they don’t ask you to wipe down your machine, they do it for you and there’s a towel waiting for you at your treadmill and at your bench and you can have a smoothie waiting for you at the end of your work out. None of it is really necessary but it’s all very nice touches! Instructors are all amazing and so is the music!

Barry's UWS is outstanding@! Full of the best teachers who make me push myself to the hilt. I get such a great workout every time I go. Hunter and Jennifer are my very favorite teachers. Super-motivating!

Barry's changed things for me when they moved in three blocks from where I live. NO excuses! Love the instructors, and staff are terrific.

WATCH OUT!!! This location is a nightmare!!! There is a THIEF IN THE LOCKER ROOM!!!!! They know and they continue to go back as they know they can get away with it. For as expensive as this gym is they allow whom ever to come in and know they can steal while the customers are working out. I had very valuable items stolen - they take no accountability and are even a bit passive about it like well you shouldn’t leave them in your locker. MULTIPLE WOMEN have had their purses and valuable items STOLEN: My Cartier watch and VINTAGE LV bag were stolen while others had their Gucci and Goyard purses stolen. Since there are no cameras in the locker room this thief will keep getting away with it. At the time they had no signs up in the locker room and now they are all over the gym. I have spoke to the police and done everything I needed to on my end but in the end Barry’s and their insurance company take NO RESPONSIBILITY! THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CLIENTELE!!!

Barry has such fun and welcoming class. Hunter gave me a warm welcome to the class and motivated everyone to take it at our own pace. Really love how he brought the exercise to life! The toilets are so clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Definitely will come back.

EQ HAS LOST ITS EDGE. The staff is largely wonderful. Nice front desk and sales team. The cleaning staff is always working as well as they can with what they have. The trainers… there are a few as fit as you might hope to one day become but are not at all the army of aspirational bodies EQ was once known for. The design and layout, while due for a renovation, is pretty good. There are a lot of windows, which is ideal. That being said, it’s a bit cramped for the number of members they have. Ultimately, EQs prices keep going up Up UP and its quality goes down down down. Poor financial management and performance likely explain why the local team is not able to address fixes as well and as quickly as they used to; showers and patched up ceilings go unmended for months on end. There are showers in the men’s locker room that have been broken for months. “Out of order” signs are the norm and not the exception. Additionally, back in the day you’d never see maintenance happening. It’d be expertly done during off hours. Now you’ll see the cleaning staff painting or quick-fixing tile grouting during operating hours. All last week there were boxes of tiles sitting around in the Lounge in the men’s locker room. Far from the luxury experience it was before Related acquired EQ… which exponentially got worse since Covid. If you’re gym shopping, go to LIFETIME.

One of the nyc branch which opened earliest in time. Feels Spacious, no pool or sauna just steam

Have been coming here a few months now. Front desk people always very unfriendly making it fairly unpleasant from the offset. Everyone who uses this gym has very poor gym etiquette - people do not put plates back when done, don’t wipe down after using equipment, stand right in front of the free weights blocking you so they can see themselves better in the mirror, and you have the constant feeling everyone is staring at you always. Men’s showers don’t feel very clean. Gym is always overcrowded (regardless of weekday vs weekend) and you have to wait for everything you want to use, particularly bench press and free weights.

Not worth the amount of money we get charged. This location is small. Many times there is a machine broken, towels are old, and during peak hours it is impossible to find a spot to workout. The majority of the classes are bad, meaning they don’t have good teachers compared to other locations. Most teachers have an attitude. In past year I only found 2 teachers that were professional and actually knew how to teach and what they were doing. Most of the staff is polite and helpful (that has been my experience). I wouldn’t recommend this location. Consider Chelsea Piers or LifeTime Fitness and if you are only lifting go to a Blink gym (this location is pretty much the same as Blink Fitness, this is not a high end gym as they claim to be)

I’m actually quite impressed. Was expecting it to be low on equipment and super overcrowded. The weight lifting equipment is in great shape, clean and plentiful. Good variety of equipment for all weight lifting routines. Bathroom was clean with plenty of lockers. If you need a gym in the area, worth taking a look.

John Radzik is the best manager in here. Not only is he funny and compassionate but he’s always professional with a big smile in his face. He hooked me up with my membership and made the signing up process so easy. I recommend this location to anyone.

Staff is awesome. Machines and locker rooms are good. However, the weight room upstairs doesn’t smell great. I know it’s a gym, but I’ve been to other gyms where the smell is only moderate and I can leave without feeling like I immediately need to wash my hair. The smell upstairs is pretty oppressive, to the point where I avoid the weights. Crunch staff, please add some air purifiers or look into a deep clean to help with this!

I’ve been going to this gym for about a decade. Checking in is an easy swipe. Several people who work there know my name and use it, which I appreciate. It’s clean, and my fellow co-members are courteous. I generally go early or mid afternoon; it’s not crowded at these times. They always have clean towels available. It’s a bit more expensive than I would like, but in NYC, it could be worse. That’s the reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5, along with the policy of if you’re going to freeze your membership, it has to be on the first of the month.

Smaller than other gyms. Clean, but sadly souna was closed. Most employees there are great. Had a bad experience with the manager who not only spoke to me disrespectfully via email but also lied about the monthly cost both in writing and over the phone. Crunch please train staff in managing positions. Specifically those who are on salary.

This location was where I took my first in-person Fhitting Room class (I'd done digital for a while), and it was honestly the best workout I'd had in ages! The FHITpros (instructors) were really knowledgeable, taught me how to use kettlebells properly, and most importantly, they were fun! I've been going for 4 years now, and almost gone to 600 classes since then. Highly recommend!

Fhitting room is the absolute best group fitness class in the city. All of the trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, super kind, and really give solid individual feedback while leading a fun upbeat class. I couldn’t recommend it more!

I've been taking weekend classes at Fhitting room over the last 2 years and have come to enjoy them. The coaches have a very positive energy and spend the time to demonstrate how to do all of the exercises. They are active during class and walk around to give corrections, whether you're a regular or a newbie. The class is hard, but there are always multiple levels of every exercise so you can do the one that works for you. In some of my first classes, I was nervous about doing the exercises in smaller groups but I've come to realize that no one is watching or judging you. Everyone's working their hardest. It's a great workout! And the front desk and cleaning staff are friendly, too.

Group class that is closest to a pt session! All instructors give great direction and modifications if needed. Love the corrections while walking around the class. Music good. Friendly staff and members. Great locker room/showers! 100/10!

There are so many amazing fitness options available at this place! From boxing and yoga to Pilates and swimming, they have it all. Not to mention the kids' daycare services and the wide range of TV channels in different languages. The facility is always clean, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Plus, they provide everything you could possibly need for your workout, from hair ties to personal hygiene items, including shaving kits, all for free. It's truly a top-notch establishment with personal trainers on hand to help you out.

The facilities are nice but they don't really care about maintaining them. They only have 3 woodway treadmills and one has been out for over 2 months! For runners this is the only treadmill that matters especially in the winter so the demand for it is very high. There is always a line! I've alerted the front desk multiple times but nothing seems to happen. I'm sure they are like this with other things this is just the only thing I come for... Very disrespectful towards their customers. Edit: thanks you for reaching out. As of now all three treadmills don't have Internet connection so it's not possible to access the PR plans. The manager was very kind about trying to fix it. I hope it doesn't take another couple of months 🤞🏻

I LOVE this equinox. 4 floors. Lots of space on each. Tons of equipment. And lots of sunlight here. A well stocked smoothie bar w sandwiches. Locker rooms are clean, as is the rest of the club. I went early afternoon on a weekday and it was packed without feeling packed!

I’m a first time Equinox all-access member and I absolutely love it! I do group fitness and I lift weights. I think it’s worth it if you go often (5-7 days/week) and use the gym. This location is clean, has friendly staff and trainers, is home to a gorgeous barre (and other cycling/yoga/boxing/strength) studio, and I appreciate that they have a SoulCycle bike with a monitor + access to SoulCycle on demand & selected livestream classes. Alex was my membership advisor and he was helpful with answering questions I had about different types of memberships and my experience felt very positive/personalized with him (not pressured in talking to him)- highly recommend working with him if you have any questions about membership or Equinox in general!!

I love coming to this location because it is convenient from my home. Front desk staff are always friendly, and sometimes will even acknowledge you by name. The store employees are always helpful and friendly when you need to buy new clothing or a new water bottle. The women’s steam room is top-notch and perfect temperature to get a nice steam on but unfortunately the showers and locker room overall is very small. Unlike other equinox locations that have big showers on one side and small showers on the other side, this location unfortunately only has small showers. The lockers are extremely small. Fortunately, I don’t notice this location having a problem with members leaving towels everywhere. Everyone does a better job putting away towels here. The cleaning/maintenance worker Olga works very hard and does an amazing job despite other members thinking that they can talk down to her as I witnessed in the locker room. Other members need to treat cleaning/maintenance staff with the upmost respect and disrespect should never be tolerated.

The gym is good but there needs to be something done about the layout of a few areas. Why isn't there a larger chest area downstairs? There is a small room for the dumbbells and it's cut off from the rest while there are two squat racks against the back wall. Couldn't those be switched around so there is room for more benches and weights? Also, the cardio area upstairs is too large, it could be scaled down a bit to offer more room for core based machines, which this location is severely lacking in. I only see an ab machine but nothing targeting obliques; an ab coaster would be greatly appreciated. Also, a proper back extension machine would help too, there are a lot of workouts which I'm missing out on that target the spinal erector. The 94th Street location is nice after the remodel but could use some changes like this to maximize the workouts of its members.

The best gym ever. And I have been to many. Helpful friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable about powerlifting and taught me a lot. If I win in my next competition, national or world, I will certainly give a shout out to the gym. Wish that I could remember the names of the ever so helpful staff. The equipment is top rate. The bench for benching is the best I’ve ever used. Terrific gym. Thanks for the opportunity to use your facility!

I've been a member of NYSC for a long time I wish they had a place upstairs for you to hang your coats for working out so you don't have to take it all the way downstairs to a locker or leave your coat downstairs alone. Also I wish the wait area had a better flow I feel like I can't do a good circuit I'm just jumping on whatever machine is available I also wish they still had staff that walked through to make sure everything's okay to make sure people know how to work the equipment.

I use a wheelchair, and loved the elliptical bike here. It was very modern and comfortable. There were two bathrooms: the one on the top floor was very narrow, and the one (more♿) on the bottom floor was near the lockers. No pool, but nice sauna. Loved the two massage chairs. Very soothing, and relaxing for my back. Great weight machine.

I have been attending yoga classes with Annette for a while now, and I can confidently say she is one of the most fantastic instructors I have ever had the privilege to learn from. From the very first class, it was evident that Annette brings an exceptional level of passion, expertise, and care to her teaching. Annette’s classes are a perfect blend of physical challenge and mental relaxation. She has a unique ability to make each session feel tailored to the needs of the participants, offering modifications for various skill levels while encouraging everyone to push just beyond their comfort zones. Her deep understanding of yoga’s principles is clear in the way she explains each pose, ensuring that we not only execute the movements correctly but also understand the purpose behind them. One of the standout aspects of Annette’s instruction is her calming presence. She creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that makes it easy to focus and truly immerse in the practice. Her soothing voice guides you through each flow with a rhythm that feels both natural and grounding. She always takes the time to check in with her students, offering personalized feedback and encouragement that fosters growth and confidence. Moreover, Annette’s dedication to her craft is evident in how she continues to evolve her classes, incorporating new techniques and sequences that keep the practice fresh and engaging. Her sessions are thoughtfully structured, ensuring a balanced mix of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. It’s clear that she invests a lot of time in preparing her classes to provide the best experience possible. Beyond her technical skills, Annette’s genuine kindness and positivity make her a joy to be around. She radiates a warmth that makes every class feel like a safe space to explore and grow, both physically and mentally. Her enthusiasm for yoga is contagious, and she inspires her students to approach their practice with curiosity and dedication. In summary, Annette is a truly exceptional yoga instructor who goes above and beyond to create an enriching and empowering experience for her students. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, her classes are a must-try. I cannot recommend her highly enough

Brian and Celina very helpful at the front. Zack is an excellent teacher Kudus to Tony for keeping all the bathrooms, and showers clean. It’s remarkable that other gyms nickel and dime you for towels but when you come to this orange theory, the towels are complimentary and the space is clean and modern. Lastly, I love this location because it steps away from just salad a good a coffee shop and Trader Joe’s all great places to stop for a post recovery!

Orangetheory 92nd has genuinely been one of the overall best and warmest studios I’ve been to in the NYC area. I’ve jumped around to at least 4 studios in New York, countless in the DC area, London, and others and this studio is definitely one of the best communities I’ve found. The coaches are top tier, with a perfect mix of friendly warmth and targeted pointers to actually improve your form. I look forward to taking class with Cat! She’s a bundle of energy and never ceases to make me laugh! I have really loved classes with Zach and Nick as well. Thanks OTF 92nd!

Great environment. This is a no brainer compared to other fitness options for a lot of reasons. I get in, I get out in an hour. Great full hours of working out with my own treadmill and own weight set. You don't have to spend time spent waiting passive aggressively for someone who's scrolling Instagram to get off a machine. Great staff and all the coaches are really great. Friendly fitness environment for all levels.

What a great place to workout. Very warm and accepting environment. From the time you walk in Brian and his team welcome you with smiles. The coaches are like an All-Star team. Coach Nick, Zach, Jenna, and Conner are amazing and I always take something away from our sessions. And then there is the GOAT but I just call her Coach Cat. I highly recommend taking one of her classes she brings such high energy and positivity. OTF 92nd, you will leave sweaty and sore but with a smile on your face. Give it a try.

I joined as a founding member and I’m still going strong. Why? I can run for miles, lift the heaviest weights I thought I never could, and learned to enjoy rowing. I was the out of shape kid in gym class, so for me this is a huge thing! The coaches keep it fresh and interesting - Nick will work you to the bone, Cat will make you laugh, and Zach will make you want to be better and makes a killer playlist. There are also hidden bonuses of Orange Theory - individualized support through coaches corners, special fitness benchmarks, and a supportive community. Iove my Orange Theory at west 92.

Only one leg extension machine is entirely insufficient. every time I come here, 75 to 98% or the cardio equipment is left unused, while there's a long queue for the leg extension machine. this can be remedied quite easily but the franchise appears to be switching out the two older, better leg extension machines that once adorned each location with a single newer yet stiffer, lesser machine. it's like they want to inconvenience gym-goers on purpose.

So I'm a few days late with this review because I had a good workout and a good rest 😂. Not only is this location clean and well stocked with everything you could need but the staff is so helpful. I'm more than sure that is Sam's doing since she is precise, informative, and overall absolutely amazing. Even helped me with a lock situations at the last minute. I was very hesitant at first but this has been one of the best locations I have been at for ANY gym and I am pleasantly surprised. I am very happy they had the trial day as well so I could get a feel for it. Definitely recommend this location

I wish I could give this -0 stars. On March this year I walked into this branch and spoke to a rep at the counter. I explained that I live in South Carolina and that I was only VISITING. She said that after 45 days I could go ahead and cancel which to me that was OK. After the 45 days I call to cancel and I am told I have to do it IN PERSON. I explain I was never informed of this and request a Manager CB and to this day I am still waiting for the call. Evry time that I call there NEVER IS a supervisor available, NEVER. Fast forward to Saturday August 24 2024, I TRAVELED to NY and walk in to cancel said subscription. The agent helps me and the screen says I have to pay $39 which I explain to her I am not paying any more money. I then get written on a sheet and told that I would get a cb. Today Aug 29 2024 I AM STILL WAITING for said cb. I called AGAIN and guess what? THERE IS NO SUPERVISOR available so again I have to wait. This company and location is a JOKE. I advise for you to search somewhere else because this company ain't it.

Came to this gym to get a nice workout in which was a horrible decision. You would think trainers have gym etiquette but not these two. The trainer (A FAT GUY ON TONS OF STERIODS, A MANBUN & A WEIRD LOOKING NOSE) took over a hour on a machine which they have two of but one was out of service. I asked the trainer how much longer he has and he said 15 more minutes after already being on it for 45 minutes. I came back in 15 mins. He then got upset and tossed his towel on the floor in frustration and wanted to fight. Then tells the other trainer (THE TRAINER WITH THE EAR GAUGES) who was near by that he is going to do 8 more sets just to make me wait longer. they both giggled while i walked away. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Blink Fitness. I recommend everyone to stay away from this gym cause trainers at this gym will fight you if you ask how much longer they have on a machine. P.S. DONT DO STEROIDS KIDS. THE ROIDS MAKE YOU RAGE AND THIS MAN WAS RAGING.
