Best 24 Hour Gym near Los-angeles, California

Very crowded between 230pm and 9:30pm (Mon thru Thurs) and to add insult to injury , they hog machines just to be on their phones not working out . The clerks can't tell them to stop because their is no policy on how long they can be on a machine . Other than that staff is nice and the massage chairs are a plus 👍🏾 I poster holiday hours

I enjoy it only because I come at 4:30am when it's not too packed.

The staff they have are so rude for some reason. And they are on their phones and eating while on the clock. I get they have breaks but when you're on the clock and get made for me asking about a membership it makes no sense. I have a black card I had brought a guess with me. And I got the massage bed for my guest with MY MEMBERSHIP. The staff got mad at me and said that they were not allowed to use the bed even though they were my guess. And I have done this before and no staff have ever told me this before. So I don’t see the problem. And when I tried to offer a fist bump to kinda “swash the beef” the dude said he was eating and rolled his eyes at me. Like my bad for trying to use the membership I am paying for and using the perks that come with it. No need to roll your eyes and make a scene in a public place. When there are people that slam weights which is against their rules. They checked me for using my membership. The new staff they have hired have such attitude problems and feel superior or something to be so rude to the gym goers. My friend is now hesitant to even go near this location due to the rude and poor quality of the staff.

All of the PF are clean and the staff are always friendly. Idk why/how people have bad reviews. This is how nice the staff are there: There was a homeless lady who walked in and got water. They attempted to stop her when she first walked in (which is understandable) but they allowed her to drink. Upon finishing drinking some water, she dashed into the bathroom. The gentleman was telling her to not go in but she did. He informed a female staff member and she went inside the bathroom. I was on the treadmill so I don't know what was said. Fast forward to the lady leaving. They told her she can't use the bathroom and that it is for members. A staff member went in the bathroom and cleaned it. My point is, they showed her compassion which is rare these days. They could have been rude and disrespectful. They could have ushered her out. They actually had the right to refuse her, but they didn't. They could have called the police or security because the lady was trespassing, however, they did not. Two thumbs up to the staff there. I am not sure if this is the PF on Wilmington or Hawthorne. So to be clear, this incident transpired at the PF on Wilmington.

New here but I love it because it's not that packed. All machines are available they greet you well. You feel welcome. And the6 have parking.

Locker room is DISGUSTING. I got here at 8am and this is how it looks. Meanwhile, there are 4 workers at the front desk standing around. Cancelling my membership ASAP. It was my first day here!! How disappointing! This is the Sunset Blvd Hollywood location.

(Edit below) BEWARE. Once they have your card on file, they WILL charge bogus charges. And if you try to rectify it, it is impossible to talk to an actual person. Corporate is just a series of answering machines. Terrible experience, choose any gym but this one, they will steal your money and hope you don't notice. Edit: You'll see the response "...We appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention...Please reach out to us at..." I have emailed, I have called, I've talked to staff at the desk, and 24 has made VERY clear that they do NOT intend to reimburse any of the charges (I was charged $180 last month for no reason). The best workout is running away from this place.

I was excited for this gym due to the extensive equipment available, yoga classes, sauna/steam room, and other amenities.. But this is the dirtiest gym I've ever been to and the crew doesn't even restock the disinfectant spray for patrons to atleast wipe down our equipment after use. What does the cleaning crew even do at this location? I've cancelled my membership.

Had a pair of family heirloom sunglasses fall out of my pocket on the gym floor and realized it within a 5 minute period. Immediately went to the front desk and asked if they could check the cameras to see if anyone grabbed them or they saw me drop them. They gave me an excuse saying that only the managers can check the video and that the manager would be in about half an hour. So i waited over an hour and half while they gave me the ring around. The manager was over an hour late and even though they saw me waiting in the front they didn’t care enough to tell me that he wasn’t going to be here when they originally thought. Awful customer care, combined with a not my problem attitude. I was kind and respectful the entire interaction with the staff and they just couldn’t be bothered. Also what manager shows up over an hour and half late. These glasses were something my grandmother brought from her home country and were of great importance to me and if they had acted promptly i might’ve been able to recover them. Unprofessional, unhelpful and selfish. What a joke. Also from what i’m seeing from these comments i just know they’re going to comment on this saying “thank you for the feedback, it is valued, we’re working towards a better system” etc. Truth is they won’t do anything at all. Hope i’m wrong .

Mold growing in water fountains and filth left for weeks in them. I guess the cleaning crew don't do water fountains. But the front desk people are nice & friendly. To all the people complaining about having to pay for parking, the 24 hour fitness does not own the parking garage and has no control over it. Most people just park on the side streets that are free except for Monday & Tuesday mornings that have street cleaning. Just read the parking signs and walk a block instead of complaining about parking. Its not Equinox with Valet and people too lazy to walk a block, then get on the treadmill always made no sense to me.

NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWERS! Why? Lots of members are complaining. I have been with LA Fitness for years and became a member here in May. Jordan, Lilly, Erwin, Pavel are very nice, efficient, helpful and professional especially during my personal check in as the app does not work. It takes seconds! The managers James & Jazzi will let you wait. They constantly ask your name, birthday and telephone number even if I’m in the gym almost daily. Why? The location and facilities have deteriorated with showers having no water, no shower heads, no soap, always dirty and slip hazard. The toilets and lockers are dirty especially during the weekend. The pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room are dirty with mold & mildew.

The gym floor is always dirty. The windows and mirrors are always dirty. The mats by the window used to stretch on are always nasty and filthy, so bad you don't even want to sit on them or touch them. It's Monday January 6th and the gym look like it has not been clean in weeks or better yet months. it appears that they don't have a cleaning true which is a health hazard in a high volume gym like this. I have spoke to the manager James several times and I think it's just out of his control he is a nice guy but the gym is always dirty. I've been a 24-hour fitness member for 30 years. I left this gym and I didn't want to come back because it's always dirty but I need a gym close to my house and this is the only one. I have been to a lot of gyms 24 Hour Fitness, Planet Hollywood, Gold's Gym, you name it. This is the dirtiest gym I ever been to. The gym is very under staff.

I've been a member since they opened the super gym. I've seen it at its best when it first open, gradually getting sloppy and neglected, After they opened back from the pandemic, I've seen fair amount of their machines broken down, free weights missing and or left abandoned by a discourteous user. Honestly poor gym bros not respecting the house... Took a year off from this super gym, wow was I surprised how put together the super gym is, I say 80% back to gold standard since being back for a month.... They really started to clean and sanitize the whole building. Machines were all operating properly. Keep up the good work....

If you're ready to get your things stolen, go to this gym. So I went here for exactly 1 hour, and someone managed to break into multiple lockers and steal people's wallets$$ and personal items including mine. I reported it to staff and they told me that unfortunately, they can not do anything about it. They said it happens periodically and some times repetitively, They told me I have to go to the police station and make a report. I asked if they had cameras recording the entrances of the locker rooms, and they told me no. I understand not having them inside the locker room for privacy, but they need to get some for the entrances of the locker rooms as well for the swimming pool area. They basically didn't care to help me out in any way. They were not sympathetic at all & more robotic towards this stressful situation. When I went to file a report to the police they were just as robotic and told me to make a report online 🙄 😑. Telling me that you shouldn't bring your personal belongings to the gym. It's so sad to hear that basically nothing will be done with the whole situation. After everything I was told that people request 3 day passes and go in to the gym either hiding Bolt cutters in their gym bags or jacket and pretending to change clothes till they see that Noone is in the room & they start to break open locks that can easily be broken into. The fact that they know this and allow it to continue shows that they don't care about the people who pay to go here. They need to create better security for people's belongings. This gym used to be nice now it looks like it's taken a dive for the slumbs of the streets. Making it an easy target to steal from the hard working, paying, & loyal customers. The gym does not care about their members at all & only wants your money. They are full of ish just like their showers 🚿 & the Mission Hills Police Division are a Big let down as well.

Not great. The day I purchased my membership, I found my backpack outside my locker with the padlock missing. Luckily I didn't leave Anything valuable in there. They need security, also way too many people sitting around hogging the machines. Oh and the meatheads are insufferable😭this gym really went downhill FAST
