I recently got back into CorePower and am really liking it so far. My favorite class is Yoga Sculpt, which combines hot yoga, cardio, and weights. Bring a towel because you'll definitely sweat! I'm also a fan of CorePower Strength X (CSX), a 45-minute strength training class with cardio and circuits. It's quick, effective, and leaves me feeling sore in the best way. FYI: towels aren't free, so bring your own! If you forget, you can rent a towel for $2 and a mat for $4. Parking is easy in the mornings. There are two-hour spots nearby and plenty of spaces by the movie theater.

Went here for the second time for series Corepower Yoga 1 (C1) flow. Walked inside and realized I had left my yoga mat…it was a long day. Vinita at the front desk said I would need to pay for a rental ($4 charge). I was not aware of this policy and she didn’t seem to be lenient about it until I asked if it would be okay just this time, and she said curtly “yes just this time but you’ll need to clean the mat yourself after you’re done.” I was surprised with my experience because she seemed upset about the mat rental when it was only my second visit there as a newcomer and I did not know they require you to pay if you don’t bring your own mat. I’ve been to other studios like yoga six as a first timer and they let me use a mat, no biggie. I think this studio is only in it for the money as there are very many other reasonably priced yoga studios in the area (less than $100/month for yoga) with a more laidback and less stuck up environment. It feels more like a corporate yoga house with people who like yoga but don’t practice the principles behind it. Would not recommend.

UPDATE: aside from my mat being stolen… I have to say I recently took a class with Tori and she was an amazing instructor! ———— Previous review: Got my Manduku Pro Mat stolen and blamed by the staff. Someone stole my mat when I left it last week. It couldn’t have been mistaken bc I have mine tied in a yellow band. Who in their right mind would take someone’s sweaty mat. I’ll take that as my fault, but still..it’s rare to get anything stolen in fitness classes Tried 2 free classes through their website, then paid via ClassPass. When I checked-in the staff accused and gave me attitude saying I’m new in their system and that many people are abusing their free trial offer. It was unprofessional and I had to set them straight about their rude behavior. They should’ve approached it with better customer service and ask instead of making assumptions and giving me an attitude. I go during lunch hour for their Yoga sculpt class and it gives me a good sweat session but I really don’t appreciate the lack of customer care and how quickly my mat got stolen.

Fairfax corner studio is my favorite CorePower studio in the area. Space is chill, people and staff are all friendly. Some of my favorite instructors teach here including Weaam, who has been amazing! Her playlist is such a vibe and her C2 flow is just right.

I enjoy this studio very much. The space is nice and the studios are roomy. The one issue is parking is impossible certain times of the day. I generally go in the mornings or at night to avoid driving around in circles looking for a space.
