Maozinha Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I began my trial class on October 22nd and attended the 6am session, which I found to be incredibly enjoyable. I was instantly captivated by the experience. The students were supportive and welcoming, fostering a sense of unity akin to a large family. Having visited several other martial arts gyms in the past, I can confidently attest that Daniel's management of the gym is exceptional. His teaching style and structured approach contribute significantly to the development of proficient Jiu-Jitsu athletes. I wholeheartedly recommend this facility for those seeking authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction from a genuine Brazilian practitioner. The emphasis on fundamental skills is evident, and after approximately three months of training here, I have noticed significant progress, surpassing individuals of the same rank at other gyms during open mat sessions.

I got to drop in for the evening class last night, and I had an awesome time! The gym is clean, I was greeted immediately and felt welcomed by everyone on the team, great instruction, a good physical push, and lots of women present as well! Professors Daniel and Emily have a great thing going here, and I highly recommend anyone looking for good jiu jitsu in North Houston to stop by. Thank you guys again for the hospitality and great experience. Can't wait to stop by next time I'm in town.

This place has been a God send for me and my family. You will not find a better gym on the North side of Houston. Professors’ Daniel and Emily have worked hard to provide a world class atmosphere and it shows. Clean, professional, and very family friendly. The instruction is incredible and tailored to individual abilities/goals. There’s a lot of former military and first responders with every member working together to bring the best out of one another. Quality people, quality facilities, and a very welcoming team. Come check it out. You wont be disappointed!

Everybody is like family here yet we challenge each other. The professor is awesome and you will learn something new every roll, from a white belt to black. Everything is very organized, clean and professional. My kids love learning here and I love everything about this gym. I've been at several gyms throughout my life, Maozihna is truly one of the best.

My daughter has been coming here for over 3 years. She is 7 now and LOVES it! We do both the homeschool and regular kids classes. She has become stronger, more focused and a more confident child because of these classes. It is a wonderful place to train.
