LA Fitness

Visited this club for the first time. My membership is actually held at the location on Whitestone in Cedar Park, but for the last 3 months these people are unable or unwilling to get their hot tub working. Speaking with the manager was a complete waste of time. So I decided to call this location. The phone call was very pleasant and I was assured that their hot tub is actually being serviced once a week. However as soon as I got there with my service animal, I was detained and kind of embarrassed because I was set aside in front of everybody else as they were coming in. This lady at the front counter expressed an extreme prejudice about my service animal and told me she wasn't sure if he could come in or not. Well I'm certainly not leaving my service animal outside. I was incredibly offended has she had no regard for my animal's documentation. And again I was just sat there to wait. I'm really rethinking whether or not I want to continue going to this club. This employee should be trained, can I be trained quickly regarding handicapped people otherwise this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I am documenting the situation publicly for the purpose of seeing what these people plan on doing to continue to accommodate the public. I paid just as much as everybody else, $37 a month for a basic membership. I have put in calls to the main office, and will be forwarding all of my notes to my attorney, and if anybody else is experiencing this I recommend they do the same. This is unacceptable 😡

None of their stuff ever works. Their hot tub is never on, and they never notify members. It’s frustrating because their operations management is incredibly poor. This is a recurring issue. I asked the front desk after my 5th or 6th time getting disappointed over several years, and they said to just call ahead every time. Basketball gym has been shut down for personal training center that rarely gets used. This gym is getting worse and worse. I recommend going to the one on AW Grimes.

The worst ever! Old machines! Very rude staff! They only smile to u till u get signed up! No help, always short staffed! They almost kick people out around closing! With their very limited short hours! I saved myself by leaving this chaos and signing up in a newer better gym with way nicer crowd!

I got my membership in Phoenix AZ due to the fact that I was able to use Esporta & LA Fitness everywhere they had them. I recently moved back to Texas & continue to use it even though I can’t alternate. Never had a problem with any gyms. But this location has been one of the worst gyms I’ve ever been to, as soon as you walk in it has a horrible smell like old mold & it always feels humid, idk if their air conditioning doesn’t work properly, you’ll feel a breeze here & there. But it doesn’t feel any better. And the workers aren’t any help, I told a worker about a man trying to take ownership of a machine he wasn’t using to begin with but still managed to be rude to me & tell me “he wasn’t gonna argue with me” & proceeded to take it from me & used it. & they didn’t bother having a talk to him or warn him. All the people that go here are entitled & the workers don’t do anything about it when it’s pointed out. Super rude & unprofessional.

I've been to 9 different LA fitness so far and this is my least favorite location. This place has weird mold odor all around the gym and air conditioning might not be working or might be set substantially higher than other LA fitness locations I have been to. I was concerned working out in this location over times might cause respiratory issue. I hope LA fitness could take care of this location to keep up with other great locations' standard.
