I love Orangetheory! I have been a member for 7 years and I cannot imagine my life without it. I highly recommend at least trying it out! It is a great workout and if you are consistent you will see results. The coaches are fabulous. Head Coach JT brings the energy. Laura, Krystina and Nick are the best team up front!! Come and drink our Kool Aid!!!!

I love OTF!!! The workouts are different everyday. I love the coaches here at University - they encourage and push you. The front desk team know your name. There is a good sense of community here. I've been a member for 6 years now and I wouldn't want to get my splats anywhere else!

Signed up for a free class here because I have been looking to implement a class to my workout routine. My friend goes to this location which is what made me try it, because I actually live in south Austin. I signed up for a specific class time, filled out the paperwork 24 hours in advance, and arrived 20 minutes early to class. I walked in, and they told me because I am new, that I couldn’t do that class anymore because it depended on how comfortable the trainer was with new clients. They told me I was supposed to be there 30 minutes in advance and there wasn’t enough time to show me around. They told my friend that they had texted me to arrive early, which they didn’t. It is super nerve wracking to walk into a new fitness class for the first time, and to be turned away was really disheartening.

I came for the free trial advertised online, burned 900+ calories in an hour, and tried their row machine and a couple exercise combos I don't normally do. I liked the music play list better than at Crunch, but I held off on signing up because the price is higher. The way OT runs their classes does encourage some social interaction coming and going for desired peer support besides the trainer's feedback and encouragement.
