I really did not like this gym, the reason for one stars is at the end. This gym felt crowded and there’s not a ton of equipment. Would really rate this 4 stars but when i went in to cancel my membership the guy at the front desk said come back when Sarah is here. I said no I’m not coming back you need to cancel this right now he gave me one more objection and i refused. He then called someone over the cancel my membership. Pretty sleezy business to be apart of if you won’t let unsatisfied customer leave. Went to crunch fitness.

Giving 5 starts to Aaron at LA Fitness Lakehighlands! Best customer service in the area, always treats everyone with kindness and gives the upmost hospitality. I highly recommend him, if you’re looking for a gym in the area you have to go see him!

BEWARE: I participated in Personal training with LA Fitness for almost a year. Then they sold/outsourced their training to another company. All the trainers left which should have been a sign. Since my trainer of a year left I asked to cancel my month-to-month contract but was told I would not get money back for any sessions I hadn't used even though LA fitness no longer provides trainers. I was shocked by the lack of help I received especially considering I even got my husband to become a member. I'm out a lot of money but it's obviously not a lot of money to them. They offered to let me start over with a new trainer to use up my remaining sessions but it'd have to be with the new company so they don't even facilitate it. It used to be I could walk in to the gym and talk to someone but now it's all over the phone or email so they can hide from their members. I get it's a business but it's a business that sells themselves as a community of support and bettering yourself but they actually just want to see how much money they can get out of you and take advantage of those who believe them. Be weary of agreeing to a contract with them. Now I’m seeing on the warnings here in the reviews. I hope someone sees this before they fall into the same trap so many of us have.

Can anyone help, maybe management, explain why the nighttime employees are harassing its members with calling the police to get us arrested and revoking our membership if we don’t leave at exactly the time they close. We pay a lot of money NOT TO BE harassed like that. Far from being comfortable about it.

Decided to give another try to LA FITNESS despite the horrific situation we went through at another location. I made the right choice by coming here, Mr. Anthony helped me get the best value for my cash, and also made sure my experience was extremely positive. This location really exceeded my expectations!!!!
