It’s a really great rink with a good local community, but if you’re planning a trip by T you should know that Ice Castle fenced off their property right next to the Overbrook stop so it’s impossible to walk from the stop to the rink without walking aaaaaall the way around and back down the driveway from the road. Better planning would be to get off at Castle Shannon and walk through the Park n Ride and then through the rink parking lot. I really wish they hadn’t done this, it’s lame to prohibit people without cars access to their property easily because they expect us to be riff raff or cause damage. It sucks. Everything else about the rink is fine, but this aspect is pretty dumb.

First time for me in this arena as an out of towner. Great facility. It was extremely clean in the public areas . Plenty of viewing, a nice bar, and a nice snack bar with wide variety of choices. Tons of parking out front. We stayed at the Springhill suites about 10 minutes away and good restaurant choices for post game fun. I was also impressed with the team we played. Strong hockey team and parents that know the game. But, back to the rink… great spot and definitely a 5/5 .

Would of liked to seen upper indoor seating down the middle of both ice rinks accommodating more seating in a climate controlled environment along with there dinning and bar.

We stopped there on Friday around 6.00pm and had to wait for the skating rink to be open for public until 7.00pm...eh..did not want to disappoint our 5 y.o.daughter, so had to kill the time to wait..unexpected for us we spent more than an hour there skating...we loved it!! I wish there were a bit less people there as at some point it was really crowded. I guess we just had to pick some other day.😃other than that the place is great with lots of disco lights and music playing. There is snack options outside of the rink place
