The gym has good equipment, but is way too small for the number of students this school has now.

This fitness center is grossly inadequate for the size of the Lehigh University community. Hardly space to breathe in the main weight room during peak hours let alone enough space to get a good workout. An additional fitness room with limited equipment is located on the 5th floor but only for limited hours. The pool is ancient and only open for lap swimming about 6 months out of the year with extremely limited hours. Lifeguards wear street clothes to boot. I once saw a lifeguard wearing knee-high leather boots -- hey, I'm drowning, please save me! Be right there. I have to take off my knee-high leather boots first! - There is a neat rock climbing wall and some nice squash courts along with basketball courts. Men's showers are not kept clean and definitely not a place to shower barefoot. Being that Lehigh is a Division I school with 7,000 plus undergraduate and graduate students, this place just doesn't cut it. The building houses the administrative offices for Lehigh Athletic coaches and staff. They might want to consider sending them over to Goodman where the varsity athletes train and create space that can be reconfigured to build a better Taylor Gymnasium.

Some of the equipment is so old I literally have no idea how to use it. The gym is small and the equipment is from 1980
