For the longest time, I had a keen interest in martial arts, but didn’t know where to start. Then I found Ten Tigers Kung Fu Academy, and I’m really glad I made the decision to join. Sifu, Shue and Richard welcomed me with patience and support, helping me navigate this exciting journey. As I’ve progressed towards my next belt level, it’s been rewarding to see the genuine happiness for my achievements. Each class offers a sense of growth and community. If you’re looking to begin your martial art journey, I highly recommend Ten Tigers Kung Fu Academy. It’s been a positive experience for me.

Ten Tigers Kung Fu Academy is an outstanding martial arts school! Led by the ever-patient and infinitely wise Sifu Rik Kellerman, they are phenomenal. Sifu somehow manages to turn even the most uncoordinated of us into graceful warriors. The classes are well-structured, and the environment is welcoming and supportive. Whether you're a beginner trying to figure out how to tie your belt without looking like you’re gift-wrapping yourself or an experienced martial artist seeking to perfect your skills, you'll find something to challenge and inspire you here. Plus, if you ever wanted to feel like a superhero, this is the place to start! The focus on self-respect, self-confidence, and self-defense is evident in every session. Trust me, after a few classes, you'll be radiating confidence and might even catch yourself posing like a kung fu master in front of the mirror. I highly recommend Ten Tigers Kung Fu to anyone looking to improve their martial arts skills and overall well-being.

My 12yr son takes classes here for a couple months. The Sifu is very passionate about what he is teaching and also goes out of his way to instill life long lessons in the students to help them grow as individuals. Also, the background and lineage of the KungFu they are teaching is legit.

My boys, ages 10 and 4, are loving Ten Tigers Kung-Fu. I've never seen my oldest so motivated to succeed at something. The teachers are patient and committed to having the children learn the style. Everyone is welcoming and warm. We are here to stay!

Around 2019, we signed up my then 7-year old daughter for Kung Fu at Ten Tigers. I watched her grow quickly over that first year, sticking with it and never giving up, learning discipline, self-confidence, patience, and many other virtues. All the while, I wondered if I'd be able to do it myself. Would I really be able to successfully practice Kung Fu if I start for the very first time in my late 30's? I was never really into working out, I wasn't the sports type, and my idea of exercise was a mile walk around the neighborhood. Sometime after the disastrous year of 2020, I decided to give it a go. I'd already changed my diet and daily routines, lost a lot of weight, and thought that it was time to really give this a shot. 3.5 years into it now, I went from being unbalanced and uncoordinated, barely able to get a front kick above knee level to having a completely life-changing experience. I've progressed, I'm flexible in ways I never was previously throughout my whole life, stronger physically and mentally than I've ever been, and learned all new techniques involving self-discipline, restraint, patience, balance, and many other virtues just like my daughter did before me. Ten Tigers is an integral part of my life. We are students and classmates, but we are also a family. Kung Fu remains one of the most important things in my life that I always make every effort to do no matter what else may be going on at the time. There are no egos here, just respect and discipline. If you every thought you could, or wanted to just see if you can try, you absolutely can. Ten Tigers is the place to do it.
