Dr Paul did a fantastic job. In the initial visit he told me his goal was to determine the cause of pain and remove 50% of it. I thought that would be difficult to achieve. Fast forward: Instead of jumping straight into exercises. Paul worked on finding the root cause of the problem. Evaluated by movements, body positioning and questions, he was able to determine what further actions to take. Upon completion of our first visit, I did feel better 50% right away, not immediately why? Because I was sore from the dry needling which he noted right away. After an hour passed, I was home and felt much better than 50%. In ONLY 1 hour! Day 2 came, I was back to work. Note: he also checked in to see if I had questions with follow up stretches etc. Day 3 came and I felt completely fine. Note: he AGAIN checked in to see if I had questions with follow up stretches etc. Showed that he cared beyond just another patient/client. Day 4 came and I had 0 pain. I actually reached out to him for a link to leave a review because I thought the effort he put in was so stellar. A master at his craft if you will, HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

My walking and endurance has been improving rapidly since going to Pat5 PT. Paul is a very knowledgeable and capable PT. He keeps it interesting by changing it up every visit. I would recommend him to everyone. The office is clean comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for helping me.

I had a painful shoulder rotator cuff issue. Paul very diligently diagnosed and treated the problem with therapy sessions, and prescribed a daily exercise routine to achieve great results. One-on- one attention for a full hour for each session is an added benefit. I would definitely recommend Par 5 PT!

When I started with Dr Kochoa I had trouble walking and completing a golf swing due to hip and leg issues. These conditions remained after previous PT sessions at another location/practice which focused mainly on stretching. In addition Dr Paul stressed more rigorous exercises even directly related to the golf swing but applicable to all motions. Now I’m walking better and playing golf. I found Dr Paul’s approach very thorough: -continuous monitoring of progress -checking flexibility - adjusting home exercise programs - all easily accessed online I highly recommend Dr Kochoa

I have had the extremely fortunate (unfortunate?) opportunity to see Paul for two different rounds of physical therapy due to different issues with my shoulder. The first time was after two rounds in a traditional PT setting and seeing no true long-term progress. I felt the traditional PT sessions were just a cycle of insurance claims, with no true investment in whether I got better or not. When I say going to Paul was an absolute game changer for how I move and heal my body, I don't say that lightly. When I mysteriously injured my shoulder a second time (my late thirties are doing me dirty, I tell ya), I didn't call my doctor first; I e-mailed Paul. Immediately, he texted me a calendar invite to schedule an appointment. Paul's style of physical therapy is a far cry from the moving rotation of machines I was used to, and is almost more akin to an hour-long personal fitness training session. Our appointments are always focused on pain management, range of motion, and muscle relaxation first and with VERY hands-on manual manipulation on his part (the dude works for your money, haha), before there's even a discussion of exercises. He always meets me where I'm at, and I always walk out of there feeling better. In fact, I enjoy my time with Paul so much that when my husband developed a lower back injury at the same time I was going to physical therapy already, I told him to e-mail Paul! I was even able to gift my husband the rest of the advanced sessions I purchased because I healed faster than predicted. At the time of my visits, Paul didn't accept insurance, and I was so glad for that! It meant I was able to use my HSA dollars and choose my health care provider for the quality of care I hoped to receive instead of what my insurance said I was allowed to access. I viewed my time with Paul as a considered purchase and an investment, but one that has paid dividends on my health. Not just me, but my family, now has a health partner we can call on as we stare down the barrel of our 40s, and we know that, should anything happen, we'll have excellent care in Paul's hands, AND care that would take half the healing time of a conventional round of treatment at a physical therapy farm. 10/10! Highly recommend!
