Gym is small but well equipped. The cleaning lady does a wonderful job keeping the place clean and neat. I am very impressed! I used to go to LA Fitness but then I stopped because at some point they forgot about the meaning of “keep the place clean”. The machines were so nasty, the floor was full of dust and hair. It was a mess everywhere. So discussting! Planet Fitness from Linden is the opposite of this. You can enjoy your workout knowing that they always keep the place clean. I am giving them 4 stars only because the space its a little small and the machines are not brand new!

Newly renovated. Only suggestion please consider Turning the leg press machine the other way. When the sun is setting it’s right in your face makes it hard to use the machine

There are not enough weight plates for the leg presses and the Smith machines. There are not enough dumbbells and no mirrors in front of the dumbbells. Most importantly there is an insufficient amount of adjustable benches for free weight and Smith machine use. Come on buy a few more benches and some more weight. There are now two leg presses next to each other and there is simply not enough weight for both of them. Machines are still not fixed after months. For example one of the chest fly machines is missing the yellow knob for easy adjustment. It has been that way for over a year. One of the machines for the back has had a loose chest pad for a few weeks now despite reporting this to the front desk. Most importantly the tanning machines are 15 years old. They don't tan well, The protective metal cage keeps falling on the users, and are a health risk. You are now I noticed when somebody gets hurt. All the other nearby planet fitness locations have the newer machines that actually tan. Finally whoever looks at these reviews always responds by telling dissatisfied members to contact the management. Here is a suggestion why don't you contact the management and do something about it since you are responsible for commenting on these reviews. There is no general manager ever present at this gym. Just the front desk people who don't know anything. For a few thousand dollars they can make this place great but they choose not to. Now that they raised the price they are no longer competitive and there are other options for us in the area. Oh and I forgot to mention that bird feces all over the front entrance that is tracked into the location. Not as bad as the Woodbridge location but still disgusting and a health risk. Will be calling the health department just like I did on the Woodbridge location. Don't tell me to call the landlord like you did last time you are the tenant you reach out to the landlord. It's amazing how you don't care about how your place looks and the health of your members considering that it is a health club.

Planet fitness in Linden is spacious. For just ten dollars a month what goes wrong. They also offer water massage beds, massage chairs, and unlimited tanning booth with the black membership which is just a few dollars difference. The great part is you can always bring a guest whenever you want. They just recently updated their machines which I have taken pictures of below.

There's about to be a lot more black card members!!! They finally got updated massage chairs and OMG they feel amazingggg! Just one more reason to use this gym. The employees are always pleasant and they keep it very clean. What else could you want? Update: Currently closed for renovations as of yesterday 8/27. Will update when I see they have reopened.
