The staff here are not helpful at all and don’t even tell you the complete information. I had a monthly account and needed to put on a bi-weekly freeze and I asked the front desk and the person working there said I could apply for it online and would pay less. I was never told that I can only be put on a monthly freeze due to my account type and had to pay for the entire month. My dad also has membership here and when he signed the contract for a yearly membership, it mentioned a cancellation fee yet again the front desk told him it’s just “on paper” and they don’t charge a fee to cancel the membership and they assured us multiple times but he was charged when he cancelled his membership. The staff here is not trained properly and provides misinformation quite a lot. I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

It was a nightmare for me to be here. I become a member of NJAC in August 2024, but I canceled last month. I joined NJAC specifically for pickleball since I'm trying to find a place where my group can play openly and privately. They were really accommodating at first, but after a month, they began altering the regulations without giving their members advance notice. Without informing us, they began withdrawing our reserved courts, only to discover that they had, for some reason, been handed to others. This kind of thing happened more than once. "I don't know why it happened" or "I will tell our manager" were the responses we received from the front desk workers when we attempted to ask, yet it continues to occur. The management and the majority of the employees are also incredibly unprofessional. Carol is the manager's name, I think. Her rating for customer service is way below zero. I assumed I would like playing pickleball when I joined NJAC, but instead I had a stressful experience. Stay away from this place, they are not concern to you, they only need your money.

Found my newest best playground and stomping grounds! This place is huge!!!! So many different rooms for different activities and classes. I can never get bored here with all the options to keep me going. Classes are an A+.. The staff and instructors and personal trainers are so helpful and knowledgeable… Machines have been fixed and machines break time to time no matter what gym you reside at. The place is clean and tidy. It’s getting very cold out so I am so thankful for the huge indoor track they have to do my walking or jogging. Of course they have treadmills but I prefer the actual activity of walking off of one. Locker rooms are spacious and clean. If you want to learn to Box or kick box these instructors are Amazing. HIIT classes, strength training classes, cardio, one on one personal training, Around the World classes, just so many options for all types and activities levels for everyone…. Very happy with it all…….

Long time member. Put my membership on hold for months post-Covid with no issues. Staff: phenomenal trainers - Don S. is a great motivator! All trainers have been knowledgeable and friendly. Allow you to work at your own pace. No shame. Highly efficient front desk staff. Never a wait. Answers questions with a smile and upbeat attitude. (Richard) Facility: Huge space (2 floors). Wide variety of working machines. If one is down, there's always a similar or identical machine elsewhere in the facility. Locker room always clean with plenty of available lockers. The facility is so big that I never feel crowded whether on the machines, in the locker room or classes. Classes: wide variety. Something for everyone. Offered all hours of the day. Diverse community - all ages, shapes and sizes. Overall awesome gym. Glad to be back!

I signed up for 20 personal training sessions. The trainers were good. Beware if you join for PT - check first if the PT can accommodate YOUR schedule. They are very inflexible- so make sure the schedule is discussed beforehand. WATCH YOUR MONEY. They will charge your form of payment without contacting you. Wait until you try to reason with them! I have 3 geniuses trying to figure this out for a month. Now logically if you have 20 sessions and you use 12 you have 8 left, you used 15 you have 5 left, you use 20 you’re done. Not one person in that club can figure this out. If you have a question that is harder than “what time is it?” Be prepared to be ignored. I have been asking the same question for 2 months and have been ignored- both in person and emails. Besides all the other reviews stating the equipment is old and others not being fixed - all valid. Just move on . . .
