Tiger Schulmann's Martial Arts (Freehold, NJ)

We started training at Tiger Schulmann’s a few months ago and love it. Julianno Is an amazing instructor and knows how to keep the classes engaged. If you are looking for a great workout, I recommend you try a class. If it matters to you, this is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been in and everyone is super friendly! So glad we found this gym!

My daughter started at TSMA in Staten Island with Sensei Varricchio 2 years ago when she was 5 years old. The skill, discipline and confidence she has gained in addition to setting goals for herself and achieving those goals is amazing. We are so happy that Sensei opened in Freehold (we were traveling back to SI to train with him after we moved to NJ!). Sensei & Justin are great not only with kids of all ages, but with the adults. In addition to my daughter training at TSMA, I started earlier this year. The adult classes are amazing, high energy and very family like-Everyone is so supportive of one another. Highly recommend coming in for a trial class to try it out!

I’ve trained with Tiger Schulmann’s in Manhattan and Staten Island over the years and I knew I wanted to enroll my kids when they got old enough. The environment and culture Sensei Julianno had cultivated is motivating, empowering, and encouraging, but also no nonsense. My kids love going to karate and I love that it’s something we get to do together. They’re learning discipline, focus, confidence and so much more. I can’t say enough what a fantastic school TSMA Freehold is.

This place is amazing, truly a family environment. If I could give six stars, I would. The Sensei is fabulous and unbelievable with kids! My daughter (4) and I (38) have so much fun coming and it has been such a blessing to have found this place. She is learning discipline and how to focus and follow directions in her cubs class. I am working on getting stronger and improving technique. I initially came in looking to lose a little weight, but quickly became hooked on the energy that radiates from this place and all the people who train. Everyone supports and encourages one another on and off the mat. I find myself living a more healthy lifestyle all around now. Really can’t say enough positive about it!

I absolutely love this school! My son looks forward to going to each class. The owner/instructor is AWESOME! He makes each class fun, interesting and challenging. I love that my son is learning respect/discipline in a great environment. I truly can not recommend this school enough! Looking forward to my kids future at this school!
