My concerns about the 'Learning Center' is that this is advertised as a school but in reality, it operates more like a daycare. While the facility is visually appealing, it is extremely expensive, and many of the staff members lack experience. In my opinion, this is a very tight knit community so if you do not have pre-existing relationships or religious ties, you are susceptible to discrimination. Some staff members have displayed rude and unprofessional behavior, particularly Barbara (with glasses), who stands out as one of the rudest individuals I’ve encountered in my experience as a parent. The way she would treat us was mind-blowing. We are just parents, we did nothing wrong, and we would be treated horribly by her for issues regarding our children. Additionally, the organization and structure of this facility leave much to be desired, which is alarming for an establishment presenting itself as a school. It was just such a stressful experience when we did everything in our power to be a part of the community that we thought it was. Due to ongoing issues, I cannot provide more specifics, but I strongly encourage parents to explore other daycare options. Long story short, they mishandled important information regarding my children's care. There are many facilities with more experienced and professional staff. In the end, that is the most important thing. I highly encourage you to explore more options before committing here. Response to owner: Here is one little example of the first of two incident reports. Ariel and the director Amy told us the story in Amy's office. Ariel willingly allowed them to play a game called "Monster", where my son was the monster. Great, let the kid with ADHD be labeled "the monster" lol, it's just absurd to think about. The incident report states that my son "attempted to bite" another student during this game. Then they reassured us this was not malicious, and he was being playful, but biting isn't acceptable. He was four years old, maybe they shouldn't play monster and allow the other kids to interact like that. Maybe play some games where they are a cohesive unit on a treasure hunt or something. Everything Barbara and Babs told us during our tour was inaccurate. We switched schools hoping to be able to accomodate ADHD and we were told "we deal with this all the time". Only to be removed two months later for it. Keep in mind, his biggest issue was being a distraction to the class. But he also had some amazing days that they highlighted. There was more good than bad. This was influenced by parents during a field trip. Because he was hyper during a school play. Other kids were extremely hyper, my son is just loud. I attended, despite my busy work schedule. I was the only father without a yamaca. It just seems really odd that we were treated like this, I tried very hard to partcipate and be a part of this community. You even revoked my gym membership after this; that I was paying for. Keep in mind, we NEVER caused chaos to warrant this kind of treatment. Never disrespected the staff or did anything. I was close with Tony, the night manager of the gym. Ask him about me, show him my picture. Our son was just misbehaving. Ask your staff about me, I was more than a gentleman to those ladies and although I forgive them, this was a horrible experience for my wife and I.

Nice facility, but you really need to consider whether you want it to be your primary gym. They are closed constantly. If you are unfamiliar with Jewish holidays or special events in the community, be prepared for disappointment. I dont have enough fingers to count the amount of times I have driven there only to find it closed or to find specifically the gym facilities closed for a special event elsewhere in the building. Also, charging for towels is a bit strange considering you already pay extra for a private locker room. Im going to have to consider another gym, which is a bummer since I actually like the amenities they provide.

I got a prospective member pass but will not be going again 😢. I can't put a finger on it but this place has bad vibes. Go to the YMCA which is a much nicer facility!

We love Katz JCC! There is so much to do, from the indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center and classes, as well as reformer pilates. They also offer swim lessons for our little ones. They have a fun indoor play area that is very handy in the winter months to keep little ones busy. We love our family being part of the JCC and all the events they have to offer. The JCC is also reasonable priced for a family of 4 will all the amenities they provide.

My family loves the Katz JCC! Since moving to Cherry Hill, it’s provided us community with great programming. From enjoying the summer at the outside pool to getting a good workout in to the youth sports activities, we’ve loved every second of it. There are so many added bonuses that we never expected like pick up basketball, the cafe, and the holiday/family festivals. Join today and your family will love it as much as we do!
