My son loves it here. He has recently started taking it more seriously (he’s 6…and very silly) and he’s seeing the hard work pay off as he gets closer and closer to his goals. We have tried him in a variety of sports and activities and we were having difficulty finding his niche. BUDO was recommended to me by a friend and we tried it and it clicked. The coaches are excellent with my son and I’m watching him grow in many ways week by week. It’s exciting and most importantly, he loves it!

I love that my son gets to have something that's just for him . With having a new baby in the family, I didn't quite know how to help him and what he was feeling. But now I feel like he is less aggressive and more happy and himself. Having him at Budo has been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. I also think that he's really understanding the concept of respect in all aspects of his life. I'm really starting to see my little baby turn into an amazing kid.

The lessons so well taught at the kids’ level by Coaches Seth, Josh, and Brandon are invaluable to my child’s development as a person. I’m already seeing my son live out some of the teachings as weeks progress. The physical training of the classes—teaching balance, strength, and coordination—in introducing my son to the concepts of martial arts and self defense is such an amazing bonus. My son enjoys a well-rounded course of holistic self-improvement at Budo. I’d recommend these coaches as teachers and role models to any parent.

I enrolled both my 7-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter a few months ago and it’s the best decision we ever made. My son was very shy/quiet and as a neurodivergent kiddo, he really struggles with sitting still, inattentiveness, and sensory processing. When he first started at Budo, he struggled with the ninja kneel due to sensory issues with his feet. We stuck it out and in a few short months he’s such a different boy— even ninja kneeling at home! He is way more confident, engages more with peers, focuses better, and even helps out around the house without being asked. My daughter absolutely loved it from day one, and she is super excited to advance with her brother and her peers. Thank you Coach Josh, Coach Seth, and Mr. Brandon for all that you do!
